They then brought our stuff up to Catskill and loaded it into our house, and this was not an easy move, yet they remained cheerful and upbeat, even taking a bunch of heavy things up to the attic. They promised me that someone would call the day before the move to let me know what time they plan to arrive. That never happened. Dave the snake oil salesman promised me that they would disassemble my furniture no problem because they hire expert furniture people to disassemble & reassemble furniture. However, after all my furniture was removed from my home, they told me I would need to pay an additional $420 to have my armoire reassembled in my new home. My contract states that the move would take between 3 - 7 days. On day 8, not only did I not receive my furniture & belongings, but it was Saturday and the offices are closed and I have no one to talk to or get answers from. I called & texted Dave but he never returned any of my calls or messages. I spoke with someone at First Class movers who were hired to unload the truck at my new home, and they said they would look into it, but they too never called back. If this is the way North American & Arnoff treats their customers, I would think twice about hiring them to do a move. I wish I knew sooner, but I thought with 100 years in the moving business they would be a reputable company to do business with, boy was I wrong.

The quote was reasonable so we decided to set a date. On Saturday morning Marc, Jose and Qwuan showed up within the stated arrival time and started working immediately. Marc demonstrated extreme care with our furniture and everything was wrapped to protect our sofa, tv's and bureaus. Jose did a fantastic job playing Tetris loading the truck. Some items needed to be disassembled and reassembled when we got to our new location. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about and a lot to compliment on. No one lived at the house where the pickup would be happening so we had to arrange for people to fly in to meet at the pick-up location. I called McCollisters to ask how the process worked, they told me I could pay extra to have it picked up on a specific day vs a window time. I booked the 1-day pickup about 2 weeks out on a date they said was available in the calendar. 2 days before pick-up we hadn't heard anything from them so I reached out and asked if we will receive an approximate time for pick-up. They told me that I would get a time range once a driver was booked. The day before the pick-up they informed me that they were still looking for a driver and would be unlikely able to find one for the next day. We were left scrambling to try to find a way to get our car transported by someone else because they couldn't tell us when they would find a driver. The customer service rep was hard to get a hold of since her voicemail was full and was not responsive to email, including trying to get our money back when they didn't transport our car. After waiting for more than 10 days I had to finally call to get someone in Billing to issue a refund. I wanted to trust a big national brand to be more on top of it than a local with a trailer but in the end we found someone who was able to help us the next day and so communicative.

I think these guys are all friends and work well together. Experts to select to move on or off West Point. My friend recommended them and I'm recommending them. These guys are great my only reservation is the price, but it is what it is. The price might be worth it for piece of mind. Good business. I think it's small and family owned, support this business!

Like I said in the previous review; it's like they were moving their own furniture. One of their truck's is across the street, moving someone out of the complex. It's not unusual to see someone moving; most of the time it's with U-Haul. I'm watching the movers bringing the people's furniture out of the building. Everything seems to be wrapped in plastic to keep it from getting wet and damaged. The guys are working fast. I don't know the family. I do know they'll be happy with the service they get from Triangle Movers. I hope they do a Yelp review.

This was my first time moving and using a moving company, and overall I had a very good experience…read more From the operator I spoke with on day one, to the origin service center in New York, to the customer service center in California, everyone I dealt with was professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. The truck drivers who loaded and unloaded my container were excellent--they answered all of my questions, provided clear timelines, and kept me updated with calls when they left the unit and when they arrived at my home. Their communication was always on point. The only downside was that my container was extremely dirty, almost as if it had been used to transport charcoal. Because of this, I strongly recommend wrapping items in blankets and stretch wrap to prevent them from getting stained. Unfortunately, my mattress cover was ripped during the move and ended up with black marks. Overall, the professionalism and communication stood out, but I do wish the container had been in better condition.
