Ata and his team are probably the most knowledgeable and sincere group of people I have ever spoken with in regards to my car. H+Not only did he help install an awesome set of subs for my car, but he gave me a few options and educated me on why he suggested one thing over another. After all was said and done, my car sounded great and I drove off without a broken wallet. Will definitely be recommending all my friends to the shop. read more

Didn't have anything installed, but the customer service on the sales side is excellent. The owner met me (a first time customer) outside of normal business hours, 2 hours after they normally close, to get me a product I purchased that I would have otherwise have had to wait a week to pick up. Would definitely recommend to others, and will be using their services in the future. read more

If I could, I would give this business 10 stars!! I brought my new car to them because the factory radio was minimal, and I wanted more function. The new radio was a big improvement, but in the end it didn't work properly. Ata asked me to bring the car back, and he replaced it with a more expensive unit, but didn't charge me a penny more! Now I'm in love with my car radio, thanks to the outstanding customer service of Absolute Electronix. Ata, the owner, and his staff, including Chris, Rudy and Hector are a fantastic team. They're knowledgeable and extremely customer oriented! read more

Got my speakers installed with no problems. Will come again to get an amp installed sometime in the future.

Although I bet they do good work, I will never know. They do not so mobile installs, and will not even ball park a quote over the phone, period for a head unit swap. This isn't brain surgery, I have done it before, and will do it again myself or bring the car elsewhere where I know at least a little bit of the pricing scheme before spending my time to visit. Thanks and good luck! read more

Ata did a great job installing a new head unit and amp in my car. The wires were run out of sight and it looks great. They've also got some great custom fabrication skills you can see in their other customers' cars. read more

Super helpful, really took the time to understand my issue. They executed a tricky installation flawlessly. Real pros!

These guys did a great job installing a cell phone Smart Start remote starter on my car. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpfull throughout the process. Price was competitive too. I will definitely be back if I need any other work done. read more

Great service. Dropped it off and ready when promised. Remote start works great. Thanks Jim read more

So my poor 'older model' Honda was totaled..... Ata to the rescue to retrieve all of the electronics he had installed! Of course he's amazing - he reinstalled it in my new 'almost-as-old older model' Acura! read more

Very rude customer service. He dont know even how to talk with people. Shut down ur business man if u dont know how to talk. NEVER EVER GO AT THIS PLACE. read more

I wanted a remote starter installed on my 2001 Honda CR-V. Price was fair and job took a reasonable amount to complete. Having gotten a fair price and quality work i ended up taking my second vehicle a 2002 Mazda MPV to also have a remote starter installed, once again the price was fair and had a great customer service. Highly recommend Absolute Electronix for anyone looking to get a remote starter. read more

Found Absolute here on Yelp, and it was a great choice. I wanted to cobble together several pieces to improve the audio in a JK Wrangler and add iPhone/iPod capability. I made an appointment, work started on time was done within time estimate. In addition, due to MOPAR's poor dash design, they called before starting what would have a much bigger job - I elected no, and they cut the estimate. So great work, top notch customer service, and a very fair price; plus now my iPod tunes sound great! Planning to return for some work on on a 91 Chevy truck system. read more

I wanted to be able to use my iPod in the car. My Toyota had a DVD based nav system. Updated DVDs were around $170--can use my phone for directions much cheaper! Chris, the manager, suggested a new audio system for me that was reasonable in price. The tech who installed it was fantastic. He even suggested I hold onto the factory installed system in case I eventually wanted to sell my car and the buyer wanted original parts. Nine months later, I had a minor problem with the new system. I went to AE and Chris tried his best to fix it and eventually said they would order me a replacement. When the replacement arrived, it only took about 5 minutes to pop in the new one. I have recommended AE to friends for their many services. read more

I stopped by here on a whim to ask about having a new Bluetooth installed in my 2006 mercury mariner. They quoted me a reasonable price completed the work on time as promised and did a great job! Very professional! read more

Awesome. That sums it up. I could stop there. Great, excellent sounding less expensive car stereos to systems that are very high-end and of audiophile quality. Lots of options. Expert in what they do (they have won many national awards for their car stereo expertise). They will not let you walk out the door unless you are 100% satisfied. I can't say enough good things about this store. Highly recommended. (Yes, I did leave this review elsewhere but wanted to make sure it shows up on Yelp, as well. I owe it to these guys. They go above and beyond and are the definition of great customer service.) read more

I was having problems picking out good sounding door speakers. I installed aftermarket speakers myself, but they ended up sounding worse than the stock ones. I wanted something loud. Loud enough so that I could hear every note, while cruising, with the windows down on the highway. I wasn't very familiar on how to pair up stock stereo with aftermarket equipment. They offered Great products, and I ended up getting more things than just door speakers. Good customer service. Told me exactly what I needed. The place is pretty small, hard to see from the street, and very low key. Not much of a waiting area, except for the tv with satellite control. But when It comes to me getting things done for my car, I don't expect to be sitting on a red velvet chair and served champagne. I will most certainly come back and highly recommend Thank you so much, car sounds impeccable! read more

I had my stereo head unit replaced in my 2007 Acura MDX which requires a custom dash kit. They did a wonderful job making the double din stereo look OEM. They recommended me the Pioneer avh-2300nex and I am very happy with it. It's really a night and day difference on sound quality and rich features comparing to OEM. Highly recommended by a very satisfied customer! read more

These guys were just awesome. I wanted to get a backup camera installed in my car and spent months trying find out a reasonable deal. I stumbled upon Absolute Elextronix and went for free consulting. The tech gave me several options on types of the hardware. The price they quoted me was just astoundingly reasonable seeing what other vendors had given me. Professional and courteous. 10/10, would go for their service again. read more

These guys are EXPERTS. And great service at reasonable prices. I've had two audio systems put in. Nothing over the top but needed upgrades. They provided great options and guided me through them. Really happy with everything they did for me. Professional shop. Their work is very clean and careful. Made sure I was buying what made sense for me. Bought a radio-CD player unit from these guys. A couple of months later the CD was malfunctioning. When I took it in for repair it would not 'act-up'. Chris went ahead and replaced the whole unit....no charge Excellent customer service...great workmanship read more

left a deposit for a job, then couldn't get an appointment for a month. Installed speakers and they sound like crap. Headunit keeps shutting off. Stay Away from that place as far as possible. They refuse to fix the issue. read more

DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS! At least for car audio installments, I had a 2000 watt system installed in my car, keep in mind that as the consumer I dont have a substantial amount of knowledge about audio systems that you would think these guys would. After returning to my car about an hour and a half later the guy was just finishing up, I had mentioned to him that the 12" subs he had just installed didnt sound good at all, or that they werent hitting like they were supposed to. His only response was "thats all I can do". WOW seriously bro! He had no intention on trying to help me adjust the amplifier settings or my HU settings to get the right sound. After my personal research a few days later I had realized that the settings that he did adjust on my amp actually would"ve caused damage to my subs eventually (Thank God for the internet) read more

Absolute Electronix did an amazing job on my car. The staff was excellent. The owner of the company, Ata, was absolutely a pleasure working with. They went above and beyond for me. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! Excellent service!! read more

After neck fusion, I needed to have a camera system installed on my RAM truck and travel trailer. I purchased the system from another source and had Ata and his team install the system. The original monitor was found to be defective during the installation and to my surprise, Ata, the owner, worked with both the manufacturer and the out-of-state company from who I bought the system to troubleshoot and replace the monitor. Once the new monitor was received, the installation was completed and worked great. Due to the professionalism and expertise of Absolute Electronix, I purchased additional camera systems from Ata for my two remaining vehicles. I will only trust Ata and his crew if I need additional work done on any of my vehicles. read more

I was looking to improve upon the sound from my car's (horrible sound from 2016 WRX) stock head unit and Ata took his time to go over options, quoting the work at a fair price. Ata did not attempt to push high end only equipment, but he showed me (and sampled) several options at various price points and left it at that. The attention to detail on the install was excellent, something I am very particular on. Wiring under the hood looks factory-good, and nothing inside the car's interior shows evidence that install work had been done. I will be revisiting in the near future for a remote start. Thank you ATA and the crew at Absolute Electronix! -Nick read more

Another 5 star experience! One of my speakers was cutting out intermittently. Ata and Chris figured it out and fixed it in no time. These guys are knowledgeable and professional. read more

Finally broke down after months of "suggestions" and bought a flip-down DVD player for my SUV. Installation went well and the unit looked great and sounded great too. Upon testing it on the highway for the first time, my snobbish ears heard some white noise in the background of the Alpine wireless headphones - my wife didn't notice and my three-year-old couldn't have cared less. I took it back to Chris and after figuring out that the Infrared can be dicey if you are in the front seat or tucked in the backseat by the window, we realized it wasn't the best sounding system but was more than fine. Still, the FM transmitter seemed off and the team ended up installing an audio cable connecting the DVD player to my AUX input. They did it for free because of the hassle I had in coming back before my vacation. While the unit I bought might be two or three stars, the team installing it gets a five. read more

Had a remote start installed, owner was very nice on the phone but in person he was very rude. Didn't give instructions on how the system operated. When I got home I thought there was a problem because my car was Turing it self on an off. I called ATA the owner the next day, explained to him I was having issues an he stated bring the car back, I don't want to deal with your issues an ill rip my stuff out an give your money back. I asked do u not want to look at it an try an fix it an he stared NO, an hung up. I took my car to another place in Baltimore the next day an found out the device was installed ok but I needed to do a couple steps after remote starting the vehicle an he did not explain that at all. This shop in Gaithersburg is very small, In a warehouse. No waiting area an in a bad neighborhood. Very getto an not professional. The wait time took forever also just to even get my car looked at the first time. Won't go back that's for sure. read more

I was having issues with my current sound system. I have a aftermarket amp and stereo unit on my BMW 328i. After extensive online search for car audio installation place, I came across Absolute Electronix. I went on a great day too (Black Friday). I was able to purchase a JL audio amp and Gladen woofers for a great price. I received great service from Chris and his team. I am now enjoying great quality sound. The end result is better than I had hoped for. It sounds great. I would recommend this place for all audio video needs. read more

Good store. This review is based on the "boss" of the store, who I worked with primarily. I read good reviews here on yelp so I called to see if they could fit me in same day during the holiday season (New Years Day) for a new radio. They said they were busy but could squeeze me in. So I took my lady there because her radio has been broken for a year. They suggested to take a look at her radio first to potentially save a lot of money and fix it for $30. If they couldn't, we could use that $30 towards a new radio. The end result was her radio had a malfunction which they showed us first before moving forward. Within an hour, we had a new and better radio which was $200 and an $80 installation fee. The "boss" gave us the radio for $120, and only $40 for the installation! Crazy! What a good person! Saved me a lot of money! They showed us how to work this awesome radio and my lady and I left very happy and pleased, especially her! I highly reccomend this store for audio purposes. read more

By far the best car stereo shop around. I've had multiple head units, alarms, remote starts, backup camera, window tint, and probably some other things I'm forgetting installed by Ata and Absolute Electronix over the years. He even did a full trunk in my Integra back in the 90s. Don't go to Best Buy. Support a local business. Their work ethic, sales advice and personal attention to detail is unparalleled. I live 90 minutes away but I won't take my cars to anyone else. read more

This was my first time at Absolute Electronix. I had a new radio and backup camera installed in my car. I just love the work that they did! Everyone was so nice. This place is great. We recently bought a used minivan, and we wanted a backup camera installed since it didn't come with one. I purchased one on Amazon and then found that none of the shops near us could install it. Ata and Mark were recommended by a friend in the business. When I got there they showed me a camera that they had in stock, which turned out to be better (and cheaper) than the one I purchased. I really appreciated the time they took in going over the options with me. The work was done quickly and perfectly, no problems. I even got a follow up call the next day to make sure we were satisfied. Considering that these guys don't seem to have much competition, they still make customer service a real priority! read more

The guys at AE installed a new radio in my ancient car to bring it into the 21st century (bluetooth, auxillary input, USB charging, etc). They really took the time to listen to what I wanted and then found me a unit that fit the bill. No upselling or trying to get me to buy more than I wanted/needed. I got an open box / nearly new unit for almost 50% off. Installation was quick and very professionally done. They even apologized for a slight clicking sound when turning the radio off due to issues with my existing (old) amplifier - I doubt I would have even noticed it myself but appreciated the honesty. All in all - very highly recommended. read more

Excellent personalized service. I have no clue about car audio systems, but the original car stereo in my 13 y/o Toyota Avalon was basically unusable due to a blown subwoofer and lots of rattles. I saw the great reviews of Absolute Electronix on Yelp and decided to go there. It is a small shop in an automotive strip mall. Chris helped me pick out a great system based on my listening habits. There was definitely no 'hard sell'. The installation was customized and clean. These guys really seem to know and care about cars and it shows. After the install, Chris sat with me and went over the system and made sure I was happy. read more
