He seemed very sympathetic to our situation. He was able to get to my place within the hour. Unfortunately, it was more than a simple pilot relighting. He was able to fix it and was able to negotiate a fair price. William and his team were courteous and professional. They explained the scope of the work before it was begun. Had these guys out last year to install a bidet attachment and they did a great job for $68. So when my bath sink faucet started leaking, I knew who to call. This guy looked me dead in the eye, told me he needed to replace both sink faucets, even though there's nothing wrong with the other one, and that it would cost $250 each + the cost of 2 faucets and parts. So like $700 something. Instead I went to home depot, bought the $32 faucet, and took the 9 minutes to install it myself. Unbelievable. read more

Two of these plumbers came into my elderly inlaws house in Mesa to do a check of the water heater. These crooks replaced 4 shut off valves 2 outside and 2 inside. They charged my in laws $2800 to do this. I worked in residential custruction when I was getting my masters degree in Social Work and can guarantee that this was robbery of elderly people. It's been 4 months now since Kevin destroyed my mothers kitchen do to a clogged pipe for the sink he didn't do a proper inspection of the situation. He proceeded to go on the roof and started jetting the pipe he then cracked a pipe and allowed water to fill inside the kitchen walls and caused sewage to enter dishwasher and the whole kitchen was flooded with sewage. soaking expensive kitchen electronics with sewage as well as counters and cabinets. The company has gave my mother the run around first it started with Kevin trying to get my mother to sign over a check for $500 for his side company he had even after she told him no and that she paid the $75 fee with the home warranty. He than called multiple times and harrased my mother about he was trying to help get all the pipes replaced in the house. By this time the kitchen was completely ripped apart to stop from mold accrue and further damages to the house. I have plenty of witnesses and plenty of audio to go off of. This company has taken advantage of my mother and they keep giving her the excuses of why they can't pay for what thier employee did. Well im stepping in and going to take care of this matter for her personally. We called another company and he came out and fixed the clog that was located on the opposite side of the house it took this professional 20min to find and fix the issue. We paid for this out of our pocket. Every time my mother calls its an excuse and story's of what else the guy Kevin messed up at other people's houses.and how the police are involved I dont care anything about that. Where's my mothers check?! For damages??? I'm now taking legal action on her behalf. You will be served within a few days of this review. You the owner/owners of the company will have 10 days of served date to comply. if you do not comply im coming for full compensation of damages plus all your assets and then some. Im not buying the stories or your excuses any longer or seeing my mother in tears of her new house with no kitchen and bad holidays cause she couldn't cook for her family for the holidays. I initially was supposed to have a visit 9/24 for my leaking faucets and hot water valve replacement, they never showed. Called again 9/27 and they said I was "in the queue" and they'll call me when they are on their way. I get a call on 9/29 saying they'll be there 10/1 from 9-1. I texted at 12:30 asking where the plumber was, he advised he had called, which I did have a missed call while I was working but no voicemail and no follow up text as promised, and he did not bother to show up and knock anyway, so we had to reschedule. I got a confirmation text and email that he'd be here 10/4 between 9-1 and when I texted and called again at 12:30, I was advised that it was cancelled and an error due to death in the family. I KNOW things happen, however do you only have 1 PERSON helping?! And why the heck am I not being contacted hours before my appointment is scheduled so I am made aware that you will not be showing up? I shouldn't have to reach out numerous times for this. If there is an issue, it's your responsibility to let me know prior to having me wait at home for you to arrive. I will not be "rescheduling" and I will be sure to never use y'all again. read more

We had a soft water system installed and the plumbers at ABC Plumbing said it could drain to the side of the house with no issues. Fast forward a few years and I have no idea why my sidewalk to the backyard is disintegrating but a contractor tells me it is from my soft water system draining onto the sidewalk. ABC plumbing fixed the drain issue but my sidewalk is still crumbling. I had everything else repaired (drywall & stucco) however the sidewalk is going to be well over $1500 to remove and replace. They installed a new tankless water heater, the next day I smelled gas and called them being a weekend the said be out Monday morning, no word till we called and they were trying to get hold of manufacturer, then said it would be the next morning and would send someone out and be able to talk with representatives a T that time. The handle for the tub/shower was leaking and spraying water when the shower was being used. ABC plumbing, Matt, was dispatched to perform the repairs. The valve was very corroded and not easily removed. Matt fought with it and got it out. He then did a good job of cleaning out the housing, replaced the valve, and got everything running great. I called ABC to take a look at a clogged garbage disposal. They were courteous on the phone and quick to schedule an appointment. The service men were kind and quickly cleared my disposal in under ten minutes. However they charged me $234. I could go buy a new high end garbage disposal for $175. They quoted me over $500 to put in a new one. Ridiculous! I felt as though because I was a women they could just tell me any price and I would pay for it. We recently bought a home in Chandler with a basement sump pump, the pump wasn't working and backed up(this is terrible for the record) as I said we are new to the area so I had heard many commercials for Goettl on the radio and gave them a call. They sent a guy out who didn't seem to know what he was doing at all and kept calling for help. Eventually he said both of our sump pumps had gone bad and needed to be replaced and the charge would be between $4000 and $8000.I was overwhelmed at the charge so decided to get a second opinion. I called ABC plumbing, spoke with a guy named William who was very professional yet sympathetic to my problem and sent to young men out to assess the problem that same day. These two men were very respectful and professional, diagnose the problem quickly and did the repair for a total cost of $825. Thank goodness I called these guys and didn't just trust Goettl!!! as a new person in the area ABC plumbing did an outstanding job of making me feel confident and earning my trust quickly. When it rains it pours! About two months after listing my house for sale I entered my garage to find that the massive water heater in the closet had blown a valve and was leaking all over the floor. I called several different pluming companies and got quotes to replace and install a new water heater and ABC Plumbing was about $450 less than the next closest quote (Home Depot included). They were out within 24 hours and installed the new heater and disposed of the old one for the quoted price. Called and described the problem and they advised that it would be $79 service call which seemed reasonable. Technician showed up diagnosed the problem (clogged p trap) and said it would be $313 to fix it. As I had water running out of the cabinet onto the floor, I had no choice but to pay it. Technician was at my house 30 minutes. $626 per hour!!!??? Called to speak with the owner and left messages 4 times! No response. Finally reached a sales manager who said he would call back and never heard back from him. There are much better options in the valley. This company is a rip-off. They were referred by my extended warranty company. Showed up, took maybe 20 minutes and said they would need to talk with warranty company. Charged me the show up fee of $45. While here, the plumber talked down the warranty company who referred him. Told me they are really bad. Came back the following week, took 5 minutes to replace a small part in the shower valve. Charged me $328 on top of the $45 the last week, saying warranty company wouldn't cover any of the repair. Not bad for 25 minutes of work. Called his boss over outrageous price. He said he'd get with the contractor and get back to us. He never called us back. The plumber was filthy both times he arrived. I didn't even want him in our house. Maybe for nearly $400, he can afford a new pair of white socks. Both times here, his socks were dirty white socks that were brown. Terrible experience.
