One big reason was due to the fact that we are insane pet parents of 7 dogs and oh yeah one teenager. So, in my research to find my landscaper I was drawn to Greening Landscaping and Design. I have made many stupid mistakes in my life just ask my wife but having Kody and Kevin come in and work on this project was one of the best decisions I have ever made. They came in ..got the lay of the land, asked what we were looking for, suggested ideas as well. They are 2 very easy going guys with a no pressure sales approach which is what we loved about them and they were super friendly and accommodating to us and the dogs, clean, and totally involved us the whole process. We settled on a price and off to work these gentlemen went. What truly amazed me was that it's just them two doing all the work but they work like a team of 10!! I mean they dropped over 10 tons of rock in my yard and carved out an outstanding retaining wall, stairs, and sitting area. They removed decades of brush, cut down trees, laid down soil, and seeded it. The only issue they had was mother nature due to the fact that this whole project was right in the middle of the MONSOON season we had in Milford with all the weekly rain but even then they still managed to work on something to move the project along. Do yourself a favor and call them if you have a project in mind or even just playing around with the idea, its worth it. I stated this to Cody and Kevin. The only landscapers that touch my house going forward are them. This project was phase 1 and in a few years, I will be calling them back with whatever my wife wants to do ..of course. Only polite request I ever reecived was not to show up 5 minutes before they close with a full truck If I have anything that I am not sure about, I go with a sample and ask if they take items like that. As to the review from a few years ago about being yelled at by "rednecks", I can only say that I would have just ignored somebody like that and gone and talked to the boss in the office to tell the guy off. I think these characters are no longer there. Also, complaining about what they pay is useless. They state clearly that everything you bring to them it is just metals, so what an item cost originally or is worth is of no concern. Just ask your self why you are "recycling" ? For me it is not to make money. I don't follow the going rates for metals. I like to do good for the environment and the few bucks you get can be spent at the hot dog place next door:-) It's close to where I work and I am happy to have this place for drop off, instead of putting stuff into regular garbage. May times I am just happy to leave stuff without being paid.
