If I could give these guys more than 5 stars I would! I hired A2Z to clean up moisture damage in the floors of our second bathroom. Afik, the owner, was great throughout the process, explaining everything and making sure his team had all of the proper instructions for the job. They were able to save our bathroom vanity and kept the wall tiles in tact. The crew members were very considerate and careful about saving all of the fixtures they had to remove and the job was completed on time. They even had to deal with the extra chaos of the major repaving of my street and our narrow driveway. I hope I never have to have work like this done again but if I do I will definitely use A2Z! read more

A2Z responded quickly to our request for an estimate -- we had a broken sewage pipe in the crawl space in our HOA...there was a huge mess under one of our buildings! A2Z provided a competitive cost and were able to start in a few hours after that, which was critical to contain the damage and its consequences for the residents of our community. Their crew was very efficient and worked hard to get the job done. Afik was very communicative throughout the process, and answered all the questions we had. Thanks Afik and team for helping us dealing with this issue! read more

As good as it gets! After a major issue with some water pipes that leaked in our crawl space, Afik and his team came to the rescue and took care of everything. I mean, everything. Dealing with contractors when poop goes wrong is not fun, but Afik and team took away the stress and the worry. I would 120% suggest A2Z. DM me if you want more details. read more

Afik, the owner, is a such kind and wonderful human being. I have been wanting to install a crawl space moisture barrier and after reading all the Yelp reviews I decided to give A2Z Restoration a call. Afik scheduled a home visit a few days later to inspect my crawl space. He provided a fair quote for the installation and also suggested alternative remediations that might be better suited for my particular concrete foundation. He was incredibly generous with his time and friendly answering all my questions. If I do conclude that the moisture barrier is the best option I will definitely be hiring A2Z Restoration to complete the job. read more

My condo suffered water damage throughout the whole place that was caused by the tenant. I personally don't know A2Z Restoration and was recommended by my property manager. Afik (owner) and his crew showed up early the next morning and got started. Afik's team immediately dried out the place, removed the flooring, drywall, and cabinets. The damage was so severe that the work took longer than expected. Afik kept me updated daily with email and photos. I'm happy with the works he had done. The workers were skilled, professional and courteous. I'd recommend A2Z Restoration. read more

Prompt communication, does great work (as vouched by an independent inspector we hired), courteous staff, and honest pricing. In fact, there was a miscommunication with one of the new project managers and the owner didn't charge us for for the extra costs. If I need help again in the future, I would definitely call A2Z again! read more

This contractor is quick to act. I have a rental property that had a mold problem and they took care of the problem in a few days. All was done without a face to face meeting. All arranged over the phone and email. Thanks A2Z. read more

I use Afik for few of my restoration projects and I'm very happy , good communication, working fast , fair price . Highly recommended

Afik was incredibly helpful with our mold issue, which turns out wasn't much of an issue! I called Afik to get a second opinion after another mold remediation company scared me into believing I needed thousands of dollars of work done on our house, and he took a look at some pictures and assured me what I was seeing was just something that was superficial and could be removed with a little cleaning. When I mentioned I had small children in the house, he could tell I wasn't fully reassured, so he offered to come take a look, even though he knew we probably didn't need any work done. When he came, he was super helpful and let me know the best way to clean it, and reassured me there was nothing to worry about, especially since our mold testing report came back clean. I'm incredibly grateful that he saved me thousands of dollars and was honest about the work that did not need to be done. This is the kind of business you want to hire - they are full of integrity and know what they are doing. read more

Water damage in your home is a nightmare. We had a pinhole leake in a hot water line under the house that created a mold and mildew problem in the substructure as well as between the floors and moisture barrier (the moisture barrier can only do so much and is not effective against sauna conditions). Afik is a true professional in remediation and a pleasure to work with - he really will have your best interest in mind. Afik knew exactly what was needed and was great with the insurance adjuster, who was in agreement with him from the start - a huge relief. The crew at A2Z are professional, hard working, and respectful of the fact they are in your home (and under it). I would recommend A2Z without reservation. I would also recommend you look into Flume Water, an inexpensive way to monitor water usage and detect leaks quickly: would have saved us tens of thousands of dollars in damage. read more

I reached out to A2Z after my refrigerator line burst. Afik came out immediately and accessed the damage. He insisted I get other bids but after speaking with him about the project I felt comfortable and confident moving forward with A2Z. Through out the process Afik helped me work with my insurance company and eased a stressful situation for my wife and I. His crew was extremely professional and respectful with our possessions and our home. I hope I never need their services again but if I do A2Z will be my first call. read more

After the extreme winter we experienced this year our house like many others suffered from water damage both interior and exterior. While searching for the company that would do the work needed for the water damage , mold remediation and flood control we met afik (owner). The previous bids that we received were fairly priced but the feeling we had from the other reps that came to give us an estimate was that they came to come in and out without any considaration of the human beings that are behind the project. Afik from the first minute he came to our home presented knowledge security and the care to the people that he is working with. In general the best thing that can happen to you after an unfortunate situation is having a2z do the work for you. Thumbs up afik and the whole a2z operation read more

My crawl space suffered from some moisture issues that lead to some fungus issues. It wasn't horrible, but I wanted to have it taken care of to avoid future complications. Afik came out for a free estimate and showed such gratitude for the opportunity. He was very thorough and told me what needed to be done, but did not try to sell me on extra fluff. The other estimates I got were okay, but I felt like the people were in a hurry to get elsewhere. The price for the remediation was great. The lowest estimate for the highest quality work! I needed a moisture barrier installed, as well. Afik coordinated with the moisture barrier company to time everything perfectly. It was great to not have to play the middle person to try to get everyone's schedules in sync. A2Z's crew was really nice and worked hard to make sure the job was done right. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer and more honest person than Afik. Don't hesitate to reach out to A2Z Restoration. Afik and his team will take care of you and make the process easy and stress-free. Five stars and an A+ for A2Z Restoration. read more

I called Afik out for an inspection after water flooded my basement and crawl space in the recent storms. Afik explained to me that I needed to find someone who does drainage first, not a restoration guy. Otherwise, the problem was going to keep coming back. He was polite and respectful though I had effectively wasted his time today, 5 stars for that. He even recommended someone to call for my drainage issue. I'll be saving his number for any future issues. read more

Our laundry machine flooded on 3 layer engineered wood, water everywhere flowing 10 feet into the dining room. A2z very professional and responsive, modern equipment, within one week everything was dry and the floors were saved. Great great team. read more

After the recent storm, we had multiple leaks in our ceiling. We were in desperate need of help and on top of that we were disheartened by multiple no show contractors that promised to drop by the house. We are just very thankful we have found a2z restoration because it was effortless to work with them! Omri, Benito and Teo made the entire thing stress free. Omri was very prompt, communicated well and kept us up to date with everything. He was clear, didn't beat around the bush and explained everything thoroughly. Benito and Teo tirelessly worked throughout the day and were meticulous from start to finish. I also appreciate the fact that they kept the house clean even if they were demolishing drywall all over the place. They are also very polite! I probably said this so many times already but I just want to say thanks to these guys again. Thank you! I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

We called and the owner Afik came out the same day and was super helpful. He was very professional and honest! Can't say that enough. Afik is very quick to come and give quote. Very helpful and this goes to his whole team as well. I have a toddler and they made sure that the area is enclosed and didn't even make me help with anything. Very thorough and makes job done excellently. Afik, Ben and his crew were all amazing. Finding mold in my laundry room turned a small dryer vent project into a huge downstairs renovation project. As a first time homeowner the situation felt stressful and overwhelming. Ben came over to assess the site and give me a quote, he answered all my questions and was very forward and honest about what the mold remediation process would look like. They had a cancellation and were able to fit me in early the following week. As the crew began working they found more mold, the project became much larger than any of us anticipated, Ben called me with every update and change. They took pictures of the job as it progressed, which is extremely helpful for me to have on file. Everyday the crew they left the area clean, and organized. Their work was extremely thorough. Afik, the owner of the company, came for a final inspection when the job was complete. It is hard to find people that you can trust and that do not take advantage; I feel very fortunate to have found A2Z and would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family! Thank you all again for the great work!! read more

Afik is professional, reasonable, kind and an expert. We experienced a mold situation that no one should ever have to deal with and we finally found Afik after two attempts at mold remediation and third time was a charm. The remediation process was unlike the first two and we went from not passing mold tests to passing with flying colors because the room was locked and wrapped in plastic so that no outside air or people could get into the space. The team placed paper all along the floor to prevent any damage to our carpets and they were professional, arriving on time and doing exactly what they said they would. I could not recommend more. Thank you to Afik and his team. read more

A company you can trust and a company that cares about their customers. Afik inspected my home, gave me his professional advice, and didn't charge me a dime. Afik even went out his way to talk about my house structure based on his past experiences. I'm more than happy I called this company and they are definitely the best company in the Bay Area. All the good reviews are true. Thanks again A2Z , you guys are a blessing. read more

I did not end up working with A2Z as my project wasn't the best fit but I feel compelled to write a review due to the amazing customer service, integrity and attention to detail they showed when they did their walk through. read more

This review is going to be long, but broken down into categories for your easier perusal. CUSTOMER SERVICE Immediate response time to my first inquiry (less than 2 hours). Professional exchange of info, details back and forth. Thorough explanation of scope of services and required time for the mold remediation process. PRICING I obtained 3 estimates where the spreads in the pricing were obscene. AtoZ was in the middle, with a thorough pricing contract outlining their performance of services. PERFORMANCE OF SERVICES Outstanding on-site performance and follow through, tidiness, cleaning. Staff performed a detailed, thorough cleaning/wiping/sweeping. Their actual services were beyond whatever you imagined. Entire staff was meticulous and incredibly detail oriented. Very friendly, warm, and professional demeanor. Home was left in immaculate condition. Exceeded expectations by a milestone. The owner was super helpful; he also advised me on the next steps I should take after his company finished the plaster demolition/mold cleanup. No question that you won't regret giving this company a call/text/email to ascertain what they can do for you. read more

As a realtor I get to work with many contractors and trades people. Afik was hired by a buyer, to inspect a home we were selling. I worked with Omri back in April for mold remediation in our kitchen as well as the Jack and Jill bathroom. He was super responsive and didn't waste any time in starting the remediation process-- which I absolutely appreciated. When the HOA's broken drain pipes wreaked havoc in our home, it was Afik and his team (Jose, Alfredo) who arrived to save the day. Punctual, courteous and professional, they explained the remediation process from start to finish and immediately proceeded to tackle the issues at hand. With calm assurance, they worked in organized fashion to rid not only the inside but also our crawl space of water and mold. It bears special mentioning that they patiently secured our home with thick, protective sheeting to ensure no damage or cross-contamination. Even the mold clearance hygienist was impressed with the solid build of A2Z's containment barrier! And the precision with which Afik's team removed the affected floor and wall area caught the eye of our plumber who appreciated the clean cuts. With thoroughness and expert workmanship, Afik and his team went above and beyond for which we can't thank them enough. Hopefully you'll never be in need of a water restoration/mold remediation specialist, but if such a crisis arises, give Afik a call. Not only will he allay your stress, he's honest, highly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his customers. read more

I left my contact detail yesterday, got a call back this morning. A2Z explained to me that they could help with interior restoration, but could not help with detecting where the water entered from the exterior wall. However, I was able to get some suggestion on who to call for my problem. Overall, I'm impressed with the professionalism with the call, even knowing that I may not need A2Z for service this time. Will call again if I do indeed need their service in the future. read more

5 stars is not enough for Afik and A2Z Restoration! We had some water intrusion on multiple walls, and didn't know who to call. A friend referred us to Afik, and he came in right away to help. He got right to work, and knew exactly what he was doing. Multiple fans were set and a de-humidifyer was placed to dry out the walls. Afik did not rest until the job was complete, and he genuinely cared for my family's safety and well being during this stressful time. I highly recommend Afik and his company. They are very knowledgable and professional. read more

We recently had a hot water pipe burst in our kitchen which caused significant damage.  After interviewing three remediation companies, it was clear that A2Z was head and shoulders above its competition. It was an easy choice to select them. 1) A2Z is respectful of your home.   - Omri, the project manager, was wearing a mask for Covid safety.   - Unlike other contractors who often reuse shoe coverings or put them on the wrong way (putting them on while standing outside the house, thus tracking dirt in), Omri had new coverings and took care to put them on the right way. - Omri was equally careful with the protective gear to go into the crawl space.  He had a new plastic suit.  When he was done examining the crawl space, he took off his gear while standing in the crawl space and bagged the protective suit before coming out.  Other contractors just climbed out and removed their suits on our kitchen floor, flinging dirt everywhere. - Two guys were here doing the remediation, and they were wonderful.  The damage affected a wall of cabinets which needed to be removed.  They removed the cabinets very carefully and left the counter and sink intact, enabling me to use my kitchen once they were done.   2) A2Z is knowledgeable about water damage and is thorough and meticulous.   - Omri's examination of the damage was the most thorough of the companies we interviewed.  He was the only one who bothered to test the kitchen cabinets and walls in our pantry.  His assessment of the damage was the most accurate.   - They created a very secure containment zone shielding the rest of the house from mold and noise.   - They work directly with our insurance company. - They have a third-party company test after remediation to confirm all mold is gone.   3) A2Z is fast. - Post remediation, the mold test came out late Friday afternoon. They were at our house Saturday morning to remove and clean up. - They had the final report prepared and submitted to our insurance on Monday.   For water remediation, A2Z is the only company you should choose. read more

This company went above and beyond for my partner and I. They not only gave us an extremely fair price but Afik and his team made sure to be efficient, meticulous with cleanup and surprisingly quiet for a team doing this kind of work. I often forgot that they were working in the house. The work they did was impeccable and I would recommend them to everyone. The thing that really made me want to right this review is how genuine and warm Afik was to us. Often people right reviews when they are disappointed but I could go on and on about this company and their work ethic. Thank you to them a million times over. read more

Afik and his team were amazing! They were at my home within 30 mins of the initial call that we had potential water damage. Afik was direct with me about what was to come and did all of the initial coordination with my insurance company. We found extensive water damage and mold damage, but Afik not only made sure that it was completely contained and remediated, but reassured me that everything was safe and I had no need to panic. As a new homeowner I can't tell you how wonderful it was having that ally in him when mold is discovered! The team performing the work was extremely efficient and clean, taking care to protect my new floors and adhere to covid protocols. The guys worked even on Sunday to make sure our home was safe and completed on time. All the extra documentation for my insurance was taken care of before I ever even asked. While I hope I never need to hire them again, I would absolutely recommend A2Z. Thanks Afik!! read more

I would highly recommend A2Z restoration. I found them to be highly professional, attentive and prompt. I believe they charge fairly and don't cut corners, which is the last thing you want when dealing with the issues they deal with. I got Afik's number from A2Z restoration from a friend after having a terrible experience with a different company. You see, I discovered a lot of mold in our bathroom walls and felt completely defrauded and stranded by the other provider. Afik stayed on the phone with me for two hours while HE was on vacation. He helped me understand what went wrong with the other provider and I eventually was able to recover the bulk of the funds. Then Afik's guys came and quickly and effectively did the job right! read more
