Leah, the manager is wonderful but her hands are tied. Next door @ North Fork Storage (a new facility) they quoted me a 12x15 for $130 per month. I'll factually highlight that they're gauging. I've been a customer for 6+ years. I rented a 10 x 15 in 2021 that cost me $110 a year and if I paid The entire year at once I got one month free. This brought the price to about $100 a month. Four years later they are charging me $164 a month. That's a 64% increase in four years (an average of 16% per year!) Even Biden, and his lousy policies, didn't produce that kind of inflation, he's at 5.2%! So airport Storage, which has no real consumable material costs, is charging a good customer 300% the inflation rate during the Biden administration. This is nothing but a money grab, and especially shady as hell since when I called their service center I can rent the same 10x15 unit today for $147 per month at the same facility. So they're just sticking it to us. Stay away from this place. They're price gauging

I was needing a storage unit in June or July for my son, a college student, and was seriously getting worried that we would not be able to secure one. Matthew put us on their waiting list. Most of all: they are easy going and there's no hassle when it is time to move out. Just call to let them know you've moved your things out, give the unit a sweeping, and take your lock. No notice required. We will absolutely come here if we need a storage unit again. The only downside: the annoying use of "your" instead of "you're" on the gate sign. But it gave me a chuckle every time I drove in.

NOT nice people running it and they overly enforce those rules, for what reason, I'm not sure. We needed a storage so we could have everything in one spot a couple week before we relocated to the bay area. Everything was smooth until move out day. We had professional movers helping us, they entered the gate behind another car while I was settling paperwork in the office. The gentleman in the office made a HUGE dramatic scene about them "not using the gate card". He stated that, in the event one of our movers "opened someone elses storage or something was stolen" we would be held liable, as they were illegally on the premises because they didn't swipe a key card according to him. This sounds like something made up, but I apologized and let him know we were unaware of that rule and it wouldn't happen again. I guess my apology for our honest mistake wasn't enough because he followed us out to our unit and confronted the movers. He scalded them like young children who had knowingly broken rules. It was, in my opinion embarrassing for all involved. I felt bad for the movers because they were hired to be there to help. It wasn't their fault and he couldn't give anyone a break. I apologized over and over again once he left, it wasn't right of him. His tone was forceful and snide. Adults have zero business speaking to other adults that way. He treated them like criminals.They didn't break into the storage facility, it was the first time any of them had heard "the rule" of not entering behind another car. The gate was left open at one point during the evening and he made the humongous semi wait and drive thru the other side. Don't get me wrong, I understand the need for gate codes and key cards. Safety in this day and age are very important. With that being said, there is a fine line when enforcing rules and being on a power trip. He needs to watch the way he interacts with people, being rude is bad for business and I will never recommend this place to anyone I know because of him. Also, there is a woman who also takes an annoyed tone with people. I was trying to move out and her final words to me were "you better sweep it out and leave it the way you got it or you'll be charged 20$". Treat people the way you want to be treated. End of story.

Then, about a year ago, I called to make payment and noticed the next day that the money wasn't getting withdrawn from my bank. I called back and have the same problem again. I was getting frustrated, but I kept my cool. They'd just make weird excuses and tell me it was getting handled. I dealt with three staff there on the phone, all of them had cold attitudes and none of them would let me speak with the owners, who I had no other way to contact, living on the opposite side of the country. Nothing they said to me made any sense, they just kept telling me the payments were fine when nothing was getting charged and they weren't making any effort to prove their claim, they wouldn't send me a receipt, they told me I had to come into the office to get a receipt. I got a friend who was visiting the area to go check my unit for me and she said when she got there, there was a manager's padlock on my unit. The staff all acted scared of her, at 5'2" my friend is very kind and in no way intimidating, and that confirmed my suspicions. I got my stuff out of there as quickly as possible. I gave these people my business for over a decade, paid my rent on time, there was never any question about our transactions, then suddenly, they turned on me for no reason. Draw whatever conclusions you like, I cannot even begin to speculate what the deal is there, I'm just glad I got out when I did.
