I called and they answered the phone, took info, and I waited 1 1/2 days for someone to call me back. She asked for photos which I emailed quickly and stated they would give me an estimate to remove the bees. I've yet to hear back and probably never will. Don't waste your own time or money to any business that won't follow up. Used another service that came out the same day, on time as stated, did a great job for a very fair price. Glad I didn't waste any more time with this company that didn't have common decency to return a request for service. read more

I'm so grateful to Sergio and his bee whisperer for coming to get the bees out of our roof. They opened up the roof, removed the bees (alive) and closed the roof back up and tonight we can hardly tell they were here!! Our next door neighbors had bees in their outside garbage can and Sergio's team harvested them too. It was a BUSY afternoon for them. Thank you AA Beekeeper!! read more

Sergio was polite and is very experience with the bee removal. Took an hour and a half to remove 4 long honey combs in our wall. Bees came through outside near roof and heard bees through our walls. Cleaned up well and was keen in describing process. Definitely 5 stars! read more

As a backyard gardener I know that bees are beneficial, but not when they are attached to your house! This business stood out among other services because they don't exterminate, they remove and relocate. Sergio and Ray came to our home on a Sunday. They were knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations for service and courtesy. The kids were amazed to see and touch the honeycomb. Bee kind and use this service. They're the best!!! read more

A little over a year ago we had a beehive in a column in our back yard. Sergio came out and removed it quickly. They had to cut into the column to remove it and patched the location. They gave us a 1 year warranty for the removal. About 8 months later, another colony got into the column. Sergio came out and removed it no charge. We just had a third colony get in and even though we were a little past our 1 year warranty he moved the hive again free of charge. He put extra screen around the bottom of the wall to prevent them from coming back. I truly appreciate that they honor their warranty, and even went above and beyond to take care of us even though we were past the 1 year mark. It's rare to find people and companies who are willing to go the extra mile to serve their customers and I'm so happy we chose AA Beekeeper! Thank you Sergio! read more

I called Sunday morning and within the hour, I spoke to Sergio and was able to come to my house and check out our bee situation in the afternoon. When he got to my house, he was able to pinpoint where the bee colony was located which was on the rooftop (T top vent). He was very knowledgeable and explained the step by step procedure to fix the problem. It was a time consuming project and he was able to remove all the bees. Not only did he complete the live removal off all the bees, but he also installed a screen on the vent to prevent bees from returning in the future. Sergio was competent, thorough and trustworthy. He did a fantastic job and I give him my highest recommendation. If you encounter a bee situation in your home, AA Bee Keeper Live Bee Removal company is the way to go. This company is licensed and bonded and has been around for 30 years. You won't BEE disappointed. Emanuel M. Chula Vista, CA read more

Sergio and the entire team were professional, compassionate, and really willing to help; most importantly, we appreciated their same-day service. We had large grouping of bees covering two palm tree branches, and we wanted the bees relocated somewhere "more comfortable" for them and us. Sergio came by later that day, and an hour after his arrival, the bees were heading to their new home on an avocado farm in Escondido. Super for the bees and us! read more

We noticed some bees hanging out along the roof line. After watching for a few days, we called another service. He came and looked and told us that they were "scout bees" and they would move along shortly. We went about our business but they seemed to come and go. After several more weeks, we noticed an uptick in activity and decided to get a second opinion. I reached out to AA-Beekeeper early on a Monday morning using their website form. Ingrid called me within an hour of the opening of their office and said they would have a tech, Rene, come out and look at it that same day. He called us when he was on his way. He was personable and friendly and was very mindful of the Covid requirements, always wearing his mask and keeping a safe distance. He assessed the situation, went into the attic, and found the hive we were afraid was there. He took video and photos so he could show us what we were up against. He explained what needed to be done in detail, gave us a verbal estimate, and told us we would receive a written estimate with all of the details via email. We received a written estimate within 30 minutes. I was able to accept the estimate right away and they scheduled our repair for the next day. From the time I made the call to having the hive removed was just 36 hours, which was pretty impressive and certainly gave us peace of mind. The removal required removing roof tiles and accessing the attic through the weather paper and roof sheathing. Rene and a roofer arrived the next morning on time and started to work. He took pictures along the way to show us what the hive looked like, how they were capturing the bees, and how the roof was accessed and after shots so we could see that everything was put back together. He saw another spot along the vents along the roof that could be a potential future access point and went ahead and shored that area up with some mesh to try and prevent a repeat in a different area and did not charge us extra to do so. After he finished, he walked me through everything that was done and told me how they would be re-homing the bees. He texted a couple of hours after the job was done and thanked us for our business and told us what to expect as far as bee activity over the next few days. Outstanding service experience! Can't recommend Rene and the team at AA Beekeeper highly enough. read more

Excellent service. Responded right away to our call about a swarm of bees that landed in our backyard. Removed and relocated the hive with speed and care. Also repaired anything they did to obtain access to the bees. Would definitely recommend and use again if needed read more

Great job! Removed the bees fast with no chemicals and donate the bees to a local farm! I would use them again! Great price as well! Thanks

They were incredibly responsive when I called about bees in my hot tub. Bella came out within just a couple of hours of my call. She explained exactly what was going on with the hive, what she was going to do, and how much it would cost before she got started. Bella was very thoughtful about answering my questions and careful around my stuff. It was a great outcome to know the bees will be able to do their important work somewhere else and I would recommend AA Beekeeper to anyone. Thanks, Bella! read more

UPDATE 7/6/2018 : Still 5 stars! We got hit with yet ANOTHER bee swarm. This time in our backyard. Guess they love our property. Called AA in the morning and they were out a few hours later and quickly removed the bee hive forming in a tree in our backyard. Rene was super nice and friendly. He removed the bees from the tree and did a super great job of cleaning any leaves or branches he had to cut away. A+ Called AA Beekeeper on Tuesday as I saw bees swarming into my roof. They came out on Wednesday to inspect and give me an estimate. They were very competitive on pricing as I got some other estimates. Sergio showed up on Thursday and got to work. Had a big hive settle in a very difficult spot in my roof but Sergio figured it out. He not only deals with bee removal but he's a professional roofer so having someone as nice as him with his skill set in this kind of situation is extremely valuable. Took him and co-worker about 5-6 hours to get to the beehive inside my roof, clear them out, bee-proof that area and put it all back together. Sergio is a super nice guy and very informative. He even noticed a broken tile on my roof and offered to stop by and repair it (given he found some spare tiles on my roof). I definitely recommend Sergio and the rest of the crew at AA-Beekeeper. read more

Excellent service all around!! Alicia took my call and was very informative on how the process works and answered all my questions as this was the first time I had ever had to deal with a bee problem. Victor came out the next day and got right to it. Over the course of the next 2 days the bees cane back and created a huge ball on the outside of where he sealed them out. Victor was a phone call away and more than happy to help. He even followed up with a phone call a week later to make sure they had not come back. I would highly recommend this company. read more

I would give more than five stars if I could. These guys are fantastic! Professional, reliable, on time and most of all - absolutely caring about our bees. I am a beginner with a hive that grew very fast and very large and I needed it checked to see what my next step would be. Got great help with more assistance to come and the inspection was free of charge - who does that anymore? You can never learn enough about anything and I learned al lot again today. I live in Temecula and the extreme hot temps here can really put some stress on our bees. They will look for water and possibly an alternate food source like humming bird feeders, so don't freak out when they do. late afternoon they will all go back to their hives to tend to each other. You are in VERY good hands using this company for any of your bee situations. We all need our bees and our bees need people like the AA-Beekeepers. Now bee safe and bee kind!! read more

We had a beehive up in the attic of the third floor of our house. My neighbor had the same problem and he got AA-Beekeeper to remove the hive from his third story, so I gave them a call and asked them to come do mine. Less than a week later we are bee-free. These guys are consummate professionals. They know bees and the know how to remove them without harming the hive. They are also expert roofers which came in handy in my case because they had to cut a hole in the roof above where the hive was located, so they could remove the hive, which was very big (about 15,000 or more bees). After removing the hive they put a smaller gauge screen on the attic vent so that the bees could not return. Then they sealed up the roof and they were done. It all took about four hours to accomplish. I really did not want to do anything to harm the bees (they have enough problems these days what with colony collapse syndrome, mites, pollution, etc.) so I didn't go the route of trying to exterminate them. Apparently it doesn't always work anyway, as the bees will often return when the toxic chemicals dissipate. I really am glad that we were able to find a new home for the bees instead of trying to kill them all. I cannot say enough good things about AA-Beekeepers. Sergio and Victor are true experts. They are really nice people too. I couldn't believe how courageous they are in carrying out their work. Highly recommended if you have a bee colony living above your ceiling! read more

Sergio and his team came out to remove two hives from our in-progress deck construction. One hive was in each pillar about 10' up. They were able to access by removing plywood without having to cut into the pillars. The bees were safely vacuumed up and all the comb and honey removed, then everything was put back together and sealed up. It only took the bees a week to make a hive the size of a soccer ball so hopefully they won't be back. read more

AA Beekeepers removed a large hive from my spa recently. I was very impressed with removal process. Marco first inspected the location of the honeycombs then provided a very excellent price below several competitor quotes. His work was both methodical and efficient in removing all the combs, wax and honey residues to prevent residual bee infestation. He cleaned up around site to my compleye satisfaction Marco is very experienced and knowledgeable answering my many questions and explaining the technique used to get the hive safely removed and relocated. Dear Alicia V., You wrote in your public reply to my Yelp review, "We take great pride in providing quick service and thorough follow through. We are sorry if this was not your experience.." Um, "if"? Did you not read my review. Quick service and follow through was absolutely not my experience. And yeah, thanks for the free inspection? Ed called me that evening asking if he could still send a tech by, and I texted back absolutely not, I wanted nothing to do with AA-Beekeeper any more at that point. But lo and behold, I pull into my driveway and who do I see speaking to my wife in front of my house? A technician from AA-Beekeeper. The poor guy had no clue of what had just gone down, and was sent blindly to a pissed off former customer's house. He apologized on behalf of your company. Was I going to be an a$$ and tell him to leave? No. He had already completed the free inspection before I got there. So yeah, if your company prides itself on quality and follow through, you might want to work on that. read more

Victor is on the San Diego Beekeeping Society list, which is why we called him. He was in the area and was here within the hour. I asked if I could watch so he gave me a "suit and head gear to wear). There were hundreds of bees in that drawer and also a large bee hive (with a honey comb. He vacuumed up the bees (half full of live bees) and cleaned up the hive and vacuumed the bees in the drawer and around the outside of drawer. He removed the drawer, cleaned it and left it out (said to leave it for two weeks). He said a few bees would be flying around for a while but should leave in a couple of weeks. If some came back and formed a small ball they would most likely die. I was so happy that he quickly took care of my bee problems and there hasn't been a sign of any since!! read more
