Based on my recent interactions with Absolute Repair, I cannot praise and recommend this place enough!! I recently was in need of getting my iPad Pro screen, iPhone battery + screen replaced. I originally bought the iPad Pro less half a year prior but cracked and damaged the screen. I brought it over to the Apple Store only to be told I can purchase a refurbished one for less than $600. I used one of the Yelp service locator system that allows receiving several quotes from multiple area vendors. I picked Alan's shop at Absolute Repair based on his promptness in response and accommodating nature. He gave me a very fair repair quote and was also willing to work with Amex so I could get reimbursement for repairs. When I had issues with the original repair, it was remedied right away. I was also touched by his willingness to arrive early that day to ensure the iPad screen was replaced so it works flawlessly again. When I returned to pick up my iPad, I went ahead and also got my iPhone 11 Pro Max repaired. He kept his promise that he would stop whatever task he is working on when I arrive so my phone battery can be also replaced. I was originally going to just have my battery replaced because my dogs were waiting in my car with the A/C on but door unlocked. When I had mentioned that to Alan, he let me bring in my pooches inside so I went ahead and got the screen replaced as well. Alan was also willing to carve out time to get both completed right there and then. How amazing! Before I left his shop again, Alan also placed a new screen protector on my phone so I don't get it dinged and scratched again! I paid total of less than $300 to get both my battery and screen replaced which is far better than having to replace the phone altogether. read more

Best place to fix your iPhone. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. Will do business again. read more

They were quick, however the quality of the screen was poor or possibly installation errors of the broken screen. It would work for 5 minutes and then the screen would be non responsive. I would have to close the iPad and unlock for it to become responsive again. I ended up trading it for credit from Apple read more

They actually answer the phone. And then they're nice. Gave me an estimate to fix an iPhone screen. Quickly completed the repair and charged exactly what they quoted. Highly recommend. read more

I called and asked if he would be will to try and repair an oddball bit of electronics - Garmin Edge cycling computer. After a bit of reluctance on his part he invited me over, after a few minutes of work he got the battery connector in place. Small thing but replacements are crazy expensive and offer few improvement but better screens and battery life I do not need. Thanks! read more

Alan was awesome. He fixed an iphone that the Apple store said had a dead motherboard with a repair cost almost as much as a new phone. It turned out that all it needed was a new screen, which Alan replaced in 20 minutes and inexpensively. We will definitely be going back here for any other iphone issues. read more

Brought my phone here to replace the back glass which I had shattered. They had the best price that I had seen all around, and they did a fantastic job. It was quick and the staff are very nice. I had a small crack on my camera as well and he even fixed that for me. 10/10 recommend! read more

I am so pleased with my iPad screen replacement! I will recommend this shop to family and friends. And if I ever wreck my smartphone, it's going to Absolute Repair for fixing. read more

Fast and friendly with very fair pricing. A great experience replacing my screen from start to finish. Thank you!

I was a bit frantic when I'd heard they had moved out of Kentlands and the number I called didn't go anywhere. Luckily it was just the business moving out of this place and into a new place. I stopped in on a weekday to have my Apple laptop repaired; it needed a new battery. The technician was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He gave me some pointers about using my laptop that I didn't even know about (i.e. using a specific version of Apple's update instead of the most recent update because it would not run as efficiently as the specific version). My stop in there was fast and efficient, with a reasonable price estimate given. I expected to not hear from them for several weeks, but actually got a call back within days that my laptop was ready. I have been here before, but was equally happy with this visit. I'll be back. Thank you! read more

We are a family who often cracks our laptop screens. Absolute repair has been a lifesaver for us. They have fixed three of our PCs so far over the years. They are good about giving upfront estimates before repairs start and are efficient about ordering parts. read more

Responsive, professional, reliable and fast! Loved finding out about this place!

Alan is a smartphone wizard. If your smartphone is broken don't hesitate to call and talk to him about your issue. Fixed two phones with super fast turn around saving me tons on a phone replacement. Will return again for any future issues. read more

Great experience. I brought in an iPad with a cracked screen. I picked up the iPad the next day, and the screen looks like new. There are a lot of phone/tablet repair places out there. I'm glad I chose this one. read more

Professional and responsive business. I requested a quote to get my screen replaced on an iPhone 11 Pro Max and the replacement screen didn't have a compatible refresh rate. They promptly swapped out the screen and processed a refund. I initially knew it would be difficult to find a OLED screen for an iPhone 11 Pro Max, but Absolute repair gave it a shot and upon return, they made sure I wasn't left hanging. Although it didn't work in my scenario, it's easy to see why so many people recommend this place. I will definitely return if any of my other products run into issues. read more

Very fast turn-around on my job and cost me far less than anticipated. Will go back to them again!

I've had my fair share of bad luck in the past with cracked screens. Paid a boat load of money to a place in the mall only to find more issues after! I use yelp as a guide to help me find a reputable repair place. I always take browsing with a grain of salt because you never know what you are going to find. However, I was very lucky to have come across Alan. I read a recent review on him and saw he had a substantial number of reviews. I gave him a call and he was friendly and fair with his price! Alan is the man! He repaired the crack screen in such a short period of time! He was friendly, knowledgeable, can repair Apple products an bf even non-Apple phones! He's def a contact I'm going to keep! Thanks again Alan! read more

I dropped my iPhone and my camera stopped working. I brought it into the shop and Alan immediately popped it open and tried a few quick solutions while explaining exactly what he thought the issue could be. He then gave me a great quote on doing a replacement and let me think about it for a few days. He wasn't pushy at all and genuinely wanted to find the best way to fix my problem. When I brought it in for the repair, he was able to fix it faster and cheaper than what the original quote was! I really appreciate his honesty and skill -- will definitely be sending anyone that I know here. read more

So I'll start off buy saying I have a IPhone 10 which even though it's 3 years old it's still in great condition. That made me very surprised to notice when i recorded a video frontwards & played it there was no sound. So i took it to Apple in Montgomery Mall & they said i needed a new front microphone then quoted me 298$. That price was absolutely ridiculous, then they tried talking me into just buying a new iPhone 12 instead of fixing it for that jacked up price. So i just left the store disappointed... came to myself to just look up phone repair on Yelp & this business came up. Sent a request & Alan replied back quickly, so i went to his shop & within 30 minutes he put a new microphone in my phone and now my phone works perfectly! read more

I brought my IPhone in for repair and they were just awesome! Professional on one side and just nice people on the other - a business that is worth patronizing because we need more of ! read more

This is a great shop, Alan knows what he's doing, he is honest and skilled and his prices are reasonable! This will be my go to for any future iPhone repairs that we need! read more

Update 12/14 my battery health has been crappy and took my phone in for Alan to replace the battery. It was very affordable and he completed the work very quickly (within 15 minutes). I had a nuisance problem with my iPhone 7 Plus charging/earbud port that seemed shorted out. The repair technician, Alan, was courteous, timely and communicated clearly every step of the way. They tried a quick easy free fix first and when that didn't work he very quickly and competently changed out the port. He even found a port that matched my device color, even though that doesn't really matter to me personally but as a consumer I appreciate that attention to detail. The price was competitive to what was quoted by other shops but not so low that you're leery that they may not know what they're doing. While there I noticed their in store advertising for some pretty great deals on refurbished Mac and iPhone devices so I'm pretty sure I'll be back to see them again before the summer is over. Absolute Repair and Alan get two thumbs way up. read more

Very professional service and professional equipment to do the job right. He even replaces back class cover on iPhones. iPad Pro works great now despite moisture under the crack glass screen. All around a good and positive experience both times I used Absolute Repair. read more

This isn't a home job. Very professional equipment and trustworthy technician and excellent results repairing my phone. Priced competitively

Yes. Yes to this business. Yes to Alan. I have an old MacBook. It needed a repair that was quoted to me from two different sources at $550. That didn't make sense for me to do because I can replace the computer for $450. Alan diagnosed the problem and provided transparent pricing on the repair (he showed me where to get the part and the pricing was $160.) with the part costing $160 he charged a flat $240 for the entire repair. And my laptop runs like new. I recommend him over everyone else here. (Both $550 sources were highly rated on Yelp.) read more

I had a great experience with this repair. It was handled very promptly while I waited and the price was quite fair. I was pleased enough that I took my iPad that needed a similar service in the next day and had another good experience getting it repaired. I will have all of my future repairs for Apple devices done at this business. read more

Very good service, fast too! It took me only 15 min and the screen is as nice as a new one! read more

After corresponding online with absolute repair, I took my computer over there, and just in the course of conversation they gave me some good ideas to attack my problem on my own. I was happy they didn't try to insist that they would need to take a look at it; but there was no way I could figure it out on my own. So far their advice seems to have been right on target, the problem I was experiencing has not reappeared. Should I need actual service on my laptop, I will certainly give absolute repair a crack at it. read more

This is the third time that I have been back to see Alan at Absolute Repair. All three times he has been professional and his service excellent. His is the type of business that should be kept alive during this pandemic. If you have a phone that needs repair, his quality and service is better than anyone else's. I highly recommend Alan. read more

Alan's service is great. I needed to get some important files off my old broken phone ASAP. He got it fixed and back to me AHEAD of schedule. Prices cannot be beat. Would recommend to anyone needing electronics repaired!!! read more

Alan is the best!! I always go to him for my cell needs. This is the little nondescript, gem of a shop hidden away in the back of an office park that everyone would like to find. And I'm so glad I found it. He is cheaper in any repair or service than the big box stores and best of all, no middle man. He is it! He answers calls himself and gives you straight answers. No voicemail or playing phone tag. Small jobs he will do while you wait, and larger jobs that require ordering parts take just a few days at the most. This is so important when you don't have your cell! His work is very professional and guaranteed with warranties. And did I mention very fair prices? On top of all this he has a great personality. I rate this shop 10 stars! read more

ALL THE STARS! I took an older mac to Absolute Repair in late 2018 for a new hard drive. They were responsive, prompt, friendly and very reasonably priced. But here's the best part: I set the computer aside for three years, until one of my kids needed it. When I fired it up, I realized I'd forgotten the admin password (which they had told me when I picked it up years before). I messaged Absolute Repair on Facebook late on a Saturday night, asking for help. Within a half hour I had a response with the correct password. Stunning customer service. read more

This is a nice little one to two man shop tucked away in a small business complex. The gentleman, Allen was great! He offers quality service with a great price and fast turn around. My wife had her iPhone 8 Plus back glass repaired here. We dropped the phone off on Saturday around noon and he had it done by 3pm all while servicing 4 or 5 other requests. I highly recommend him Absolute Repair. read more

Wow ! Jack is amazing ! I needed a minor, minor, minor fix to my 22 year old computer (yes, that's right, 22 year old), and he helped me. AND, he did it as soon as I walked in the store. VERY few businesses are as kind and professional as Absolute Repair. I remember in the 1970's when businesses operated like Absolute Repair, and it's a blessing to know some people still really care about the customer. Just one little piece of info to share - it's in an office park, so you have to drive around to the back of the park to find them. But, they are on the ground level, so it's simple to park and carry your equipment in. read more

So disappointed!! The hours make it difficult to drop my laptop off for repair. I went in the evening and the guy said he wouldn't take it because they like getting things in the morning. I explained I had dropped it off a month ago and they couldn't figure out what the problem was so I explained that I had more information. He asked if the battery was replaced more than twice and I had to explain THEY replaced it! It was nice that he took a look at the computer but he sent me on my way and explained that I would have to come back the next morning and EXPLAIN AGAIN what he thought it might be to the morning tech. I miss the old owners! To be fair, I had my iPhone battery replaced there and it was done quickly and easily. It's just not reliable service. read more

Talked with Allen. Asked for a quote on monitor fix, turns out they don't. He was honest and friendly and gave a good advice.

I can't even begin to express how helpful, kind, and quick their services were to me yesterday! My phone had died for 3 days and I couldn't turn it back on. I had replaced the battery 6 months prior so I didn't think that was the issue. I tried everything and was prepared to need to purchase a new phone. The only issue was that I had nothing backed-up... I walked into Absolute Repair after a co-worked recommended it to me. I told them the issue. The guy was SO kind and helpful. He popped it open, and tried a new battery and within 5 minutes the whole thing was fixed. Some batteries are just faulty or go bad quicker than others! This saved me so much time - Apple would have taken my phone to be serviced for 5-7 business days and the next appointment to be seen was in 8 days! Absolute Repair only charged me $30! Kind, helpful, genuine, quick and affordable! Can't beat this place. I recommend it to anyone and everyone! read more

Jack fixed my PC issue but also gave great advice. Took my PC in on a friday morning and it was ready end of day. Long story short my computer was acting up. So he advised could fix but also recommended I upgrade my hard drive on my HP (about 3 years old and never been super fast) to solid state drive. So he copied all old hard drive to new drive and computer has never been so fast!!!! He also upgraded me from windows 7 to windows 10, built me a new Dell power plug with various attachments for other needs, and sold me external hard drive. GREAT SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE!!!! read more

I have used them for years for repairs on my Macs and can't recommend them enough! Very fair, reasonable and responsive.
