On May 2 my wife and I wanted to look at a 2019 Chevy Traverse at Selman Chevrolet we saw posted on Carfax.com. I called ahead of time and spoke with Mike Willis who told me the car was there. My wife and I went and upon arrival saw the car in the lot. We met with Mike who was very friendly and personable. He was very knowledgeable about the car and answered all of our questions. We liked the car but there were a couple small things on the car we wanted corrected and Mike assured us it would be taken care of. We took it for a test drive and after returning went into his office to discuss the price of the vehicle. Mike was very transparent about everything, and we agreed on a price, down payment and loan terms. There were no back and forth negotiations and we didn't have to meet with multiple people to get the deal done. Mike completed all the necessary paperwork and sent it over to finance. We then met with Gus Liechti in Finance. Gus was also very friendly and personable and didn't pressure us into purchasing anything we didn't want. There were no hidden add-ons or gimmicks, and the entire process went smoothly. We got everything we agreed to with Mike, and it was a very pleasant experience. We took the car home that night and I brought it back on Monday to get another key-fob programmed that was part of the deal. I told Mike I heard a slight knock on the passenger front of the vehicle when driving slow over bumps and Mike had it taken to service to get looked at. Jeff and Diego in the service department were great. Diego diagnosed it as a stabilizer bar issue and after discussing it with Mike and the manager, they agreed to replace the left and right stabilizers at no additional charge. Diego even took the time to show me what he found and how they diagnosed the issue. I have bought many cars over my lifetime, and this was by far the best experience I ever had at a car dealership. If I could give Selman Chevrolet more stars I would. They set the bar high and other dealerships could learn a lot from them. I'm very disappointed with Selman Chevrolet's parts department. I ordered a windshield for my 2023 Chevrolet Suburban on January 30 and was told it would take 5 working days. Two weeks later, I still don't have the part. After multiple calls and different explanations, I was told today that the glass was re-ordered due to delays -- and there's still no guaranteed arrival date. My vehicle is currently non-drivable, and after waiting two full weeks, I'm back to square one with no clear timeline or accountability. The lack of communication and transparency is extremely frustrating. I've always had good experiences there before, which makes this even more disappointing. Been trying to get a recall completed on my car for quite some time now. I've called and scheduled 3 appointments. The last time I called they assured me the part was in. All 3 times I've had to come pick up my car because they realize they don't have the part after I've already been sent home. I had to initiate the follow-up on what was going on for most of the process. Others have made the experienced the same or similar and commented as well that you really need to check-in with them because it'll be days or even a week and still no update. Gabe was my service writer and worked with me on repairs and replacements and made some changes to the quote for service after I reviewed it. He was very responsive and easy to work with. I had my Lexus painted by Selman collision center during their car paint special. They did an absolutely amazing job. I was embarrassed driving my car due to peeling paint. We were told that we may see an outline of where the peeling paint was but much to my satisfaction, there are no tell tale signs. Horrible experience at this dealership. Took about a week to fix an A/C issue. Brought it in, they charged us $700 to repair the A/C said it was good drove down the street and the A/C was still hot. Took it back to the dealer to tell them so again I had to drop off the vehicle (plus our time and fuel to have someone pick me up) drop off initially, then go back home, then come back to pickup (not done) then drive back home, then they have the vehicle for almost a week, tell me it's ready I go to pick it up and they did not charge us for the repair (I'm guessing because they fixed their initial mistake). Get a call the next day saying they forgot to charge me it's going to be another $600+ and kept calling. Did not discount anything, did not offer an apology, did not give me a ride after driving 6 times to this dealership. Also the staff on the phone are so rude they just transfer you without even saying hello or anything. I would avoid this dealership and would never service or purchase a vehicle here. I'll never return here. So unprofessional. They need to train their employees better from service to cashier all the way to the repair techs read more

Had a great buying experience here. Better than other dealerships, to be honest. My husband and I did our "homework". We shopped and shopped all day. Got test drives and quotes throughout the day. We were exhausted and nothing really clicked with us that we liked. We came here because online they had this beautiful blue (snow drift was the color) chevy colorado truck. We walked into the building and already knew what we wanted. We were politely attended by George. He greeted us and pulled up the truck on his screen. This was a few days back but one star for the terrible service by the woman who was managing the customer service phone. My mother was calling back to ask if her vehicle was ready for pick up based on the time they told us to call the day before. The woman was so incredibly rude, it was stressing my mom out so much she put her on speaker. Not only was the woman purposefully misunderstanding what my mother said, she was not patient enough to let her finish my mother's sentences. My mother has a bit of an accent, but nothing where she wouldn't be understood. The woman started, "Can you pass me to someone who speaks English? Speak English? English??" as my mom was speaking perfectly fine english. Once I took over, I answered her questions politely. She groaned, gave attitude still, then "transferred" us only to hang up the phone immediately TWICE. From there, she immediately hung up the phone twice more. We called a different line and she answered. She groaned more and said "YES YES I know what you're calling for fine I'll transfer your call". It was actually transferred this time and turns out, our car was ready for pick up. Mind you, allll we wanted was to pay for the service and get our vehicle back! It was all such unwarranted behavior from such a miserable, childish, grown adult. If she doesn't want to talk with customers, she HAS THE WRONG JOB. FIRE HER PLEASE!! read more
