We engaged 3 contractors to receive a bid. Sembro's took the longest to receive but for good reason. Theirs was the only one that included 3D designs. It was also helpful that they had a show room to see products in person. Paul was great to work with. Construction started and ended relatively on time. Near the end of the project we nitpicked several items we wanted addressed before officially closing the project which they took action on fast. Absolutely no problems in getting them to come over and address any issues or concerns. Very happy with all the work that was completed and would not hesitate to hire again. Only gripe I would have is how they handled the referrals we passed along to them. One project they closed on and completed a kitchen remodel. We never received a "thanks" or acknowledgment of the added business we provided them. We also passed them onto another friend to provide a quote and they ended up being ghosted. Really odd.

It hurt to even give these guys one star. Samuel (owner) will talk the talk. He sounded so…read moreconfident and professional when we spoke to him for the quote. We were impressed and wanted to give him a shot at our whole house, interior paint job. He promised us he could get it done before we moved in (about a week) and that anything we didn't like, he would make sure it was to our liking before leaving. He started by buying the cheapest paint Sherwin Williams offers. It was ProMar 200 - commercial grade paint. After the first day, they asked us what time we wanted them there the next day and we said, 8am. They responded, "Well we live a half hour away." First guy showed up the next day at 9:20. They showed up late other times too. None of them seemed like very experienced painters. Applied tape poorly, so that when it was taken off, lines were not clean at all. Kitchen ceiling had multiple missed areas, making it look worse than before they "painted" it. They had told us they would put up drywall over the wall in a half bath because previous owner had painted over wallpaper, and couldn't be removed without pulling off chunks of drywall. Then in the middle of the job, they decided to just "patch" the areas where wallpaper was peeling. See picture below to see how that turned out. The worst was one night, Samuel left the youngest guy to finish the kitchen area. The kid decided to speed things up and used a sprayer on our drywall. We were left with overspray on ceilings, walls, and kitchen cabinets. We were very upset and called Samuel who promised to show up on Memorial Day weekend to make it right. Said he would bring in a crew of 4 from another job. He showed up with one guy, didn't have the materials to fix the overspray on the cabinets. When we got to the house 5 minutes late (we still weren't moved in yet), he was angry that we were late. When we pointed out that it was only a few minutes and his guys had been late repeatedly, he denied it and said they were leaving because we "disrespected them". Couldn't believe it. They left our house damaged, didn't clean up their messes, and just left. They disrespected our time and property throughout the project, and because we called them out for doing such poor work and being late repeatedly, they were "disrespected." We figured they knew they were in over their heads with all the damage, so they needed a way out. No crew of 4 showed up to "make things right." Seems like they had no intention of bringing anyone in. Just needed an excuse to quit in the middle of the poorly done job. We obviously didn't pay them the balance, but they took us for WAY too much money anyway considering the unfinished work, horrible quality of work that was done, and unprofessional time management. They even took all the cheap paint with them so we couldn't even make corrections ourselves. Ended up getting an amazing guy to help us out and he did great work cleaning up their messes and applying high quality paint. If you are considering using this company for a project, RUN AWAY FAST!!

Nate Plum of Plum Solutions LLC checks all the boxes. Nate advised us on tile selection, trim, and even patched some drywall areas for us. Also, his installation and know-how are second-to-none. He had all the right tools for the job, was organized, a pleasant individual to talk to, and cleaned up everything at the end of each day. At one point, we removed tile to discover an exposed electrical box from the prior owners hidden in the wall. While most any bootleg tradesman would just cover back over it again with tile, Nate strongly urged us to have it professionally handled so he could continue. I respect anyone who operates their business like this. If you have time to do it wrong, you have time to do it right, and Nate does it right. I hope the pictures do it any sort of justice, but I 1000% recommend this man.

The team did an incredible job! We got estimates and had a number of meetings with him and his team before anything began. We received digital drawings of what our home would look like and they worked with us until they got everything just the way we envisioned them.
