You are then escorted to the work area where the fun begins; you are given a personal tour thru the warehouse gazing at all the beautiful stunning slabs of granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, etc. Each piece has its own beauty; so hard from which to choose. After selecting the piece you desire, your salesman will go over all the details of the renovation process, installation, et al. I must say, after comparing several competitors, I found Granite Works Stone Design to be superior to the others with a much better/higher quality product at a lower price. My estimate with Granite Works was roughly $7,000 plus (that included the countertop in addition to new cabinets); the closest competitor wanted over $17,000 for the same job. No brainer here!!

Made and appointment to meet with one of their sales reps named Bobbi. Apparently there was a…read moremiscommunication regarding the meeting as she was expecting my wife and I to come to their showroom when I had set the appointment up for her to come to our home. I waited 2 hours past the appointment time and called the office. I got a recording essentially telling me to call back later. I tried 5 times over the next few hours and finally someone answered. I explained the situation and they put me on hold. Finally Bobbi answered and that is when we concluded that their had been a miscommunication regarding the location of the meeting. She then asked me what I was calling about and I explained that it was for repair work at our home. I told her what it entailed and asked if that was something they were capable of addressing and she assured me that it was. We then set an appointment up for the next day at our home for between 12:00PM and 1:00 PM. She stated she come and meet us on her lunch hour. I made sure she had our correct address and my phone number and told her I would see her the next day. It is now 6:00 PM, 6 hours past our scheduled meeting and Bobbie never showed or called. I find it had to believe the reviews that praise this business as based my experience I wouldn't let them install or repair a counter in an outhouse let alone my home. If Bobbi is an example of the type of people they employ then apparently they find unprofessionalism and disregard for potential customers to be accpetable. Anyone looking for granite work should avoid this company at all cost as based on how the treated me a potential customer I can imagine what type of nightmare you would deal with if you had a problem after they have your money. There are other reputable companies out there that are willing to provide professional service to gain your business.

After explaining what could realistically be repaired, I hired them to correct as many of the issues as possible. I am extremely satisfied with the results. While no one could have completely eliminated every problem caused by the original installation, Ramsier came remarkably close. Their team understood that I had made a significant investment in this stone and worked hard to provide the best possible solution in the most cost-effective way. We hired Kitchen Solvers of Greater Cleveland to remodel our kitchen. There were red flags from…read morethe very first that we should have noticed. First, the contract. It is very cumbersome and demands 90% of the money before the job is completed. That being said there were many issues. Jay is not a man of his word. He told us many things that simply didn't happen in a timely manner. His workmanship is not good. We have 3 very glaring issues; a large gouge in the sink, a hole where the countertop does not meet the wall, and braces under the bar that show. It would be major to repair these mistakes. We will live with them. In August, before we signed the contact, we told Jay not to start the project unless he could get it finished before the Thanksgiving holiday. We were in no hurry and said he could start in January of 2024. We had a house full of company coming for Thanksgiving and we were also celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Jay told us this would not be a problem. He assured us as time went by that he would be done the Friday before Thanksgiving. The week before Thanksgiving Jay came several days, late morning or early afternoon and worked well into the night. Of course, he asked us if this was OK and we naturally said yes because we were running out of time to finish the kitchen. One night he stayed until midnight. The job was finally competed the Monday before Thanksgiving at 8:30PM. Jay does not communicate. There were times when we didn't see him or he was here for a short period of time for several days. There was plenty of time to complete the job if they had worked. He originally told us the countertop would not be a problem as it was made in house and took from 2 to 3 days. Our countertop took 7 days and then was not correct. The Plumber came to do what he had to do and not only was Jay not here but neither was the countertop or sink. There were also extra costs that we did not expect. Jay originally told us the quoted price was all inclusive. We had issues with the backsplash and the sink faucet which added $775 to the cost. Naturally Jay said neither of these was his problem. We disagree. After completing the job, we had a list of issues that could be fixed. They came and fixed what they could. They still had to replace a damaged door which Jay told us would take a few days. Two and a half weeks later we had not heard from him so I called corporate Kitchen Solvers and that afternoon I hear from Leslie. This is the first time in our 80 years of life that we have published a negative review. Just be careful if you are considering Kitchen Solvers (Jay) for your remodeling project. Our experience was not good. If you want more information you can get our number from Jay. If he refuses to give it to you, it is an indication that the above is correct. George and Joyce Smith

I visited Prosource a couple of times in the past (ordered carpeting, tile, and hardwood flooring)…read morethrough them in the past) and saw that they now had Glass Shower doors (and we were in the market for new shower doors!) . I requested a quote and followed up a few times...never did receive the final quote (I received one quote but it was the wrong frame material and there was supposed to be a corrected quote...that I never received" AND the quote did not have any approximate measurements on it so I could not accept it as ut was submitted anyway...strange that it was EXTREMELY (3x the cost) expensive compared to the custom glass quotes (2) I received. (I suspect the dimensions that the company quoted were incorrect but there wasn't anything written on the quote) The last I heard (SEPT 2) was "We have a new Basco representative, our pricing must come from but he has not gotten back to me yet. As soon as I receive it, I will get the quote over to you. Sorry for the delay. " I never followed up after that. The reason I go to Prosource is they have a list of decent installers (at least for flooring and tile) And the people working at ProSource used to be extremely knowledgeable....I did not get that impression this time.
