I also had a wrench light that came up shortly after my last oil change in June. He rectified that too. I bought a used car from Mazda of Orange, and the experience had a lot to improve (but it wasn't the worst, so I'm giving it three stars). The car was overall in good condition, with one thing that kept me uncomfortable even to this day: the anti-theft lock mechanism from Rockledge Security that they forced to be installed on the vehicle. Even after I mentioned I didn't want it upon purchasing and requested it to be removed, they could only disable it with a keypad that only the dealership had access to, but not uninstall it. So to this day, there was a little thing with an LED light attached to it, installed underneath the dashboard, that was apparently directly spliced into the startup cable and could potentially risk hurting the cable or the system if removed. It was not very noticeable, but it kept me uncomfortable to know it would always be there. The purchase process was overall okay, but this happened during the process (which was all the reason why I wanted to leave this review): Even though I made it very clear that I would purchase the vehicle in cash, therefore they should not need to run a credit score check on me, and they agreed, but I found out later that they still had a hard pull request on my credit score, which showed up on my credit report. The salesperson who worked with me initially didn't even admit that they had a hard pull, not until I found out the request showed very clearly that it was initiated from this dealership. It took me two months and many, many phone calls to their business manager and the credit bureau to finally get that erroneous inquiry deleted. It was a lot of unnecessarily wasted time and stress. I wish they could be more careful, and that would never have happened. read more

Hands down one of the most amazing dealership experiences I've ever had. So much so that my wife and I just traded in both our cars for brand new 2026 Mazda CX-50 hybrids. Our salesman Zaid Hammouri was excellent from start to finish. Kind, respectful, knowledgeable and a hard worker. We originally came to consider a new car for my wife only but Zaid and the sales department worked with us and gave us such a great deal I had no choice but to trade in my car as well. Most dealerships are not willing to budge at all on asking prices but I told Zaid and sales dept exactly what we needed to make a deal and they made it work without any unnecessary back and forth. Extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency at this dealership. I came in for a 2022 Rivian R1T advertised on their website for $50,995. However, they refused to honor that price unless I also paid $1,690 for mandatory add-ons (Cilajet and Door Edge Guards) that were never mentioned in the listing. Under California Vehicle Code § 11713.1(e), dealers are required to include all mandatory costs in the advertised price, yet they refused to remove these 'junk fees.' To make matters worse, even for a cash purchase, they insisted on pulling credit--a completely unnecessary practice designed to gather data or push financing. If you're looking for a dealer that honors their own advertised pricing and respects consumer privacy, look elsewhere. Highly recommend you stay away from this place. read more

I bought a certified used Mazda a couple years ago. They had mark ups (door guards, wheel locks...). I'm not paying for markups and you shouldn't either! I had an issue with a rattling noise and I contacted my sales person, forgot his name Jesse or Jesus, and that guy never took my call or called me back! Very unprofessional! They didn't cover the repair of the rattle even tho it was under warranty, even the service department said it was an interior trim piece that had to be replace but the dealership said no! I scheduled a visit with Mazda of Orange after receiving a written online offer of $52,250 for my vehicle through CarGurus, which was valid through May 28, 2026. I submitted my vehicle on May 21 and was contacted by Adrian from the dealership on the 27th of May. He confirmed the offer and scheduled me for an appointment. Throughout several text exchanges leading up to my visit, I clearly asked multiple times if the offer was accurate and would be honored if I came in. Adrian reassured me that it was, stating that as long as the vehicle condition matched what was submitted, "the numbers wouldn't change." I also confirmed again before heading in, explaining I had a pregnant wife and a daughter at home and didn't want to make the drive unnecessarily. He again confirmed everything was good and told me to come in. Based on those confirmations, I drove to the dealership expecting to complete the transaction. When I arrived, I was informed by management that they could not honor the offer because it had expired, and that I had not notified them of the expiration date. However, I was never informed during scheduling or prior communication that the offer was no longer valid, and I was told multiple times in writing to come in and that the deal was still good. The manager also stated there was "miscommunication" between staff, and that they could not proceed with the original offer. No alternative offer matching the original value was provided, and the deal was ultimately not honored. I expressed my concern that I had driven out based on written confirmation and reassurances, especially given my family situation, but was told there was nothing they could do. I did receive a full tank of gas as a courtesy for the inconvenience. The visit ended without a deal being completed, and I left disappointed due to the disconnect between the written communication and what was honored in person. I'm open to updating this review depending on any follow-up resolution, as I was told someone would reach out. Anthony was very knowledgeable about the cars, even being newer to selling Mazda's. He took time to answer every question we had and made sure we fully understood everything at every step of the process. What I don't like is when you make appointment for a time and then you find out the appointment doesn't mean anything. If your going to take appointment you need to start the work at that time. I've been searching for a car and have been emailing Mazda Orange about any offers that they have; specifically I've been interacting with Joseph. Mazda Orange emailed me that their CX-5 had a total of 5,785 off . I sent bullet point questions that were not answered; thus I resent the email and asked if they could answer the questions. After much back and forth they eventually answered the questions. They also informed me that the aformentioned 5,785 off deal was incorrect due to a "glitch and error" in the online pricing. It's always possible that there was a mistake for almost all (or all if memory serves) of this particular CX 5 trim. In case Mazda Orange reads this; I will say in generalities that customers usually like transparency and directness. Especially as Mazda is a premium brand and likely has luxury aspirations; higher levels of sales and service are expected. read more

You kind of feel like you're being waited on hand and foot because throughout your time there they ask if you would like tea, coffee or water. The sales people are extremely knowledgeable about the cars, and the finance department explains things to you in depth so you're not in the dark about anything regarding financing. The dealership itself is immaculate and visually appealing. They follow up with you the next day to make sure everything is going as expected with your vehicle and that you're happy with your purchase. They then follow up with you again a few days later. I had been trying to get the dealership's attention for two months including the below mentioned case with Mazda USA. The magic of a negative Yelp review is palpable. It's a shame that's what it took. I made an appointment with him to have an ozone treatment to remove the smell. The service department was great. They could not have been nicer. They gave me a loaner and promised to do whatever it took to solve my problem. The car smell after treatment is significantly better. Though there is still a mild smell of perfume, the really nasty under smell of cigarettes and mustiness is gone. All of the time I wasted and dissatisfaction with Mazda of Orange could have been avoided had I been paid attention to in the first place as promised the day I bought the car.
