During in the process of the move my wardrobe boxes that contained all of my clothes were somehow lost. I contacted Arnoff and was was told to file a claim. The claim then went through a claim agency and a lowball settlement amount was offered. In researching the next steps to appeal the settlement I discovered it would have only prolonged the time and cost me more money. I would have my claim sent to an arbitrator and that would have wanted receipts for my clothing items. Who has receipts for all the items in their closet? It's a racket designed to protect the moving companies. I sent numerous emails and did receive one from one of the Arnoff family members however it was just lip service in the end. I reluctantly accepted the settlement offer which was substantially below any numerical value to replace my entire closet. I sent a final email asking them to give the service one would expect from a local company and the human touch but never heard back. They came highly recommended and I have shared my story with other friends and voiced me frustrations. I can say that I will advise anyone moving to the area to use another company.

Everything is "can do" including very last minute packing help. Two huge trucks and 6 guys over 3 days. Michelle who runs the office is so pleasant to deal with and John the owner and both Scotts so engaging, fun, and respectful of women. The superstar (well, they all are) is James who ran the move seamlessly, as usual. At the end, I would gladly have all of them over for dinner. The crew was just superb. The quote was reasonable so we decided to set a date. On Saturday morning Marc, Jose and Qwuan showed up within the stated arrival time and started working immediately. Marc demonstrated extreme care with our furniture and everything was wrapped to protect our sofa, tv's and bureaus. Jose did a fantastic job playing Tetris loading the truck. Some items needed to be disassembled and reassembled when we got to our new location. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about and a lot to compliment on. No one lived at the house where the pickup would be happening so we had to arrange for people to fly in to meet at the pick-up location. I called McCollisters to ask how the process worked, they told me I could pay extra to have it picked up on a specific day vs a window time. I booked the 1-day pickup about 2 weeks out on a date they said was available in the calendar. 2 days before pick-up we hadn't heard anything from them so I reached out and asked if we will receive an approximate time for pick-up. They told me that I would get a time range once a driver was booked. The day before the pick-up they informed me that they were still looking for a driver and would be unlikely able to find one for the next day. We were left scrambling to try to find a way to get our car transported by someone else because they couldn't tell us when they would find a driver. The customer service rep was hard to get a hold of since her voicemail was full and was not responsive to email, including trying to get our money back when they didn't transport our car. After waiting for more than 10 days I had to finally call to get someone in Billing to issue a refund. I wanted to trust a big national brand to be more on top of it than a local with a trailer but in the end we found someone who was able to help us the next day and so communicative.

Like I said in the previous review; it's like they were moving their own furniture. One of their truck's is across the street, moving someone out of the complex. It's not unusual to see someone moving; most of the time it's with U-Haul. I'm watching the movers bringing the people's furniture out of the building. Everything seems to be wrapped in plastic to keep it from getting wet and damaged. The guys are working fast. I don't know the family. I do know they'll be happy with the service they get from Triangle Movers. I hope they do a Yelp review.
