I had to move out of my apartment by December 11th, 2025. On Thursday November 14th, 2024 a Military Veteran Organization called WESTCOP SSVF contracted A W Express, to move my personal possessions to a Storage Room I rented from a Storage Facility. I only needed approximately 90 percent moved, because I need some personal possessions that I need until I need to vacate on Wednesday December 11th, 2024. They conducted the move on ThursdayNovember16th, 2024. There were three employees, and a foreman his name is Joseph. One of the items that was going to stay in the Apartment was a Bulletin Board. The Bulletin Board contain some flyers, and two memorabilia items. They were two Miniature soccer Jersey Car Decorations with suction cups. One Representating the Uruguayan National Soccer Team, the other was a professional soccer club from Uruguay from South America called C.A. Penarol. They were pinned to the Bulletin Board. When they finished the move, It appeared they did an adequate job. On Tuesday December 10th, 2024 I was doing the final move. Then I took the Bulletin Board, and noticed the Miniature soccer Jersey Car Decorations representating C.A. Penarol was missing. I went to the Storage Room and looked for it, but I could not find it. I called Joseph and asked him about the missing memorabilia item. He claimed he did not know about the memorabilia item. I asked him to ask the employees. He told me he would ask them. I called again to find out what they said. He said they did not know. I speculate that he did not ask them. He informed me the company policy was if any item was found. He or the employees would give it to me or leave it on the floor. He said may it flew away. I said the apartment does not have one path, and the item is too heavy for it to fly away. When I called again to inquire about the issue. He told me he was annoyed, that I was calling excessively about the issue. I have looked in my Storage Room at approximately 90 percent of my personal possessions boxes etc and I cannot find it. Finally in conclusion I was very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail, unprofessionalism, and apathetic attitude about my concerns about my missing memorabilia item. My concerns as a customer. I lost a memorabilia item because of the incompetence of this company and its employees. There is a possibility I can find the item. I will know if I still have the memorabilia item, when I move to a house or apartment, look again at the Storage Room and happen to find. Until then I will consider lost. If I happen to find it. Then I will edit my Google Review, text a retraction, and change the Star Rating System from a 1 Star to 4 or 5 Stars. Until then my review and Star Rating stays the same. I' am very disappointed. If I can give minus 1 star I would. I called in the last moment to have them move 1 bedroom set and a bunch of boxes and bins. He tried to charge me 500, in his text he said he was coming with 2 guys. He showed up by himself and with a guy that hangs out in front of the store begging, I asked him if he works with him he said yes. He said he need more guys but never called any. My bedroom set consisted of a platform bed which I informed him was already damaged from the last movers, however, the bed needed to be taken apart, a 6 drawer dresser, a tall dresser, and a night stand. They couldn't get the box spring out, I had to direct them on how to get it out. He didn't want to take a few of the boxes I had, I had to tell him to take them. He was rushing me, he started putting boxes on the truck in any way. After we got everything on the truck, I told him I was taking a uber to the storage unit where I was putting my things. I got to the storage unit in 5 minutes, I called him to ask whr he was he said right behind me, it took him 15 minutes after I got there, to get there. Taking my things off the truck, he only wrapped one of the dressers, unfortunately, the one dresser they didnt wrap they dropped and cracked the drawers. It has to be thrown out, which is the big 6 drawer dresser. And he still expected me to pay him the full price in which he was over charging me from the beginning. He didn't want to pay my grandson, I paid him with the money I took off from them cracking my dresser. I am just now realizing that they stole my Samsung watch. I have been missing it since the move I did a find my device and see that it is at another location. Now I know why they took so long to get to the storage unit they were going through my things. I'm so grateful that I didn't put my designer bags on the truck I will be filing a police report and suing for my watch and dresser. The team was helpful, patient and kind, and everything went smoothly with the loading process on a very hot day. I had my own covers for my couches, but they did an excellent job wrapping the last over-sized chair. These guys were very professional. I attached a couple of photos of the large, long-distance truck and the organization on boxes and other items. The quoting process was good, as Scott was personable and wore a mask inside my home during the COVID-19 lockdown period. The office was OK about the paperwork and emails - just be patient and follow up if needed. I'll also note that the moving company on the delivery end was not so great, but it's probably the roll of the dice. The driver admitted that my dresser was wrapped properly by the loading company, but the delivery guys unwrapped it before moving through the door, which resulted in some minor damage. All boxes arrived. Only one loose, inexpensive patio chair was missing (which I could have prevented had I packed it in a box properly. Overall, I was satisfied given my expectations of the long haul.
