Based on my recent interactions with Absolute Repair, I cannot praise and recommend this place enough!! I recently was in need of getting my iPad Pro screen, iPhone battery + screen replaced. I originally bought the iPad Pro less half a year prior but cracked and damaged the screen. I brought it over to the Apple Store only to be told I can purchase a refurbished one for less than $600. I used one of the Yelp service locator system that allows receiving several quotes from multiple area vendors. I picked Alan's shop at Absolute Repair based on his promptness in response and accommodating nature. He gave me a very fair repair quote and was also willing to work with Amex so I could get reimbursement for repairs. When I had issues with the original repair, it was remedied right away. I was also touched by his willingness to arrive early that day to ensure the iPad screen was replaced so it works flawlessly again. When I returned to pick up my iPad, I went ahead and also got my iPhone 11 Pro Max repaired. He kept his promise that he would stop whatever task he is working on when I arrive so my phone battery can be also replaced. I was originally going to just have my battery replaced because my dogs were waiting in my car with the A/C on but door unlocked. When I had mentioned that to Alan, he let me bring in my pooches inside so I went ahead and got the screen replaced as well. Alan was also willing to carve out time to get both completed right there and then. How amazing! Before I left his shop again, Alan also placed a new screen protector on my phone so I don't get it dinged and scratched again! I stopped in on a weekday to have my Apple laptop repaired; it needed a new battery. The technician was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He gave me some pointers about using my laptop that I didn't even know about (i.e. using a specific version of Apple's update instead of the most recent update because it would not run as efficiently as the specific version). My stop in there was fast and efficient, with a reasonable price estimate given. I expected to not hear from them for several weeks, but actually got a call back within days that my laptop was ready. So I'll start off buy saying I have a IPhone 10 which even though it's 3 years old it's still in great condition. That made me very surprised to notice when i recorded a video frontwards & played it there was no sound. Update 12/14 my battery health has been crappy and took my phone in for Alan to replace the battery. It was very affordable and he completed the work very quickly (within 15 minutes). I had a nuisance problem with my iPhone 7 Plus charging/earbud port that seemed shorted out. The repair technician, Alan, was courteous, timely and communicated clearly every step of the way. They tried a quick easy free fix first and when that didn't work he very quickly and competently changed out the port. He even found a port that matched my device color, even though that doesn't really matter to me personally but as a consumer I appreciate that attention to detail. The price was competitive to what was quoted by other shops but not so low that you're leery that they may not know what they're doing. While there I noticed their in store advertising for some pretty great deals on refurbished Mac and iPhone devices so I'm pretty sure I'll be back to see them again before the summer is over. Yes. Yes to this business. Yes to Alan. I have an old MacBook. It needed a repair that was quoted to me from two different sources at $550. That didn't make sense for me to do because I can replace the computer for $450. Alan diagnosed the problem and provided transparent pricing on the repair (he showed me where to get the part and the pricing was $160.) with the part costing $160 he charged a flat $240 for the entire repair. So disappointed!! The hours make it difficult to drop my laptop off for repair. I went in the evening and the guy said he wouldn't take it because they like getting things in the morning. I explained I had dropped it off a month ago and they couldn't figure out what the problem was so I explained that I had more information. He asked if the battery was replaced more than twice and I had to explain THEY replaced it! It was nice that he took a look at the computer but he sent me on my way and explained that I would have to come back the next morning and EXPLAIN AGAIN what he thought it might be to the morning tech. I can't even begin to express how helpful, kind, and quick their services were to me yesterday! My phone had died for 3 days and I couldn't turn it back on. Jack fixed my PC issue but also gave great advice. Took my PC in on a friday morning and it was ready end of day. Long story short my computer was acting up. So he advised could fix but also recommended I upgrade my hard drive on my HP (about 3 years old and never been super fast) to solid state drive. So he copied all old hard drive to new drive and computer has never been so fast!!!!
