Moving locally from a 1BR apartment, they showed up with 4 very capable men and had me out of my old place and into my new place all in 2 hours. Umm, doesn't he know for the few hours I have him, I'm his boss? Not only that, he scared us by having a many psychotic moments and scared both his workers. His helpers even stated that they are never working with him again and that "he flips his lid so easily"... They were treated poorly and so were we. We were promised that our charge would be much lower than $600.00, to which we explained the last movers charged us which we didn't want to pay. We told him the most we could afford was $400 and said, if he couldn't swing it, that we would call friends to help us move. He promised us he could and didn't live up to his word. We live in a 1 bedroom small apartment with 2 couches & 1 bed. After seeing our stuff, and seeing where we were moving to, he even drew up a contract saying it would be less than $600.00. He lied and charged us exactly $600.00. The guy is a snake and took advantage of us. I would NOT recommend this moving company only because Steve is dangerous to be around. I felt very unsafe as a woman having him enter my home.

Only polite request I ever reecived was not to show up 5 minutes before they close with a full truck If I have anything that I am not sure about, I go with a sample and ask if they take items like that. As to the review from a few years ago about being yelled at by "rednecks", I can only say that I would have just ignored somebody like that and gone and talked to the boss in the office to tell the guy off. I think these characters are no longer there. Also, complaining about what they pay is useless. They state clearly that everything you bring to them it is just metals, so what an item cost originally or is worth is of no concern. Just ask your self why you are "recycling" ? For me it is not to make money. I don't follow the going rates for metals. I like to do good for the environment and the few bucks you get can be spent at the hot dog place next door:-) It's close to where I work and I am happy to have this place for drop off, instead of putting stuff into regular garbage. May times I am just happy to leave stuff without being paid.
