Jack fixed my PC issue but also gave great advice. Took my PC in on a friday morning and it was ready end of day. Long story short my computer was acting up. So he advised could fix but also recommended I upgrade my hard drive on my HP (about 3 years old and never been super fast) to solid state drive. So he copied all old hard drive to new drive and computer has never been so fast!!!! He also upgraded me from windows 7 to windows 10, built me a new Dell power plug with various attachments for other needs, and sold me external hard drive. GREAT SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE!!!! read more

At the risk of sounding cliche, if I could give Absolute Repair more than 5 stars, I would! This was my first time ever getting a phone repaired, so I wanted to make sure I went to an expert. Most of the businesses I contacted through Yelp charged a fee just to assess the phone, but Absolute Repair doesn't work that way. Alan quickly replied to my inquiry, said he'd take a look at it for FREE and only charge me if he ended up working on it. So, naturally, I took all eight iPhones to Alan with issues ranging from cracked screens to those not powering on due to water damage. First off, he was honest about which ones were worth fixing and which weren't. He was also candid about not being able to guarantee that those with water damage wouldn't have issues ever again, as water damage can be unpredictable. All in all, he replaced five screens. One of the screens malfunctioned a few days later and he promptly replaced it without hesitation. Alan is the real deal. He answered all of my questions (and I had a lot), never pressured me into getting anything fixed and his prices were more than fair. What more can you ask for? This place is no good. I brought my laptop in for repair to ALAN and apparently something was wrong with my hard drive. He removed the operating system (Microsoft word) he said for me to come back so he could put it back on there. My laptop is now running worse. I've tried calling this man several times and he will not pick up my call. Please stay away from this place! read more

If you're reading reviews and trying to decide where to take your laptop, don't waste any more time looking elsewhere! I had a 9 yr old computer w many pics and files I wanted to keep, but the machine was beyond slow. A friend suggested I get a few new drives and he would help me, but his intentions were better than his guidance. Jack cleaned up the whole mess, went above and beyond what was expected in servicing the laptop (HP Envy). The was a slight miscommunication (99% most likely on my end), but he and Alan were extremely gracious, and Jack gave me a break on the correct component that I needed. I am amazed how fast it runs now, I didn't think that it was possible! I feel very fortunate that I took my computer here, and it's nice to know I have a great shop just 15 min from me! My iPhone 6S was running slow so I came here to find out about getting my battery replaced. There was another customer being helped, but the wait was only a couple of minutes. The employee Eric checked my phone and found that my battery was actually above 80% health, and my phone was likely just slow because there wasn't much free storage space. I called the big box stores for quotes, as my iPhone 6 battery was week and screen shattered. All quotes were well over $150. So I googled 'iPhone repair' with my zip code. Several hits, but Absolute Repair stood out because of the great reviews. So I called and Alan answered. He said $100, and that includes a life time warranty for the battery. So I came by after work, and the battery and screen were replaced within 20 minutes. Very professional. I also asked for a screen protector, which he also sold me at a good price and put it on. And that also comes with his warranty: if it gets scratched up, bring it back for a new one. And as with the battery, no receipt needed. A very stand-up business!!!! Also, I am very happy to support a 'Mom and Pop' business over a big box. I was VERY pleased with the service I received at Absolute Repair. Owner Allen explained my problem clearly and neither got too technical nor talked down to me. He offered a very reasonable estimate before he started work on anything, and kept me up to date on progress, even offering to come in early/stay late if I couldn't come pick it up any other time. A key fell off my MacBook, which I use for work. Both Best Buy and the Apple Store indicated it would be an ordeal to first order the key and then at least a full day, if not more, to replace it. ***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE Of course my daughter dropped her ipad 2 days before vacation which cracked the screen. I called around, and decided to take the ipad to Alan at Absolute Repair. I dropped the ipad off that day, and made plans to pick it up the following day. I received a call from Alan letting me know the ipad was ready for pick up, and headed to the store. During our call Alan had asked if I was having any charging issues with the pad which I informed I had not. He said that he was having problems with the pad keeping a charge for longer than 2 hours. When I arrived at the store he handed me the ipad, and I was set to go, however I questioned the issue with the charge. He plugged it in to a device to show me the amount of charge the pad was "pulling". Upon doing so I realized that the pad was not mine. When I informed him of this he questioned me asking am I sure that my child did not accidentally take a friends ipad. I told him that I was sure that it was her ipad as before bringing it in the previous day I had taken it out of her case in the car before heading into the store. He kept asking me if I was sure. I WAS SURE. This preempted a search around the store for MY ipad. When trying to figure out who's ipad he had fixed resulted in no trace of the name in their system he, and his team where completely lost in figuring out not only where my ipad was, but who's was fixed. The place was a wreck with work order tickets, and parts everywhere. After about 15 minutes they were able to locate my pad, however they did not know where the "home" key was that apparently is specific to each ipad. I knew when I choose this location to fix the pad that he only had 1 ipad air screen in stock. I then questioned that if that the was the only screen he had, and used it to fix the wrong pad what was the next step. He said that he would call a friend/ other stores to see if he could locate a screen, or would put a black screen on mine and change it out when we returned from vacation. I asked if he was sure it could be fixed he answered "I don't see why not". I trusted that he would come through. I checked in periodically throughout the afternoon on the progress and was informed it would be finished before close at 6pm. I called again at 5:20 to check in again. Apparently Alan left for the day and was not able to fix the pad. I spoke with an employee who was at a loss of what to tell me. At first I got upset with him, but realized that my anger is misguided as Alan is the owner and the one who was responsible to fix the ipad. I asked that Alan call me back so I did not have to play the telephone game with the young man. The worker called me back and told me that they would replace my pad with a new one. I told him that would be fine. After hanging up the phone I called back to confirm that the new ipad purchased would be of the same caliber including storage space as mine, and offered to go purchase the ipad and save the receipt for reimbursement. At this point I was told that Alan said "I can't afford to buy a new pad". This gave me the impression that he was going to try to pass off a used/ refurbished pad in place of my pad which I told the worker was unacceptable. I again asked that Alan call me directly. I also asked him to please not leave the store which was closing in the next 10 minutes without getting back to me as I needed the pad for our vacation as we were traveling with another family who had multiple kids with pads, and did not want my daughter to be without one. GUESS WHAT...NO CALL BACK. When I called I received the company voicemail. No call back from Alan. Fast forward a week to when I return from vacation. NOT 1 CALL THE ENTIRE WEEK I WAS GONE. I call the store and speak with Alan who is clueless on who I am. Once I give him the rundown on why I'm calling we are on the same page again. He informs that the ipad screen has been replaced, but there is something wrong with battery which he is not willing to fix as he did not like our past transaction. HE'S NOT WILLING TO WORK WITH ME. HOW ABOUT I'M NOT WILLING TO WORK WITH YOU EVER AGAIN!! Also how odd that both the incorrect ipad that was fixed, and mine had the same charging issue. PRETTY SKETCHY!! I have the ipad back and the screen is fixed, but I'll be taking it somewhere, ANYWHERE else to fix the battery problem which did not exist when I dropped it off. read more
