While looking for movers last minute due to a "last minute" closing date on our new home we called four moving companies. We found TNT on YELP and they had four great reviews so I called and spoke to Tom whom is the owner. He seems like an honest, no nonsense guy and he said he could accommodate the move on short notice. His quote also happened to be the best we got from the companies that actually called us back so I booked TNT for our move. The movers went to the wrong location initially and as a result they showed up a little later than expected but that wasn't a big deal to us. Once they arrived they moved our stuff quickly and efficiently and they were all very nice, professional and they all had a good sense of humor. They made it look easy and all of our things arrived at our new home safely and without any damage. After delivering our things to our new house they even accommodated us further by picking up a few things that were at our parent's house which is about seven minutes away and that was a huge help. After all the work was done there was a minor misunderstanding about the rate/charge however after speaking to Tom on the phone the misunderstanding was resolved fairly and we were happy with the work and the rate. Great job! We would definitely recommend using TNT and we would book them again although, we don't plan on moving for many, many years. Cheers! read more

We had a great experience with TNT Movers. They called the night before to tell me when they would arrive in the morning, and they were promptly on time. The guys were awesome with moving our stuff. Super efficient, got everything loaded up in no time, and we even had them stop at a second location to get things from our storage unit as well. Because of all the stuff we had, they even brought 2 trucks to make sure there was enough room to get it done in one trip... all the other companies I talked to were going to do it over a two-day span, which I was not thrilled with. The guys were all very friendly and polite, all had a good sense of humor, and handled our stuff carefully. You could tell they took pride in making sure everything was wrapped correctly with blankets so it wouldn't get scratched - they handled our possessions as if they were their own. Can't say enough good things. Moving is stressful and you assume it will be a headache and things will go wrong, especially when hiring movers. Well, nothing went wrong for us. We called to set up a quote, was called back immediately. Scheduled a time and they touched base to confirm that day. Showed up exactly when they said for quote(which was extremely fair and there were no changes to it after the move was completed which is always a concern). We set up a move date and time, again they called and confirmed the day before which was one less thing for me to do. Called the morning of to let me know exactly what time to expect them. Their whole crew was super-polite, careful and quick. Asked questions when they weren't sure of something. Everything was carefully handled and wrapped and arrived safely and was unloaded the same way. Again, it's hard to know who to trust when moving but I can highly recommend these guys! read more

Stay away from them if you don't want to be scammed and have your bank card emptied without permission while Bobbie and Tommy scream at you their entitlements. They even steal your new locks. They charge $370/hr and apparently estimate just to load and unload a truck is 740$ (That's not counting moving it). They changed their rates without notification, and charged $500 non-refundable deposit, before telling me that their rates went up. They insisted on the $500 deposit before sharing their rates and they only gave estimates until AFTER the job was done. So, for TNT, 1700sq = $4k. Don't give them your card - they will run unauthorized payments to themselves on it, and not even tell you. Again, they'll scream at you, Tommy slam the phone down in your ear, and then run your card for $3k. Their idea of business is screaming at you for four thousand dollars and inventing reality. read more

I have to say this was a great moving company!!!! The guys were all very nice, respectful, and hard working. We moved 3 days before Christmas, selling one house and closing on the other on the same day was stressful to say the least and this company really helped to alleviate much of that stress. We moved 4 kids, a cat and a dog and with out them we could never have gotten it done. Their price came in lower than I expected being that they started at 8 am, went to a storage space after our house and unloaded that and then held along our things until we could get into the new house at 5 pm. They were extremely fair and to be honest lower than many of the other quotes I got. We couldn't be happier. Thanks again TNT!!! read more

This company is excellent to work with. Tom Sr., his son Jr. and their crews are wonderful. They really busted their butts moving the contents of a 3600 square foot house in Rockland to a similarly sized house in Warwick. It took 10 men with 3 trucks, clearly a large job. A long hot day and they were working incredibly well together as a team and after 11 hours had everything moved in, reassembled and ready for us to start unpacking the 160 or so boxes. They were very friendly, courteous, efficient and it was an incredibly positive experience that we had been stressing over. Can't say enough positive about these men. Highly recommend them. TNT Movers is the best! Bobbie really worked with me to get my two items (Myxx bike and tempurpedic base) from my parents' garage in Callicoon to my apartment in Monticello. My building has a lot of restrictions as well- only M-F, only 2 time slots, need to make appointment, insurance. Josh and his partner were fast, efficient, and communicated with me the entire time. Side note: I did try to contact movers in Sullivan County, but did not get a call back from most, and the one that came highly recommended did not seem like they wanted this job. TNT Movers in Middletown moved furniture from our house to my daughters and other items we were donating they put in my garage. The first thing they did was introduce themselves and made sure they were following all the safety protocols. They were absolutely wonderful and professional. They were very careful with the furniture and made sure there was no damage to our walls. All items placed in the truck were covered an secured. They asked us to check to make sure they took everything before proceeding to my daughter's house. I just recently moved for downsizing and contacted TNT for the move. I needed 2 trucks and cannot say enough positive comments about this company and the movers. They were prompt, friendly, hard working, quick and organized. They work well together making sure the largest of items are carried and protected not causing damage. I was very impressed. I can't say enough wonderful things about these guys. The owner was so nice when I spoke to him and really helped me out. He passed his wonderful way with people on to his children because both of his sons were also wonderful to work with. They showed up at my house promptly at 8am and went straight to work. TNT movers did a beautiful job with my move! They were very careful, knowledgeable, and polite. They showed up on time, and worked quickly and very well. I had a long sofa which was especially difficult to move. The only way to get this sofa out of my apartment was to drop it over the balcony as the stairwell was too tight. This they did very well without any damage to the sofa. This takes a certain degree of professionalism and experience to be able to do something like this. Absolutely cannot recommend them enough. Booking with the office was excellent due to the time sensitive nature of my moving a 3br/lr/kit/dr and extras into storage with only 2 weeks' notice. The crew was timely, motivated, well equipped. The office staff even recommended me to a storage facility that was well within my budget.
