I am not sure if they are the…read morehighest quality, I know that within the Choice selection they do not seem to be the "Top of the Line", but they are holding up quite well and are very attractive. We recently had three under counter cabinet drawers that were not closing and were making a little ping noise. When I removed the drawers I could see that a little gray plastic part was broken. I was not sure how that affected the closing of the drawer, but it clearly was not right. I found Choice Cabinets online and called the home office totally expecting this to be a hassle. Not so, the operator transferred me to a person who looked up my address and took down my information, and in a matter of ten of fifteen minutes said she would sen out replacement hardware that should arrive in about a week. Three days later the three now rails arrived. They were easy to replace, maybe ten to fifteen minutes each and the draws work perfectly again. BTW, they are the same hardware but the closing mechanism is a little different, so I suspect they have been improved over the other design. It was great experience to have the manufacturer stand behind their product.

The house was completely gutted so I saw so much potential. Sadly the work completed is terrible. Josh Hillman has no idea what he is talking about. He's a sleazy salesman with no real knowledge. The quality of work is so bad. Every sink leaks and there is mold in a new cabinet because they just left it there. There's paint from the cabinets all over the countertops. There's white paint on the blue porch. The windows are not sealed properly and they just fall in. They made decisions and argued with me over what I actually wanted because they already purchased things that were not discussed with me. The anchors in the basement were not installed properly and the boards supporting them are bending. The window in the basement is broken and water and dirt just leak in. All in all he promises that he can complete the job for significantly less money. Just spend the money on a professional, you'll have to redo the work anyway.

In the end we had a mishap with Lowes and a couple of things that Mike came out and fixed, but in the end we got our beautiful little bathroom remodel, I've referred Damian's info to a few people, and would definitely work with Damian, Ryan, Mike, and again.

Back in January or February 2022, my husband and I decided to renovate our primary bath and contacted Element, along with two other renovation companies. Element gave us the best estimate and was more responsive than the other two, so we decided to go with them. The design process went smoothly. Element has a very nice showroom that makes it easy to choose materials. We decided to put off the actual renovation until June because my husband and I could be home during the renovations in the summer. This means that Element had five months to order the materials too, and we gave them $25,000 for doing just that. We were told by the company's owner that the project would take 3-4 weeks. The contract said it would take 20 days, minus counter and shower door installation. Demo took place June 6. A few days later, we were told that some of our tile had been discontinued. Now, if they had really ordered the tile five months earlier, why didn't we know about it then? Obviously, they hadn't ordered the tile and had used our money to pay other expenses. Luckily, we ended up with an easy solution, but it did delay the project for several days. That wasn't the only failure in communication. Often we had no idea if anyone was showing up until 10:00 in the morning. Because of this, it was difficult to schedule daily activities. We finally took to texting the project manager ourselves each morning, and that helped. The workers, for the most part, were very good at their jobs, friendly, and polite. There was one painter who was incompetent though, and despite my requests to not have him come to do work, they sent him anyway. Overall, the project took twice the promised time, finally finishing August 11. There were two weeks when no work at all was done, and there were plenty of days someone only came for a couple of hours. Although we'd been initially told that Element only takes on three or four projects at a time, we found out they were working on ten projects and were therefore spreading themselves thin. So what's the takeaway? The work is good overall, and I'm happy with the outcome. I'd hire my own painter if I had to do it over again. It's going to take a lot longer than promised. Communication is going to be a bit spottier than you'll probably want. The thing is though, I've learned talking to others that all of this, unfortunately, seems to be normal for contractors, so I don't really know if you can find better.

Mike Pierce was excellent in creating the design and helping me select materials, colors etc. I am not good at doing that but I know what I like when I see it. Mike was able to understand what I was communicating and bring it to life. John Linder was assigned to do the work. He has a meticulous attention to detail and takes great care in his craftsmanship. He's not the fastest guy around but he will do the job right. In the end I would rather have right than fast. Our bathroom is my favorite room in the house now. It's my own little retreat.

Will find another merchant to handle our big project.
