I would had given A W Express 4 or 5 stars. Because of this reason. I' am only given 1 star and a negative Google Review. I will explain why. I had to move out of my apartment by December 11th, 2025. On Thursday November 14th, 2024 a Military Veteran Organization called WESTCOP SSVF contracted A W Express, to move my personal possessions to a Storage Room I rented from a Storage Facility. I only needed approximately 90 percent moved, because I need some personal possessions that I need until I need to vacate on Wednesday December 11th, 2024. They conducted the move on ThursdayNovember16th, 2024. There were three employees, and a foreman his name is Joseph. One of the items that was going to stay in the Apartment was a Bulletin Board. The Bulletin Board contain some flyers, and two memorabilia items. They were two Miniature soccer Jersey Car Decorations with suction cups. One Representating the Uruguayan National Soccer Team, the other was a professional soccer club from Uruguay from South America called C.A. Penarol. They were pinned to the Bulletin Board. When they finished the move, It appeared they did an adequate job. On Tuesday December 10th, 2024 I was doing the final move. Then I took the Bulletin Board, and noticed the Miniature soccer Jersey Car Decorations representating C.A. Penarol was missing. I went to the Storage Room and looked for it, but I could not find it. I called Joseph and asked him about the missing memorabilia item. He claimed he did not know about the memorabilia item. I asked him to ask the employees. He told me he would ask them. I called again to find out what they said. He said they did not know. I speculate that he did not ask them. He informed me the company policy was if any item was found. He or the employees would give it to me or leave it on the floor. He said may it flew away. I said the apartment does not have one path, and the item is too heavy for it to fly away. When I called again to inquire about the issue. He told me he was annoyed, that I was calling excessively about the issue. I have looked in my Storage Room at approximately 90 percent of my personal possessions boxes etc and I cannot find it. Finally in conclusion I was very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail, unprofessionalism, and apathetic attitude about my concerns about my missing memorabilia item. My concerns as a customer. I lost a memorabilia item because of the incompetence of this company and its employees. There is a possibility I can find the item. I will know if I still have the memorabilia item, when I move to a house or apartment, look again at the Storage Room and happen to find. Until then I will consider lost. If I happen to find it. Then I will edit my Google Review, text a retraction, and change the Star Rating System from a 1 Star to 4 or 5 Stars. Until then my review and Star Rating stays the same. I' am very disappointed. Recently used there services to move our 2 bedroom apartment from Middletown NY to Buffalo NY .... The owner came over and spent a few minutes to introduce himself and gave me an instant quote and within 1 min..... 1 month later on moving date they arrived on time with a full staff of team members and wrapped my furniture and handled our items with extreme care as if they owned the items themselves.... The next day they met me on time after a 5 hour drive with a smile and zero drama ..... before they left they asked to to inspect everything and everything arrived unblemished and I couldn't have been any happier with my service . So I didn't actually get to use these guys (my own fault) but their professionalism on the phone, response time and genuine concern for us finding a solution were enough for me to write a review. They didn't just say "no". They offered suggestions and alternatives to help us resolve our issue even though they couldn't personally do do our last minute job. They responded quickly, arrived promptly and packed efficiently. They worked through lunch to avoid the wet weather from damaging my furniture and saved me money by carefully packing the items into the storage units where I only needed 2 large units instead of having to get those two and an additional small unit. This by far was the best investment we made in buying our home. We called them on short notice for moving on a Saturday. They were there promptly at 8am. They moved an entire 2 bedroom apartment (taking apart furniture AND helping take out trash) while going up and down 13 stairs within 2 hours!!! They treated our items like their own. They had everything needed to make a move organized: blankets, straps, boxes for lamps, ramps, etc. My husband and I were in awe of how quickly they took to steps and their strength to move heavy items. We put new flooring in our new house. They walked along the blankets we placed down-- and kept adjusting them so they wouldn't mess our floors. They also did not place items on the floor and move them, but rather carried EVERY item to the place we asked for it to go. It was muddy and I began to put hay down for them to ensure they wouldn't slip. They were more concerned with tracking the hay into my house than anything else! I couldn't believe it! This was SO beyond organized and took a huge amount of stress off of us. They moved our whole family within 4.5 hours. Everything was in place, They even helped my husband put our new bed frame together that we bought. This family owned business is worth any amount that they charge to move you (which was SOOOO reasonable). We will NEVER move again without their assistance. These guys were unbelievable! They did an outstanding job moving our furniture which was large and we didn't think would fit out our front door. They not only managed to get it all out, nothing was banged up or damaged in any way! They were friendly, funny and did the job unbelievably fast; we thought it would take a lot longer to move! They not only worked up a sweat but laughed and told jokes as they were working. I really liked these guys, Joe and his two helpers... Also, I might add we moved during a light miserable raw, rainy day and they made sure everything was well-taken care of.
