I would not recommend AAA for detailed or historic masonry construction or repair. While I have no…read moredoubt they could complete simple projects with no issue, we struggled with ensuring that the historic integrity of our home was preserved and will ultimately need to have the project redone with another company out of our own pocket. We needed to replace a brick pillar of our attached carport in our home which was built in 1915. There is a remaining original pillar which AAA stated they would be able to replicate without issue, with a diagonal taper on the outside and a straight vertical on the inside, jacking up the carport roof to ensure it is level. They had initially told us that they would be able to source the same bricks, however that was not the case. They were able to find a suitable match to color and texture. We explicitly confirmed with the project lead that the specific brick pattern and mortar style needed to be matched and he confirmed for us that this could be done with no issue. However after the first day this directive was not being followed and the worked needed to be demolished and restarted. At this point our estimate increased by 50% due to increased labor and material cost even though all of this had been discussed prior to initiation of the project. As the project continued, we noticed that the pillar was leaning into the driveway instead of being built on a straight vertical and the work again needed to be redone. Upon completion, we ended up with sloppy work and a curvy/lumpy line on the outside of the pillar rather than a straight diagonal line. I understand that the pillar will never look exactly the same, however had I been informed that AAA is unable to build a straight vertical and a straight diagonal line then I would have found a different contractor. Additionally, the city inspector stopped by while they were working to inquire about a permit. AAA pushed back on obtaining a permit for the work for some reason and pushed for us to get it instead, even though they are the ones doing the work. We had to insist that they go through the proper channels to get the permit which was very frustrating as I was under the impression that this was standard practice for any reputable contractor and we have never had his issue before.

Look no further! AAA Home Improvement is a top notch company. They provided a thorough estimate…read moreand spent so much time reviewing options with us. They were available whenever we needed them to ask a question and provide updates on the process. The entire process was fast, easy, clean, efficient and quality of work was excellent. This is the company you want to hire for your roof!
