Giovanni was stellar in handling my needs- and so was Jose (tech). The service I received was off the charts. I had a concern after having my diesel RV serviced (at their location) and within hours Jose showed up at my house to remedy the problem. We rented a travel trailer and upon arrival to our destination we noticed one of the two Tires (no spare) was flat or near flat. I rang Pete's Road Service and got to a human right away. In fact I think it was Pete!!! I explained my situation and in 2 hours Otto (he's Terrific) was working on our trailer at our camp site. He was friendly, professional and invited my curious kids to watch and even touch some cool stuff. They loved it. I should have known from my last experience here they would damage my rims. A picture doesn't really show the damage; I need video to show how the entire rim on 3 of the 4 wheels was completely trashed! The only reason the 4th wheel wasn't damaged was they told me the truck was ready and when I went to drive it away they had not replaced the 4th tire! That's when the fireworks started. Again, my previous set of tires was a complete mess also; damaged rims, wrong valve stems, leaky valve stem, oh and they put the wrong tires on! I totally regret using Pete's. I think I'll just live with one of the 4 valve stems not matching. read more

Pete's Road service in Fullerton sucks! I bought tires for my work truck there, and when I drove away, the truck was shaking really bad. I checked and saw that none of the tires had any weights on them. I had to go back and have them balanced, which they should have done in the first place since I paid for it. A short while later, the tires started shaking again, so I went back and they told me the tires were unsafe and I needed to buy four new ones. I told them I had just bought the tires from them, and they said the date on the tires was really old and they were out of warranty. I told them again that I had just bought the tires from them. I contacted Rick the manger and he said he would have to get a hold of a hankook area manager. He would call me back after 4 months of constanly calling Rick and never recieving a call back i went to another tire shop and had all the tires replaced. There managment does not follow through or take care of any issues. The employee at petes told me its my responcablity to check the tires dates before i bought them. I thought i could just trust them not to screw me. So i guess you have to go back in the shop and inspect the tires and watch there employees do there job if not its on you. ABSOLUTLY PATHETIC! read more

I was using them use to a national account (aka we were doing a lot of business with them) had an issue with a tire they installed. I asked them to look it over they stated the tire had a nail (which it didn't) all for an extra 100 bucks. Now a complaint is filed with BBB and the national provider. I can't stand people who won't make an honest buck. Make sure this location shows you the work not just the work order. Rather then argue we are just taking out business elsewhere and filing a complaint. Rick stated he was the manager. Needs to brush up on his costumer service skills. I just had 6 new 255/70R22.5 Toyo M122 tires installed on my Thor Palazzo yesterday. I priced online tires and gave a call to Pete's Road Service. They have 9 locations in Southern California, and since I live in Anaheim Hills I chose their Fullerton locaton, about 7 miles away. They didn't have the tires in stock but got them within 2 days. I did not need to bargain with them as the price with all the taxes and disposal fees etc was about a thousand less than the online service that does it at your location. That wouldn't work for me in any case as my driveway is sloped and I didn't want to hassle at the storage yard, not sure if they allow it anyway. The service was same day but I chose to pick it up the next morning and I am very pleased with the tires, all within 4 months or less, with one 3522. All were made in Japan. I need to get some different stem extenders but these will be better than the ones I had before. My original Michelins were serviceable but aged out, made in 2015. I am a very happy customer of Pete's, and no I am not a bot or connected with them in any fashion. If you live in SoCal I suggest you check with them when you need new tires!. We are two women who have an RV that occasionally gives us trouble. This week has been an example of our experience. We were in Long Beach for 4 nights and planned on spending 7 nights in Anaheim. On the day we were to leave LB the house batteries died after closing only one of two slide outs. AND we had 30" until check out. $800 and 4 hours later we were on our way to Anaheim. Now we are in Anaheim and we have two flat tires. UNBELIEVABLE! But thank goodness for Pete's. We cannot stress enough how helpful and wonderful they were. He was very polite, made conversation with us and asked how our day was going. They open at 6am. They have a location in Gardena and a few more too. They have roadside assistance for trucks/RVs, etc. They didn't have a mechanic until 9am today. I called Pete's told them that I was on vacation and couldn't leave my RV and I needed an alignment and the front end checked out. They told me to bring it in about 1 pm and they would have someone on it. I brought my RV in and they brought it into the shop and started working. They came back and told me what parts it needed. Gave me a fair price. I question everything and they explained in detail. Very polite I ask them to check the brake pads, they did. Pete's did the job right. In about 2 hours I had my RV back, rides great. I waited a week to do this review so I could give my RV a good test run. Great service. read more

Great service at a fair price. I have a 32' class A motor home with 22.5 inch wheels. I have had issues with the front two tires valve stems losing and leaking air. Also the stems did not extend out past the wheel. I needed longer valve stems. Pete's was recommended to us by a AAA roadside service tech. They specialize in larger wheels/tires. They have large service yard you pull into then under a large awning. Service tech meant me and I discussed my issue. He was polite and professional. They installed new longer stems and set air pressure per my direction. In/out in about 30 minutes. I thought the price was very fair. They have errand my tire business for my motor home. read more

I Come in whenever I need work done on my Freightliner truck. From Tires, to Mechanical, The service from the technicians is great, fast, and most of all very knowledgeable and polite, BUT** My only complaint is from a gentlemen in the office that seems to treat his employees a little on the bad side. Fella sits on the corner of the long desk, named Mike. He made my experience a little uncomfortable by walking by every 5 minutes or so, by what I assume is looking to see what the employees are doing. I was able to see the discomfort in their faces. Not a good way to manage a team of great employees. I've been coming here for years as Noe was my go to guy when he was running the store. The change of management is clearly noticeable, hopefully Pete's can change it to a more friendly, and welcoming environment. read more

Cannot give them a poor rating, although want to  - due to the crazy pricing. But honestly, deep inside my greedy heart I am grateful to Pete's Service. We were on a road trip to San Diego on my dad's RV, and the rear tire blew, and we did not have a spare. It was a Sunday evening, in Dana Point, and I swear that I have called like a dozen of emergency place - none could find a tire size suitable for us. Pete's dispatcher responded quickly and estimated $465, which was outrageous for a used tire installation. We hesitated, but then agreed. Within an hour their tech was on site, and few minutes later we were driving again. So, besides inflated prices they are good. Get AAA or any other kind roadside assistance coverage to avoid such expenses. Or carry a properly inflated spare. read more

We took our motorhome to Pete's Road Service for new tires. Although we probably need 8 new tires we could only afford 2, they alone cost over $1200 and this included the alignment. I was annoyed and disappointed that my husband told me that on the drive home from the shop, there was now a squeaking noise from one of the new front tires. We returned the motorhome back to Fullerton. Bryan diagnosed a broken oil seal, and ordered a new seal. We picked it our motorhome and they had replaced both front oil seals free of charge. I contacted Pete's Road Service in Fullerton last week and spoke with James regarding replacing 6 Michelin tires on my RV as I am taking a trip in a couple of weeks. I gave James the tire type and he said that he had all 6 of them in stock and priced them out for me. So, I set an appointment to come in and have the new tires installed three days out. While on the original phone call with James, he suggested that I join the FMCA in order to get a discount on the tires and for only a $50.00 annual fee I could get $100.00 off each tire. Good deal. Now, this is where the "good deal" ended! I showed up for my appointment on time with James (having driven 15 miles to get there) and he tells me that not only had the tires that he thought were in stock been sold to someone else but also that the tires are on backlog for at least 6 to 8 weeks. Apparently James didn't have my call back number to let me know this before I showed up. So, not only did I waste 3 hours out of my day, plus 4 gallons of gas, plus $50.00 for a FMCA membership I won't use, I end up with no tires and no real apology. P.S. I found the tires elsewhere and getting them installed this week (without the FMCA discount). read more

I love going to Pete's. I have several heavy duty trailers and equines along with military trailers and transporters. These guys always have the right tires, the best service, at the right price. I used to go to other tire shops and the best stuff they had for my application was just barely doable. This in turn made me come back once a year to get new tires.
