One of my favorite tea services in Portland. Service is always excellent, food is wonderful, and have liked all the teas I have tried so far. Been here over 5 times and would highly recommend. Only 2 factors to consider- parking can be tricky in that area and they don't have a gluten free option.

Have you heard about this little quaint tea spot named Abigail Hall in the Woodlark Hotel? My mom and I hit it up for our ongoing mother-daughter tea tradition, and it was mostly a hit, but with a tiny miss. The place itself is super quaint, chill tucked in the back of the hotel. Open on Sat & Sun with reservations only. It's perfect for a relaxing afternoon, and honestly at $38 a person is a great deal for a high tea experience. We got our tower of yummy bites and a good Smith Teamaker Tea. (One pot per couple you can add on another for a minimal price) They also offer cocktails with some fun names. Service was a little lax and they totally forgot our cocktail order, so we barely had time to sip our drinks once they arrived. Also, my "Kind of a Tart" drink was a huge flop! It was a slimy, coagulated mess with that egg white foam. Seriously, a major bummer! It either sat too long or was made in a hurry. It didn't look like another tables drink I had scoped out prior to ordering. Thankfully my mom's drink "LA MONJA ROJA"(strawberry tequila with a kick) was absolutely delicious, not to mention beautiful ...saved the day! The Verdict... even with my cocktail flop, it was a lovely, relaxing afternoon making memories with mom and another tea experience checked off our list. Definitely a cute spot for tea, just maybe skip the foamy drinks!

Stopped in here just before 5 o'clock opening and was the first one in. I loved the Abbi burger and I also love the french fries which was. The drinks were good a little bit small for this alcoholic, but still they were well-made and very flavorful and still, you know had the appropriate amount of alcohol so I can't complain. Pro tip: enter through the front door of the Woodlark building on Alder. They are way in the back if you just keep walking back and on the right. Enjoy all the pink that you will find there and the celebration of one of the better known suffragettes.

Abigail Hall is a super cute intimate bar with an amazing happy hour! Very fair priced drinks, snacks, and good vibes. Service was really friendly and it was a nice spot for date night or a night out with friends!

Abigail Hall is unique in style. I loved the decor and its chic aesthetic. I wanted to try Abigail Hall the night before but they were closed the first few hours due to a staffing shortage. Thankfully, I was able to try it the next day and it was worth the wait. It's small, yet quaint. You have to order everything from the bar and they deliver it to your table. I ordered a margarita and a smash burger. There was only one bartender at the time but he was moving swiftly. My drink and food came out quickly and both were equally great. If you're looking for a small bite and a crafted cocktail, check them out! They also offer happy hour from 5-6 P.M.

My review is solely for the Afternoon High Tea experience which is the best in Oregon. Classic, beautiful, precise and fun to get dressed up for with friends. I enjoyed that cocktails were an option and crafted to match the theme.

    - such a cute, unique experience, so fun to see everyone dress up to theme - servers were extremely fun, kind, helpful in explaining how the items will be brought out - black lavender was my favorite tea - all the sandwiches and bites were delicious - reservations available, there is a seating duration that they'll let you know

Brought a friend here to celebrate her birthday and it was a perfect experience. I read a lot of reviews saying how bad the food is - it wasn't as bad as described! That said the radish sandwich on milk bread was dry, the strawberry scone was odd & overly sweet, but all the other food was delicious. The savory scone and smoked salmon tartlet were the highlights. We went with the lord bergamot tea and sherry pairing which was perfect for both tea fans and tea averse people. Would come again!

The afternoon tea was all style and no substance. We went for my birthday and it was such a disappointment. The ambience was beautiful and the Smith tea was great but that's where the positives end. Like the other reviews said, the service was lackluster at best. We were ignored and had to get our own water. They offered to bring me a candle for my birthday that never showed up. After looking at pictures of previous reviews, the food has only gotten smaller with a $10 hike in price per person. The pickled egg was inedible and the Brie sandwich was old with stale bread. This left me disappointed and at this price point (with tip and a 3% kitchen charge for opening a bottle of wine automatically included), I recommend skipping.

I was staying there at Woodlark and based on the goods reviews, I gave it a try. Did not disappoint! The decor is wonderful, feminine and hip. Service is warming and welcoming. I went for breakfast. They have an European inspired buffet that includes a main dish between avocado tartine, waffles and breakfast sandwich. I had the avocado tartine. Bigger than I thought. Lot of salmon and avocado. I was already full just with this but everything looked so good, I had to keep eating! Those scones are to die for. The chamomile one was my favorite. Wonderful place. Next time, I'll go back for high tea.

Great happy hour! Quality cocktails, good variety and food is tasty. Dark, intimate, comfy and cute - perfect for a catch up with a few friends. Servers were kind and accommodating.

I came here one evening and had a great time with my boyfriend. Located in the Woodlark hotel, you have to walk past the lobby to get to this bar. It's cozy, with lots of comfy seating, and a nice ambiance. We got a couple drinks to enjoy over conversation and thought that the drinks were great--both their cocktails and wine selection. I just wished they had more bites to snack on or foods on their menu (when we went there was a limited selection). Otherwise, this is a great spot for a nice, cozy bar! Service was nice.

Order: Walnut Oliveto (gin, licor 43, EVOO, Black Walnut, Lemon, Vanilla, Egg white). Happy Hour Frys & chicken tenders Off Menu Bartenders creation! Pros: this Walnut Oliveto is smooth and soooo good. Usually I am not a gin person but the vanilla, lemon, gin and other ingredients work so well together yummmmy! Def. Adding this to my list of drinks. It's not to sweet or sour. The vibe is intimate and dope! If you're looking for a large space this is not the place for you. To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.

One of the best parts was how approachable the bartenders were. We asked for custom drinks based on our preferences, and both came out perfectly tailored. Creative without being weird, and strong without being sloppy. What really stood out was the price point. For the quality of cocktails, the prices felt very reasonable compared to similar craft cocktail bars in other cities. The vibe was also great -- relaxed, cozy, and not pretentious. It felt like a place where you could come for a special drink experience without feeling like you had to "perform" or order off a rigid menu. We liked it so much we actually came back a second time during our trip. Highly recommend if you're into well-crafted cocktails, friendly bartenders, and a laid-back but elevated atmosphere.

We were colonized for over 300 yrs and still deal with the trauma from it. Please consider removing the colonial decor. I really enjoyed the bar and want to enjoy it in the future, but I don't think it's necessary to have those things in the bar and doesn't add anything to how cool the bar is apart from that. UPDATE: the bar messaged me. They were super professional and kind in their response. I really appreciate that they were open to my perspective on the colonial items and said they will be removed.
