We recently had three under counter cabinet drawers that were not closing and were making a little ping noise. When I removed the drawers I could see that a little gray plastic part was broken. I was not sure how that affected the closing of the drawer, but it clearly was not right. I found Choice Cabinets online and called the home office totally expecting this to be a hassle. Not so, the operator transferred me to a person who looked up my address and took down my information, and in a matter of ten of fifteen minutes said she would sen out replacement hardware that should arrive in about a week. Three days later the three now rails arrived. They were easy to replace, maybe ten to fifteen minutes each and the draws work perfectly again. BTW, they are the same hardware but the closing mechanism is a little different, so I suspect they have been improved over the other design. It was great experience to have the manufacturer stand behind their product.

They completed the order on time and were very understanding when we were not ready to accept delivery when scheduled. They made the delivery exactly as they promised on the revised date and was very responsive in replacing a door that had a small ding on a corner. We have another project and have already place our order. We will definitely use them again and we strongly recommend them and their product.

I tried to be quiet about this but after a year looking at the mess they left, I need to warn…read moreothers. See the other reviews, my experience was the same, in addition to the crew fighting and cursing each other in my home. While Alex made good for most errors, I am still finding flaws in the work as noted by other reviews - poor grouting, tiles are uneven, smudges of clear caulk left over the glass and my floors, a shower door that doesn't close evenly. And don't get me started about the shower glass and door installed backwards and the mess made correcting it. At the end I just wanted them out of the house.

***WARNING STAY AWAY***…read more I hired Alex Ivashchuk and his Russian clown troupe to remodel my kitchen because he was the lower bidder. Alex required that I pay 50% up front and told me usually he asks for 80% up front. (That should have been the red flag right there). So instead of showing me a selection of tile he tells me I need to go to the "Tile Shop" in Oakwood Village OH to purchase the tile (another red flag). When his crew got started they made all sorts of mistakes. My personal favorite was the accidently ripping a hole in the wall upon removing the counter top back splash. (hey, it happens). But the messed up thing was, they put the new counter top and backsplash OVER the hole where you could still see a gaping hole around it. It wasn't even close to being unoticeable. We had not yet discussed where the holes were going to be drilled for the new sink heads. Yeap you guessed it! Alex and his crew just said f**k it and drilled anyway. The final straw was the floor. when the grouted the tile they wiped much too hard and took too much grout out as they smoothed it. The end result was you could clearly see the EDGE of the tiles. not the beveled tops but the acual SIDES of the tiles. I could poor water in the grout line and you could watch it become an "ant sized" diamond shaped river. I told Alex this was no good. It has to be "SMOOTH" (meaning from tile to tile). Well because Alex only knows basic english he thought I meant use a smooth "epoxy" grout. The word EPOXY never came out of my mouth... once. Oh but it gets good here. Instead of digging out the old grout, his guys just slap a thin layer on top of the existing grout. Now you can ask any mason worker that deals with cement/stone or any kind of paving. YOU CANNOT PUT NEW ON TOP OF OLD! You have to cut out and start anew. After that I gave him the boot and hired someone else to fix it. The new company fixed it for a $1500 price tag and there was grout dust EVERYWHERE from the sawing but it had to be done. After several attempts to sue in court even showing before and after photos I am still denied my claim. It must be the magistrate of Stow OH doing Alex's attorney a nice buddy favor. Sure that sounds like a crazy conspiracy theory but what else am I left with to believe? I think the biggest problem with Berkut is that Alex only hires other Russians. You see, it doesn't matter if your even qualified or not. As long as your of his own ethnicity, Alex will welcome you aboard his company with open arms! So in closing PLEASE PAY MORE PEOPLE AND HIRE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Don't take my word for it check out the before and after photos for yourself that I posted on photobucket.
