Hameed responded quickly and came out shortly after I contacted him. During the inspection, he not only identified the issue I had noticed but also pointed out a few preventative maintenance items that could become problems down the road. What I really appreciated was that Hameed was able to handle both the roofing work and the fascia and soffit repairs, which saved me a lot of hassle of finding other company to work on fascia. His team repaired the damaged shingles, replaced the ridge caps, and fixed the fascia and soffit, all with excellent workmanship and 5 years warrenty. Throughout the entire process, Hameed took the time to answer all of my questions and explain everything clearly. He is professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about doing the job right. I highly recommend Hameed to anyone needing roofing repairs or related exterior work, and I would not hesitate to contact him again for any future roofing projects.

Thorough, professional, and methodical roof maintenance…read more I hired OneRoofing to perform a preventative maintenance service on my 2004 concrete tile roof for my single family two-story home. The total cost for this service was $1,800 (inclusive of taxes). The scope of work included replacing aging plumbing vent boot flashings, resealing and / or reinforcing existing ridge cap joints, and applying new professional-grade sealant to any vulnerable areas identified during the roof inspection. From the beginning, their process was well-structured. They provided a detailed proposal following a drone-facilitated inspection of the roof, and they honored my request to have a technician conduct an internal attic inspection during the service visit to verify the condition of the roof decking and underlayment. The work itself was executed efficiently. They focused on high-risk failure points--specifically the vent boots--and provided clear photographic documentation of the work before, during, and after the process. The repair work was performed cleanly, and they removed all debris upon completion. Regarding value, I think the $1,800 overall cost seemed consistent with current Bay Area professional trade rates for this type of specialized roofing service. OneRoofing included a five-year workmanship warranty, but only after I asked about it, which is something they should be more upfront about instead of customers needing to ask. This workmanship warranty is specific to the preventative maintenance and repair work they performed. If you are looking for a roofing company that utilizes modern inspection technology, follows a clearly defined scope of work, is very transparent and responsive in their communication, and provides comprehensive documentation of their repairs, I would certainly recommend OneRoofing.

From the very beginning, Ethan, Michael, Oscar, Belmonda and the entire team stood out because of their transparency, honesty, and genuine care. They took the time to educate us about our roof and pointed out issues and considerations that other roofing companies never even mentioned. We truly felt that they cared about our family and our home, regardless of whether we chose them for the project. The communication before and during the project was exceptional. Every team member knew their role, and everyone worked together like a symphony. The entire process was organized, professional, and efficient. Most importantly, the finished roof looks absolutely amazing. No construction project is completely without challenges, and we did experience a few mishaps along the way. What impressed us most was how Ethan and the team handled them. They took responsibility, communicated openly, and worked diligently to make things right. That level of accountability speaks volumes about their honor, integrity, and professionalism. Their responsiveness and commitment to resolving issues demonstrated exactly why they are such a trustworthy, reliable, and dependable company. As a homeowner, those qualities matter just as much as the quality of the work itself. The genuine care they bring to their customers and their craft is what truly sets them apart. I have already recommended Symplify Roofing to one of my neighbors who is dealing with a roof leak, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing company. If you're looking for a team that combines expertise, honesty, communication, and outstanding customer service, Symplify Roofing is the company to call.

As a private-residence house manager in the Bay Area, I take contractor referrals very seriously. I…read moreroutinely test contractors on my own home before considering referring them to my clients. After obtaining six bids for my roof replacement, I narrowed the choice down to three and ultimately selected Golden Grove Roofing & Construction. Unfortunately, that decision turned out to be a major disappointment. During the initial consultation, my retired contractor neighbor and I specifically explained to the project manager that the attic contained wood slats and would require new plywood. Unlike the other contractors who physically inspected the attic, the project manager chose to rely on satellite imagery rather than verifying the condition himself. I also requested a final phone call before the project began so we could review these details, but that request was not addressed. Once the roof was torn off, I was presented with a $4,900 change order for plywood--the exact work we had discussed before the project began. I was told this was necessary only after the roof was already open, leaving me with very little practical choice. The project manager initially seemed to approach the issue as though insurance would be paying for it. When I explained that I was paying out of pocket and that the unexpected cost was significantly impacting my budget, his approach changed. At that point, however, I was already committed with an open roof and had to proceed. The site management was another major concern. I was told the project manager would be on-site frequently, but my home security cameras showed that he was rarely present. On multiple occasions, I received photos that appeared to have been taken by the crew rather than during his own site visits. More concerning, my cameras also captured members of the crew taking what appeared to be excessively long breaks and drinking beer in my backyard during the workday. That is completely unacceptable behavior at a client's private residence and raised serious concerns about professionalism and supervision. There were additional issues as well. A relatively small roofing project that was initially estimated at 2-3 days ultimately took five days. On one occasion, I left work early specifically to meet the project manager to collect payment, only for him to arrive late. I selected Golden Grove Roofing & Construction because of their strong reviews and because I was hoping to establish a relationship that could potentially lead to significant future business and referrals. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the professional standard I require from contractors working on my own home, let alone contractors I would recommend to clients. Between the unexpected $4,900 change order for work that had been discussed beforehand, the lack of consistent project management, the behavior of the crew, and the extended timeline, this was a very disappointing experience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Golden Grove Roofing & Construction.

This is a long review, sorry. To cut to the chase, I am very happy with NC Roofing and the job they…read moredid and recommend them. Now on to the review. My roof was new over 40 years ago when I bought my house from my grandparents. To put it mildly, it was time for a new roof. I lost a few pieces of shingle last winter but thankfully I had no leaks. My grandfather got his moneys worth. I interviewed four roofing contractors, and it came down to NC Roofing and one other. Ido Haviv came out and walked me through what NC Roofing offered and what was available. In addition to having the shingles replaced, my house also needed some facia board replaced, some of the tongue and groove eave boards also had water damage and new gutters were badly needed. Ido said they could do all that and also pointed out that all of the facias should be trimmed back to help prevent future water damage. NC Roofing could also offer the new gutters in any color I needed to match the trim on my house. Nice. No painting. Ido also suggested that I put in a roof ridge vent. This is a vent that runs along the ridge peak and helps keep the attic cool by convection currents. I looked it up online and figured I would try it since my house gets really hot in the summer. I found that Ido and NC Roofing had worked with the company that remodeled my bathroom two years ago. I made a quick call to the project manager for the bathroom, and she said that they used NC Roofing on many of their projects and had high praise for them. That sealed the deal for using NC Roofing. The project went pretty fast. The first day they had stripped the old roof and repaired the couple of areas of sub roof that needed replacing. The GAF Weatherwatch underlayment was also started the first day. The next day the GAF Tiger Paw roof deck went on and shingles started appearing. Third day saw the rest of the shingles and the ridge vent appear. All of the new vents and metal valleys were installed and painted to match the color of the shingles to help tie everything together color wise. New facia was installed and painted. I supplied the paint for them before the project started. They also painted all of the tongue and groove eave boards as well. I went with the GAF Timberline HDZ RS shingles. They have a warranty that will outlive me. House looks great. They were essentially finished with the whole project in four days. The only hangup was getting the city inspector out to sign off on it. It passed just fine. The inspector said he was seeing more ridge vents being installed and thought it was a pretty good idea. Cleanup was good. They protected my koi pond during demo. I have only found 4 nails that they missed. Not bad considering the nails were in the rock in the backyard. Two complaints. Both constructive criticisms. First, needed better communication from the crew as to arrival times in the morning. and second, when they do the ridge vent, they have to cut a 1 1/2-inch-wide slot on either side of the ridge. This is not a problem for the ridge over the attic but for the garage it can get a bit messy. I was not informed when they would cut the ridge vent for the garage so I was unable to throw a tarp over some of my electronic equipment I have out there. No damage done but it would have been nice to be able to cover it. All in all, I am very happy with NC Roofing, their crew and the job they did. A shout out to Ido Haviv and Raveh Saenger for their help as project managers.
