DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. This all started 3 years ago. It was a straightforward PCV, thermostat replacement job. It's the easiest job ever if you know what you're doing for Audi. The owner seem nice, the shop is clean. Had a good review on yelp, so I went. LITTLE DID I KNOW THE NIGHTMARE THAT I HAD TO ENDURE FOR THE NEXT 3 YEARS!!! There was a leak in the coolant pipe. They replaced it, everything seem fine. two days later, pool of coolant in the garage floor. Went took the car back, and they said they installed the pipe wrong. They replaced it. I thought that was it. Over the next 3 years, I went to 5 different shops to fix the issues with coolant leaking. Long story short, S2Dynamics have cut all corners. They totally destroyed the thread on the block. Instead of telling me, they cut the OEM screw, and forced the coolant bolt into the block, which started to leak slowly, then eventually come out just enough to leak heavily, which took 3 years to figure out. I had to get a retired machinist to come and fix the thread for $1200!!! otherwise it was a total dissemble job, including pulling the engine out! IF YOU GO HERE, you may have to go through what I went through. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP. I am in the process of getting a lawyer to sue this place. It cost me $12,000 + and 3 years to fix this issue that they screwed up. read more

They offer contactless payment and pickup. So you don't have to rush before they close. They text you a link for your invoice and payment. This is a mixed review and I immediately called Pat when I viewed my dashcam video. I went here to get tires installed on my BMW after I went somewhere else a week before to get new tires installed on another car. The other place has "tire" in its name and the other place scratched my wheels. So, I wanted a good place I could trust that handles luxury German cars and found S2 Dynamics online. I have a dashcam installed and it isn't hidden, it's right next to the rearview mirror. Pat told the tech to do a good job on my car with the wheels/tires. The installation seems like it was good. I didn't take it on the highway yet to check the balance, but visually good with NO wheel scratches. After the install, the tech went on a "test drive," but I am not sure why one is needed for tire replacement with new premium tires. The wheel balancer should be able to capture most of the issues with new tires as well as visual inspection. Well, a test drive at the speed limit (30mph) should be fine for any noises on brand new tires. My BMW has the N55 turbo engine. The day's temp was about 42F and I live 3 mins away. I gave the car to them with the engine still cold according to my oil temp gauge (mine has oil temp). Two hours later after the install was done, the tech took my car with the cold engine & cold oil and right away he pushed it while driving the "test drive." In the dashcam video, you can see how fast he was driving as he quickly caught up to normal light traffic, appearing he was going twice the speed limit. You can even see he pushed it more speeding up to beat a red light. All of this on a cold engine. Again, this is a mixed review. Pat was nice and genuine. However, selecting and managing the techs is part of the business. I may go back, but next time there is a "test drive," I will ask that I sit shotgun. read more

I have a unicorn, one of only 175 Q5 Audi 3.0 with Sazuka Grey paint made in 2017. I bought it used after it had been on a 2-year lease. Has the supercharger (not the turbo), Technology package, Black Optic package, S-Line Competition Plus package... Fully loaded and essentially an SQ5 but only 272HP instead of 354HP and without the heftier SQ5 price tag. A check engine light came on after 85000 miles. Dealer couldn't take me for over a week so did a Yelp search for Audi and came across S2 Dynamics who made an appointment for the next morning. They were knowledgeable, informative and explained what they suspected the problem might be. After the diagnostics results, they were exactly right on what they thought it would be (PCV valve) and then took the time to walk me through what they planned to do and what it would cost. Although an expensive repair - pull the supercharger to R&R PCV, water pump, thermostat and clean off extensive carbon buildup under the intake manifold. It was expensive but still more than a thousand less than the dealer estimate. I spent $2600 whereas the dealer would have been between $3400-$3800 and my Audi was back in less than two days and is running like a champ again. I love my Audi and so far am impressed with S2 Dynamics and have found a reputable shop for future maintenance and repairs. read more

Owning a BMW can be expensive to maintain but after finding this repair shop it has been very reasonable. I work nearby and they customer service and professionalism are top notch. I have been taking my 535ix to them for about 3 years and they never try to over sell service work that isn't needed. They explain every thing clearly and let me know what is critical and what can wait once they do their inspections. I have had my car for about 7 years and have kept it well maintained so to find a repair shop that is knowledgeable and reasonably prices is important. Back in early April, two weeks after dealing with a tuner at this company called Speed Tuning LLC, I started to have a few complications with my car. After a google search I decided to reach out to S2 Dynamics, seeing as they had spectacular reviews. I spoke with Pat, and I told him what the situation was and what symptoms my car was having. Alone from his composure, I could tell he was knowledgeable and experienced. Pat and his team were able to properly diagnose my issues. He told me what modifications I needed for my tuned Audi A4 and I've been going back to him ever since. From then on whenever I got my car worked on, wether it was for a upgraded part, or preventative maintenance, these guys have taken great care of my car. They're thorough, and it shows. S2 Dynamics isn't here to rob you for every dollar you have and scam you. All their products are top of the line. The only other place I would maybe consider taking my car to would be a certified Audi dealership, but even then, these guys give you the same, if not, definitely better quality work at a lower price than Audi. The last time I was here.. For a simple oil change, let's say everything was almost perfect. I was told one of my indicator lights was not working (which I checked the week before) so I was skeptical. It was only 5/10$ to get it changed so I said ok and asked for the fused bulb when I got home. The technician later back and asked me for the bulb so he could confirm he was not mistaken, 5 minutes later he came back and told me I would find out the bulb was dead, but also he "accidentally" dropped it and broke it while bringing it back from my car. Shady work and I don't really trust them at this time. I currently go to Aktiv Automotive who are very nice (just as the people here), and more transparent as I can see my car as work is also being done on it to verify shady stories like this. Wow, where do I start? I came to this shop because of a recommendation from someone since they specialize in European cars & I needed my Mini Cooper serviced as soon as possible. I make an appointment with this shop & they do a scan of my car to figure out the issue. They tell me to come back in about a week because they need to order the part that I needed replaced. I reach out to the shop to let them know they day i would be coming in, so that they're aware & have the part needed to fix my car. Well I get to the shop for my appointment, after 3 hours of sitting in their waiting room, the receptionist comes out & tells me they actually ordered the wrong part & can't fix my car today, but I should come back another day. The receptionist had no empathy or regard for my time being wasted that day and he was just trying to send me along out the door. Confused & a bit frustrated, I then ask them what I need & why the right part wasn't secured before I make an hour drive to come get my car serviced since they knew in advance that I was coming. The receptionist looked at me dumbfounded & had no real explanation of the mishap. I then speak with Pat (the backend manager) who explains that they don't check to make sure they have received the right parts for a customer's car until the time they work on it, very irresponsible on their end. So because they didn't do their due diligence and had the wrong part sitting for 2 weeks without checking to make sure it was the right part for my car, they couldn't service my car & wasted 3 hours of my day, in which I took the day off of work to come their anyway. Pat lacked remorse for the incident and even knew they made a mistake and knew they should have checked to make sure everything was good to go, being as though he was the manager I expected much more from him besides excuses. After talking with Pat he confirms that since it was their mistake then he would provide a discount for my service & even agreed to come pick up my car & tow it to the shop when it was ready to be serviced, they would just have to order the correct part which could take another week. I agreed & had no problem with that bc I didn't know any other shops that could fix my car. That same day after leaving disappointed Pat texts me & gives me the details of the correct part needed & told me h could only provide me with a 10% discount because "parts are expensive" - not taking into account that I just missed a whole day of work and wasted an hour of gas getting there, gas is expensive sir, so what are you saying. As a business you must take accountability for your mistakes and use great customer service to make things right with your customers. I said "okay" to his text though bc I still was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt to allow them to service my car. Well my text message receives no response, so the next day I text him to follow up and confirm all the details discussed, no response again. So I then call to speak with Pat, but his incompetent receptionist tells me he's busy and promised he will call me back later in the day, I received no callback or follow up text from Pat. A couple days pass and I realize that the part should be coming in soon so I wanted to confirm everything was still a go, so I decide to call and I have to leave a voicemail. I call the next day again and have to leave a voicemail again. After awhile of being frustrated and confused I realized that I shouldn't be because this business showed me the unprofessional side of them from the beginning but I let it slide. S2 Dynamics lacks accountability, customer service skills, professionalism and reliability. Luckily, I was able to find a much more professional running shop that specializes in European cars in the PG County area closer to me. I ended up going to the new shop and after a diagnosis they found that I didn't even need the part that this shop was trying to tell me I needed.
