What can I say.. First visit: I walked in right before they were closing so I wasn't sure if they were going to take me or not. But they did! And I was thrilled they did because my brothers wedding was 2 days away and I had no other time to get them done. I had one lady working on my gel pedicure and one working on my nails. They were so friendly and took their time (even when the time passed closing). My nails lasted one month! No chips and no breakage! Not lying! Second visit.. I'm actually sitting and getting my pedicure done and again the staff is very friendly, very gentle, and taking their time! I know I'm going to love the results. This place stole my money! I came in for a polish change and a design and it was supposed to be $18 is what they quoted me over the phone. I went in there and got it done and they change the price after I got it down to $36. I told him no you told me it would be 18 over the phone and they bully me into paying it and said that it took two hours of the time but it only took 30 minutes and that they don't work for free. I tried this nail salon as a walk in for a gel mani and was so impressed with how quick they got me in, how friendly and fun the owner was, and my nails looked great. I stopped going to my usual salon because i kept getting stuck with a woman who rushed me on colors and was rude so it was just a bad experience. This place has become my go to from now on. They can always get me in quickly, have lots of options, and make my nails look perfect everytime. I would recommend to everyone! Will be going back soon. read more

Our first time here for pedi's. We were walk-in's and told it would be a15 min wait. Walked to Starbucks, grabbed a drink, walked back and they were ready for us. Everyone very nice. The person who did my feet, I feel was not aggressive enough. A fine enough job. My boyfriends pedi was done very well. His big problem area are his heels. I'm giving this place 3 stars because of the technician, Mandy, who does a beautiful job with my nails. I wouldn't step foot in that Place if it wasn't for her. The owner is a complete jerk. They don't schedule appointments correctly, so I wait 15-20 minutes for each appointment. Last week, they happened to be on time, and I showed up 6 minutes late- he gave away my appointment. He 'scolded' me and told me that his staff won't around for clients. I've been going there for 2 years and the first time late my appointment gets taken away. Horrible customer service. I was a walk-in. The place is good and seems clean- they take credit cards which is always a bonus. I'm not sure if you can tip on your card... I just forked over a couple of bucks. They were friendly on the phone when I called from a nearby salon where they were super rude to my friend and I for trying to walk in for mani/pedis at 1pm on a Saturday (how dare us) so we drove right over and were welcomed right into Above and Beyond. This was the first time my mother, daughter and I have been to this nail salon. They were extremely friendly and the salon was very clean. However, I requested just polish on my nails and a spa pedicure and they charged me for a mani pedi anyway. My mother received a lack luster mani, it looked as if she didn't get anything filed at all. Both of our pedi's were beautiful and we left there feeling very relaxed but charging me full price for a mani when all I received was nail polish will keep me from returning. My mom and I came in here to get our nails done. She needed a fill and for them to be cut down. They told her they were going to charge her extra just to file it down. So my mom said that's fine. The lady took off my moms polish then got up and went and started someone's pedicure. After waiting awhile another guy sat down looked at my mom and just said "you need to go to the place that you usually go to" and got up and walked away. My mom asked confused "who was going to finish her nails because she was on a time crunch" and they looked up and said "no one." They did not finish my moms nails. I have been coming to this place for 8+ years for pedicures and manicures. Sometimes I make appointments a day in advance, yet other times I will call while I'm leaving work and heading their way and they seem to always fit me in. I don't know what they do, but this place is the only place where I've gotten a pedicure and the polish actually lasts for a month! My nails grow out before the polish wears off! Awful, just awful. I came to this place once before. Yesterday I was reminded of why I drove to a nail salon 30 minutes away rather than to this one, which is only 5 minutes away. I went in for an emergency fill and pedicure because I didn't have time to wait for Nancy, my favorite at my favorite nail salon. The lady who did my mani and pedi was rude and kept making ticking noises as if she didn't like what I wanted to do with my nails. As she was filling my acrylic she damaged my natural nails. I have NEVER had someone ruin my nails so badly. When I was getting my pedi she cut my toe nails painfully short. The end results: A crooked, sloppy, overall distasteful manicure and a painful pedicure. I wasn't the only customer that day who walked out unsatisfied. If you have low expectations and you wouldn't mind walking out unhappy, this is the ideal nail salon for you. read more

I have been going to above and beyond nails for quite a few years now they used to have a different owner when I first started going there. I came in to get an hombre polish on my toes with callus removal and a flower design on my big toes I was looking at the pricelist and it's eight dollars for nail polish five dollars for design and five dollars for callus removal. When all was said and done I was expecting it to cost around $25 because I understand if they needed to charge extra for the extra work that they did for the hombre . I had a 3 o'clock appointment and they were done at 3:55. The lady Danielle took my card and said it would be $36 because my design cost $15 I told her that that did not seem fair or right since I've never been charged $15 for a design on each big toe she told me it was a special design that's why it cost more. It was two flowers with one diamond in the center of it. She also stated that she practically gave me a pedicure even though I didn't get a pedicure all I got was the callus removal and the nail polish. She lied and also the owner lied straight to my face in front of all the other clients stating that since I did hombre and the design and it took longer than an hour which he did not I was out of there in under an hour that's why they're charging me the extra $22 I have never left the salon after getting pampered crying before this was the worst experience I've ever experienced and I hope no one else will have to go through what I went through trying to save you some time and hassle by warning you ahead of time. They charged me an invisible made up price that they thought they should charge and they couldn't even explain why they were charging me that other than that the design was $15 when normally it's five dollars. read more
