Lilia was extremely helpful and kind and did overtime work to help me get auto insurance. She answered all my questions about limits and deductibles and made copies for my email. All my questions were answered kindly. She was very personal and very human -- a trait I really admire in people. She made extra phone calls to other state's to help me get information that I needed. You would think that they'd show a little common courtesy by doing their job in an efficient manner. They left us, two females, stranded on the side of the freeway for over 4hours. What are we paying for?? We've been a member for 30yrs. With this kind of treatment I'd rather just pay out of pocket. 4 hours!? Insane! Worst than the DMV. They kept telling me I needed more forms every visit. Went back and forth 5 times in 2 days. Ended up just going to DMV. They could have gave me all the forms initially. The employees act like entitled DMV employees. I'm considering switching my insurance this was one of the reasons I didn't mind the higher insurance prices. read more

I've only used them for DMV services, so I cannot comment on insurance, travel, etc. The DMV staff are friendly, and if you have all of your paperwork in order, you are in and out of there in a flash! Hardly any wait time any of the times I've been there. Only downside is they only take cash or check. No debit or credit cards. That would have got them another star from me. Still beats going to the actual DMV. read more

My boyfriend and I were on a road trip in a bus with a broken fuel sensor and ran out of gas on the interstate. I was an AAA member, so after walking in 95 degree weather, we decided to visit this location to see if we could get some assistance. The manager there, Dave, was so kind and helpful. He offered us water and took time out of his day to get us back on the road. We are so grateful for Dave and AAA. I just had the most excellent service from Danielle P. in the Vallejo CSAA office. Due to a mix up on a fender bender I had back in May, the agent handling the case neglected to file a SR-71 financial responsibility form w/DMV and my license got suspended! AAHHH!! Not to worry, Danielle to the rescue....she asked if I would hold on the line while she contacted the DMV immediately. It was just a couple of minutes later and the suspension and fines were lifted with no penalties and my license restored.....WOW! Not only that she sent me an e-mail also confirming everything. Despite the previous error by the agent her professional and quick response relived all my anxiety and stress. I am in sales myself so I appreciate her very prompt actions in my behalf. While going here is always better than the DMV, sometimes the demeanor of the DMV services staff here at AAA can match that of the regular DMV employees... I regularly visit to take care of registration and tire transfers as I sell and buy vehicles. Every visit, it seems the DMV services employees have an impatient attitude and come off as un friendly due to their demeanor. While the front desk regular AAA employees and member services are 100x nicer then the DMV services employees. While they do get the job done and things expedited, at least a smile and/or a welcoming and friendly attitude can go a long way. This is a customer service establishment and AAA is known for its exceptional member service, and that should not end at DMV services here in the Vallejo location. So to all DMV services employees, smile, be more patient, have a friendlier tone. It goes a long way to making peoples days better.. at the very least making your customers and members want to look forward to visiting your location and leaving good reviews. I visited the Vallejo Branch for a passport picture. I was checked in promptly and then taken to the station where the photos are taken. This was a smooth and quick process. As in all my visits to this branch I find all employees very helpful. I have always come home with the answers I've needed. A big plus is also the DMV services. My friends have told me what great advice about travel they get at AAA. They do not use the Vallejo office. I have tried twice to get travel information from the Vallejo office, once in person and once over the phone. No one was available to help when I went into the office. I was left sitting in the waiting area for over a hour. No one returned my phone call when I left a message. I think I will try a different office next time. read more
