Sergio was awesome. They came out super quickly to inspect our house after a swarm was trying to move in. Over the weekend we had bees coming in through our fireplace, and I was totally freaked out. I called probably 10 people and AA was the first to respond and tell me they could come out same day. They were honest and told me that the bees had seemed to move on, if I ever need bee removal- they will surely be the ones I call. I would recommend to anyone! Sincerely, thank you read more

Sergio came out and removed bees from my garage. He was a pro and did the whole job in about 2 hours. He cut the drywall, suctioned out the bees, replaced the drywall then repaired the hole on the outside of the house. I would recommend them. The quote was $450 but charged $500 due to larger repair job than expected. I still haven't heard back from the office with an updated receipt of payment in full. read more

Excellent service. During the busy time of year, they responded quickly and took care of our bee infestation right away. Thank you!

Great customer service. We encountered an unexpected bee problem in our backyard, and wasn't sure if any company would be readily available same day (esp. on a Sunday which was also same day of daylight savings time!) Sergio called me back right away and said he could have someone come out to our home in 2-3 hours. Quoted price was reasonable too. Rene arrived within that time frame and explained the process. This was helpful, especially this was our first time dealing with bee removal. I would recommend this company to family, friends, and coworkers. read more

I came home this afternoon to a massive swarm of bees coming in and out of the vents in my roof. See pic. I previously noticed a few scattered bees loitering around the same area for the previous week, and a few had made their way into my kid's bathroom, but didn't think much of it. I called Sergio, the owner, and he could hear I was pretty concerned so he made the effort to come to my house at 5pm on a Saturday. I explained the situation and what I had observed and he was adamant that there was a colony in my attic. I was skeptical because I crawled into the attic before he arrived and found no evidence of a swarm, so I thought maybe the swarm was just using the eaves of my house to shelter from the rain. But he insisted that he would find a colony; it was just hiding in a spot I couldn't see. So, I trusted him and I let him peel back the tiles and carve a hole in the roof. Sure enough, he pulled out a massive colony that was forming. I couldn't believe it. The whole operation took about 2.5 hours, which included fixing the roof, and working past dark under floodlights to get the job done. I was very impressed with his service and the price was very fair. Trust his intuition; he knows what he's talking about. I'm happy to support this small business and would highly recommend him. read more

Buzz buzz! Bees decided to make their home on my fence one day. The next morning I needed to get someone to the house. The fence is pretty low and I didn't want my dog to get hurt from the bees. They came to the house within a couple of hours and were able to examine everything and give an estimate. They did the work and now no more bees. The bees were trying to make their home inside the fence so we caught them in time. They noticed there were about 30 inside the fence. They were great and really professional. Answered all our questions about the bee removal process. I highly recommend them if you have bees buzzing around. read more

We had a honey bee hive in a home that was in escrow for sale. We reached out to AA and they visited home within 2 hours of the call and gave an estimate. The group arrived on time and managed to do the work on budget in the time schedule they anticipated. It wasn't simple. The bees managed their way into a cement wall. Now they have a new more suitable home in San Diego! Home will close escrow in November! read more

We had about 20,000 unexpected guests move into our attic. Marcos and Bella came out and removed them for us and educated my kids and me in the process. It was fascinating. They had to cut into our master bedroom ceiling but patched it nicely so we could have the drywall repaired later. They kept the honeycomb with the brood and left us with samples of the pollen collected and early nectar to taste. It took about 6 days for the poor bees that were left behind to no longer come back. Marcos and Bella worked quickly and professionally and were so nice to share their knowledge with us. I hope I don't have to have them back but if I do I know who to call. read more

We just got back from a vacation to finding our first set of renters in our newly constructed ADU. These little essential workers had moved in sometime in the last 2-3 weeks and built a hive quick! We wanted to save the bees so we called AA beekeepers to relocate, and we're so glad we did. Sergio was able to fit us in within 24hrs of me calling, and during this peak season we're so appreciative of that. Issac was able to come quickly & safely remove the bees and his cut and patch working in our new soffit/fascia was finished flawlessly. I found a half dozen bees in my kitchenand could hear bees in my kitchen vent over the stove, so I looked at the vent outside of my house and saw bees flying in and out of it. I called my large/contracted pest control company to come out and help me with it and they gave me a non-committal answer as to when they would help. I wasn't sure if this bee problem would grow, and needed professional help with it. I googled and found AA Beekeeper online, and called them. Immediately got responses back and scheduled a tech to come out the next morning. One of their technicians, Rene C., came out and was very helpful - he showed me what to look for and how to prevent more bees from entering my home. He even put up a new grate and caulking around the vent, and made sure there were no bees. Fortunately, it looks like the bees that were in my house were scout bees, according to Rene, so there weren't any bees that morning. But he didn't need to put up the grating or caulking, and did it anyway, free of charge. I will only go to AA Beekeeper for any bee removal needs now. Thanks, Rene! read more

A small hive appeared in our composter a couple of weeks ago. I called AA Beekeeper and scheduled a visit. Now the bees and the small honeycomb they'd started are gone. I was told the hive would be taken to an avocado orchard in Fallbrook. The folks at AA-Beekeeper were pleasant to work with. I didn't want to kill the bees, but $250 seems a lot to pay to save them. But it was the same price quoted as other services, so that appears to be the going rate for a simple small removal. I wouldn't hesitate to call AA-Beekeeper again in the future. read more

Thank you Sergio for coming to my house and giving me a free inspection. I actually called a couple of other bee removal companies who came to look at my problem but they were not as caring, diligent and willing to educate me like Sergio was. I saw a lot of bees swarming around my attic vent holes on the second story and around my laundry vent. He explained to me why the bees were around those areas; and that they were harmless at this stage because they were just "scouting". He really cared about the bees and that was important to me. He used all natural smoke to flush out any bees in my vent (no chemical sprays like I saw the other company use in my attic holes the day prior) to make the sure the bees weren't harmed and he put in a mesh for me for free to block the bees from going in just so that I had peace of mind. Sergio was extremely friendly, personable and easy to connect with. He is also well connected and was able to refer me to his friend for another job I need to get done around the house. I highly recommend him for any of your bee concerns. read more

We have a couple of chickens in our backyard and around 15 to 20 bees arrived consistently for several days in a row. Right before we went out of town for a long weekend, they didn't show up for 2 days in a row so we thought they had decided to move on. Over the weekend, we had a neighbor taking care of our chickens while we were away and 20 or so bees had arrived again to scout the location. We called AA Beekeeper and talked with a woman whom was extremely knowledgeable and told us what to expect. Basically, we just needed to wait to see if the hive decided to relocate to our chicken coop or if they were no longer interested. When we got back into town about a day or two after that, the hive had definitely arrived! There were literally hundreds and hundreds of bees in the shape of a football attached to our coop. We called AA Beekeeper back and they came out the next morning to smoke and remove them - alive! Victor Montufar did an amazing job calmly and methodically smoking (this stuns and disorients them) and vacuuming them up using a modified bucket within a bucket and an air mattress pump. It was fascinating - from a safe distance anyway!! We talked with Victor quite a bit and he explained that he basically takes them to his home and puts them in a closed box hive so they can acclimate and establish their hive. Once they have done that then he keeps them for a couple of weeks and then relocates them to someone's bee farm or home bee farm - very cool! Wholeheartedly recommend AA Beekeeper from their office staff to their technicians. We had a great experience and learned a lot! read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mom. She had a swarm of bees attach to the side of her chimney and on the ground of her patio that showed up literally overnight. She called another company to come out that she had used before, and not only was the man rude, but he quoted her $2600 (she had it previously had the job done a couple years ago for $200 from the same company). She was so shocked by this quote, she decided to call AA, and Sergio came out to her house on the same day and was able to take care of the bees for under $200. Also, he was very kind, and extremely honest in his work. We have saved his number and highly recommend Sergio and AA for any bee issues. Thank you Sergio read more

I noticed they be swarm last Saturday on the 3rd. They only stayed for an hour or two. But I had called several bee companies and I left voicemails asking for them to come out. A friend of mine told me that it was probably just bees looking for a new home. Unfortunately the bees came back everyday and started nesting on a solar light. I tried calling several bee companies in San Diego but no one answered or called back. I called AA Bee keeper yesterday on the 9th and they told me they would be able to come out today on the 10th. Because it was the busy season they could not guarantee a time frame and said I would have to be flexible for whenever someone was in the area. I receive a call around 1:00 p.m. that they could come within 15 minutes. They came in assess the area, safely remove the bees, and that was it. Just as an FYI for people there is a minimum charge. Because mine was in an open area and the beginning of a hive, I didn't get charged horribly. But I'm assuming from the other reviews that the price can get pretty high depending on how complicated the bee removal is. There were two people that came by, I can only remember Mario's name. But they're also very nice. My daughters couldn't help but look through the backyard as they were removing the bees, and they came by with the new hive/box to show them all the bees through the sliding glass door. They also did a good job of keeping their masks on and staying six feet away from everyone. read more

Had a beehive just larger than the size of a soccer ball hanging under the eaves of our 2 story house. Our neighbors were concerned about it because they have a dog that stays outside during the day. Of all the bee removal companies that I found on Yelp, this was the only company that was available on short notice. All of the others were booked 3-4 weeks out, and we didn't want to wait that long. They came out to inspect the bees during the week, I didnt have to be home for that which was nice. They removed the bees that Saturday morning and it took about an hour. They said they got the queen, and we watched as the leftover group of bees got smaller and smaller, it took about 3 weeks for them to fully go away. We paid about $350 for the services. I would use them again if I had to, and would recommend their services to anyone who has a similar situation. read more

At first, it was just one bee in our bathroom. The next day another bee got in. On the third day (a Sunday), there were several bees in the bathroom. Some dead and some flying around. We removed them and I contacted 2 companies on Yelp. One did not reply and this one asked me to call on Monday to schedule an estimate. On Monday morning (yesterday), as I was getting ready to leave for a minor surgical procedure, several bees were coming into the bathroom while I was getting ready. I called them and arranged for them to come while I was gone. My adult son would be here and I also gave them the number for my husband. We were able to meet with the tech later. The bees were getting in through a hole in the outside wall that a contractor had left open. He used a camera to inspect that area. He said he couldn't locate a queen and most likely the bees were just "scouting" for a place to nest. He sealed where they were coming in from the outside, sealed the bathroom light fixture and used smoke to ensure they were gone. The next day, we saw bees coming in from an area just outside the bathroom where they originally came in. Sergio, the owner, came by and said they normally wouldn't cover this under the warranty but he took care of it. He sealed the new entry point and also sealed an area where our A/C conduit entered the attic. In addition, he sealed a bronze exhaust fan and did such a good job of it that we could barely tell where it was done. There was some initial confusion about what is included in their price and what is covered in the warranty. As with any work on your home, be sure to get them to give you a complete estimate stating exactly what they will do before you agree to pay them. read more
