The last time we were here was 11 years ago and the restaurant still lives up to it. The staff is friendly and easy to communicate with. We got a paella, steak and potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection. There's lots of seats but no AC. So it's a bit warm. The view of the city is beautiful too!

The restaurants located at the top of the tower ensure you dine while taking in amazing views. We wanted to enjoy lunch while taking in the beautiful Barcelona sights, but most places were not as affordable. We almost lost hope when we stumbled onto them. We asked the hostess if we would be able to split a menu of the day, because we wouldn't be able to eat one each alone. After some thinking it over, we thought they were sure to say no, but they welcomed us with friendly smiles. Seated inside was just as delightful, as the decor created an intimate ambiance. We ordered the beef, croquette, squid ink paella (small up-charge), and the white chocolate mousse; plus adding on glasses of wine. The beef was a massive plate of meat. I can't imagine how the plate was designed for one. Perfect thin cuts, sprinkled with cheese and oil, each bit made us go mmmh outloud! The croquette was stuffed with a delightful cheese seafood shredded tuna or crab mixture-the meat took over, giving a hearty flavor profile. The black in seafood paella is a dish I will remember for awhile, as the burst of flavor was so delightful. A fresh taste, the rice was well cooked, not dry-with spinach and other fresh seasonings sprinkled throughout. The middle had a mound of seafood, fresh buttery scallops, calamari chunks, and shrimp. The white chocolate mouse had a delightful granola crumble at the bottom, which made the dish! On top of all the niceties of the manager allowing us to split a dish meant for one or charged for two-he brought us extra croquettes and complimentary glasses of Cava. It was a wonderfully welcoming experience. A definite must-dine!

Waiting with security while they check the video cameras at the restaurant. There was no customer service, they acted like we were guilty.

We had a fine meal the service was adequate. We were the last ones in the restaurant, my son and my wife went to the bathroom and we left and when we came down the elevator we were confronted by security. The restaurant accused us of stealing somebody's iPhone and we were escorted back upstairs to the restaurant on the top of the building we were at and detained for about 30 minutes while they had to look through security video, not being able to prove anything, They not speaking English Us very little Spanish. Americans on vacation.

This restaurant is located at the top of the Arenas de Barcelona so you can enjoy views of the city. The restaurant is nice. It has a contemporary decor. I went there to have dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I will rate the service 5 stars, Food 4 stars. Our server Miguel was awesome! His service was superb. He went above and beyond to make our night special. At the end of our dinner he brought us a dessert with numbered candles, he asked the restaurant to played the Wedding March and brought us two glasses of sparkling wine. I was not expecting it. It really made our night special. The food was good. We had the eggplants with honey and the chorizo as our starters. The eggplant with honey had a good flavor but it was a little bit greasy. The chorizo was very greasy. We ordered two paellas. Both paella's were great. You need to try the black paella. It is really good. The dessert was delicious and the coffee was okay. Overall I had a great experience when you take into account the location, the restaurant, the service and the food. I would recommend this place if you want to spend a good time with your significant other or a friend.

Can you say meat sweats?! This place is located at the top of the tower, the views were amazing and the food was even better. We had the meat platter and lamb with sides. And let me tell you, we had to be rolled out of there. The food was soooo great and the staff were just as amazing.

Excellent views of the city. Try the daily menu for the best value (appetizer, entree, dessert, bread and glass of wine) 17 Euro.

Tuna tartare, ate about 1/3 of it already

Yum! Had a mojito during happy hour, strong but not too sweet, good job. I ordered he tuna tartare because I wasn't super hungry; so tasty. It was just a hint spicy, very flavorful, with great texture. Only left a star out because it's a tad expensive (probably for tourists like me). Pictures to follow.

Very cozy restaurant at the top of the Arenas. We were seated around 5:30ish and at 6:15 we saw the beautiful sunset over the city of Barcelona. We had friends with us & had the opportunity to sample some of their dishes in the menu. Barcelona loves to start their meals with calamari, or grilled octopus with sangria or wine. The grilled octopus was marinated in olive oil & had a distinct strong flavor. Our friends loved it but I took one piece & pretended it was good. I orderedthe salad with strawberries, walnuts, & greens, not bad. My husband ordered the salmon supreme which was about 8 oz with some potatoes on the side. I tried a piece but it tasted a bit fishy. I asked for the beef steak, 200gms. The menu did not mention whether it was a ribeye, salmon or sirloin & the waiter had no clue what part it was. I'm not familiar with their standards of cooking beef so I ordered medium. When it arrived, it looked more like a thin piece of ribeye and yes, it was pink in the center. Mediocre in flavor but it was cooked. When i ordered the pineapple flambee i was expecting a flaming pan in front of me, instead, it came out cold & sweet. Our friend ordered a custard that looked like a creme brulee but did not taste like a creme brulee. Another one was the volcanic rocks- chunks of chocolate that makes a little explosive sensation in your mouth just like tye way Nerds do (if you had Nerds when you were a kid, you'd know what I'm talking about). It was quite interesting so we each tried a piece & it was entertaining. The interior decor is quite lovely using reds, blacks & white hues. Modern table & furniture are used. I would recommend sitting by the glass window so you can watch either the sunset or the night lights coming from the street below. Even if I rated it 3 stars you oughta try it. The locals seem to dig this place.

This place is so good! Their seafood is exquisite and the service is great. Take a look at the pics.... their seafood is super fresh. Giovanni was on point, he was courteous and attentive.

The first day I had the veal and beef sirloin, medium cooked. The veal tastes like it was dry-aged and came with a pleasant flagrant along with the kick from charcoal. It was a bit chewy but every bite on the meat extracts more flavor from it. Beef sirloin usually is a safe choice, and it was a right decision for this restaurant. It was super tender and juicy, satisfying. The second day we went back for more, our friend recommended beef short-rib, and i also added a lamb chop. Unlike other short ribs I had in US, their rib was not as tender, but the more you chew on it, the more flavor came out of it. The lamb chop was surprisingly good, it's tender and juicy, also a bit fatty. I wanted to go back on the third day, but guess we need to try out something different in Barcelona, but I will definitely come back next time I'm there!

Good service - very hospitable owner, he gave us some good wine recommendations and all the food was served quite fast. The meat was just exceptional! Beef filet is an absolute must must try, very tender and fresh. The rest of the dishes were good as well. Perfect non touristic place for dinner!

I give this place 5 stars for service and 3 stars for food…read more Service was exceptional! The server came out and described all the special of the days and recommended his favorites. There is a menu in English as well. Certain dishes were amazing and some I was very disappointed. Too bad they don't have a special lunch menu because the bill for the two of us was quite expensive. So, if you're going to try this place out, here's what I had: Crispy pig mask - pretty much like bacon but lacking flavor. I believe the garnish in top was peppercinis? Or banana peppers. Not so sure. Iberico ham croquettes - took a bit and it was so crispy and tasty. Definitely get this. Their "special egg of the day" was similar to huevos cabriadios. This one came with asparagus. The portion was really tiny and everything was kind of mushed together. Lacking crunchy texture. Didn't like it at all. Steak tar tar - very nice. Came with 4 pieces of patatas which I didn't think went will with the tar tar. Instead, I spooned it onto the compliments pan con tomatoes they gave us. Patatas bravas - not your usual patatas with aioli. They add a sort of tomato paste to this dish so it makes it unique and interesting. It's good! Scallop on top of pork neck. This was the star dish of the meal. Scallops perfectly cooked on a fatty piece of pork. So much flavor, the right amount of crispness- this is a must have. All this + 2 drink came out to 58.20€.

Even though we did not have reservations, we were welcomed and treated like family instead of American tourists. The staff, particularly Victor, patiently explained the menu and we chatted with him as acquaintances. We dined here two out of the three nights we were in Barcelona because we had such a great dining experience. When we came back for the second time, every staff member remembered us and joked with us. Victor even remembered our order! Bamboral means poppy, and it's named after the city where the owners are from. One of the owners even came over to chat with us and told us about how the food was made. Here's what we had: -Ensaladilla Rusa & bonito tuna (4 euros): I'm not a potato salad fan, but this is a pretty classic tapa so we had to try it. It was just okay to me, but my husband loved it. -Burrata salad (8 euros): The burrata was a good size for sharing, while the asparagus and tomato added a nice contrast to the creaminess of the burrata. -Rice special (7 euros): Oh my gosh, whatever the rice special is, just order it! I ordered it both times, so I had two eye-rolling bowls of rice goodness. If you like the umami flavor of mushrooms, then you will love their rice special. -Scallop with pork jowl & asparagus (13 euros): The scallops were perfectly cooked, and don't be scared of the pork jowl; it's really more like pork belly. -Sweet potato bravas (3.50 euros): I would go back just for this simple, yet fantastic dish. The owner told us that their aioli is special because it's made with roasted garlic and tomatoes that have been braised for hours along with peppers from their garden. You can taste the quality in their aioli because it tasted much more complex than ones from the other tapas bars we went to. -Pork mask (8 euros): Okay, I know the name is rather strange, but this was amazing! Think of bacon that is topped with bits of garlic and vinegar to add some acidity to an otherwise heavy dish. It is a smaller establishment, so make reservations or be okay with sitting at the bar, which is what we did both nights. The atmosphere is friendly with lots of locals dining here. If you're looking for a fine dining experience with white table cloths and room temperature Evian, this is not for you. If you want to have great tapas at a reasonable price with great people, then come here!
