This is the 3rd time Donny and his crew have serviced my 1966 3/4 ton (F250) long bed pickup. Ive been perfectly pleased each time. The 1st service required a bumper to bumper eval and repair/replace of many parts, (gaskets, belts, hoses, h2o pump, brakes, tires, wiring, suspension work, etc) that were neglected and plain worn out. The second service included a new windshield, custom (built in shop) exhaust pipes, muffler, oil & tune up, warranty work on exhaust manifold gasket, carb rebuild. I went from feeling comfortable at 60 mph on freeway, to hitting 80 to pass without any hesitation. The most recent service was last week. I snapped clutch linkage. I had the truck towed to the shop without going with it. I spoke with Donny by phone, he took the truck in immediately, replacement parts were obtained and installed and I was back on the road in no time. Prices are fair and reasonable. All parts are warrantied and I feel great when I drive away from the shop. If you have need for a trusted mechanic, good and honest man and crew, take your vehicle to ABCO. I've taken my cars to Donny for several years (20+) and always get great service at reasonible pricing. From rotors, ignition, and trannys on my 95 Suburban (Which now has 370,000 on original motor!) to leaking fuel rails, head gaskets, and injectors on my 01 Chevy Duramax 2500HD Diesel! My Duramax was having an issue while towing which revealed the blown head gasket issue. Injectors are in the path of the heads coming off ( and leaking at the time) so it only made sense when Donny suggested to replace all 8 injectors and glow plugs at the same time. (Spent a little more now so I would save BIG time in the future) Donny and his crew fixed up my Dmax and it was running better than ever at 210,000 miles!! Best shop to bring your truck in Orange County. Brought in my Chevy 2500 HD Duramax and Donny was super friendly and knowledgeable. He let me know what I needed to do to fit larger tires on my truck. Got me a great deal on all the parts, wheels and tires and was able to install my leveling kit and mount and balance my tires all in house. They also just got a brand new alignment rack so he was able to check everything after the leveling kit and it drives better than ever. I found out they are also a Lucas distributor so I was able to pick up some oil to change myself at home at a good price as well. read more

I can't say enough about John and his awesome service that he provides. I was picking up a trailer for a drive out to Colorado. He did some work on my hitch and then we went through the trailer. The license plate light didn't work so he changed the bulb. When that didn't work, he got on the phone with Uhaul and looked for another trailer for me. He got me another one off his lot. This is the type of service you wish all companies would provide to their customers. I highly recommend Old Town Orange Automotive. I had a transmission issue on my car and had them rebuild it. The owner Donny is a nice guy, but I had to take my car back 3 times and still doesn't shift right and each time was a week without car.I have a reg. mechanic and wanted to give orange auto a try since it is close to home.
