I wish I would have seen these reviews before I hired this company. I'm not sure if this is Andy, but this is the guy that moved me however, this company is the worse company ever. If I can give minus 1 star I would. I called in the last moment to have them move 1 bedroom set and a bunch of boxes and bins. He tried to charge me 500, in his text he said he was coming with 2 guys. He showed up by himself and with a guy that hangs out in front of the store begging, I asked him if he works with him he said yes. He said he need more guys but never called any. I asked him if he wanted my grandson to help he said yes. I asked him if he was going to wrap my bedroom set, he said on the truck. My bedroom set consisted of a platform bed which I informed him was already damaged from the last movers, however, the bed needed to be taken apart, a 6 drawer dresser, a tall dresser, and a night stand. They couldn't get the box spring out, I had to direct them on how to get it out. He didn't want to take a few of the boxes I had, I had to tell him to take them. He was rushing me, he started putting boxes on the truck in any way. After we got everything on the truck, I told him I was taking a uber to the storage unit where I was putting my things. I got to the storage unit in 5 minutes, I called him to ask whr he was he said right behind me, it took him 15 minutes after I got there, to get there. Taking my things off the truck, he only wrapped one of the dressers, unfortunately, the one dresser they didnt wrap they dropped and cracked the drawers. It has to be thrown out, which is the big 6 drawer dresser. And he still expected me to pay him the full price in which he was over charging me from the beginning. He didn't want to pay my grandson, I paid him with the money I took off from them cracking my dresser. I am just now realizing that they stole my Samsung watch. I have been missing it since the move I did a find my device and see that it is at another location. Now I know why they took so long to get to the storage unit they were going through my things. I'm so grateful that I didn't put my designer bags on the truck I will be filing a police report and suing for my watch and dresser. When I go back to the storage unit I will take pics of the dresser. The worst movers ever! If you need to move, move onto another company. A terrible company. I was set up with Andy to move my 2 bedroom apartment this past Friday. The appointment was set up for 3 PM. He said he had 1 earlier job in the am of that same day. He called at 3pm and said the movers were to be a bit late, there was a hiccup. I didnt hear from them again, from his end. I called and text numerous times. At 845 PM I text him that, that was enough, no one showed. My return text was to send more men and to reduce my price. We contacted Andy's Movers after being stood up by another moving company the morning of the move. Needless to say, we were completely and totally scrambling at the 11th hour. We came across Andy's Movers on Google and decided to give them a buzz. We don't know if they could sense the desperation in our voice but we asked if they were available for a move that same day and much to our surprise they were! ! We called at 10 am and they were at our home by noon. In a matter of 3 hours Andy's Movers had managed to load and move a 2300 sf. home last minute. They were honest, thorough, hardworking and overall just lovely people. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you, Andy's Movers- you guys were great! read more

We heard good things about Andy and asked him to help us pack up our lake house and move. We met him at the beginning of the summer and planned to move after Labor Day. He offered to list some of our personal property on Facebook Marketplace and offered to come and help us pack up. We had him over for some meals and gave him a $500 deposit. Then, he took a $50 deposit from a purchaser on one of our items and never returned it to us, and never came back to help us pack. He called us desperately asking for help because his truck had been towed in New York City with his wallet aboard and he had no money to get back and we immediately lent him another $50 via Venmo. That was the last we heard from him. He never returned our calls or texts and never refunded the $600 we gave him. A grifter, in our book. read more

Absolutely HORRIFIC Experience!!! I have actually used Andy and his guys to move before and they were great but not anymore!! I booked, and PAID, way in advance and called the day before just to confirm they would be there in the am. Well morning came and no one showed up, in fact they didn't show until many hours later and only after about a dozen calls! Andy acted like it was no big deal and it just happens smh! Because they were so late they rushed through everything and ended up breaking a mirror and my mothers antique table, for which they just shrugged their shoulders!! Then Andy tried to leave with only half of my home moved and when that wasn't an option stomped around and just kind of threw the rest of my belongings in the truck! I was so upset at how I was treated and how Andy and his team threw my stuff around the second half of the day!! To make matters wires, after they finally finished moving my home I learned that my good China set from my grandmother and a very valuable painting were missing after the last truck was unloaded!! I have tried to reach Andy many times and I'm either hung up on or leave countless voicemails with no return call!! Andy overcharged my credit card by $300.00 and refuses to return the money. His guys showed up late, didn't wrap any of the furniture before taking it out of the house, and the truck looks like they dragged it out of a dump. Mostly, I'm most disappointed that Andy, asked for a $150 deposit, then asked to give give his guys $50 for gas, and then overcharged my card. What a scam! DO NOT USE! read more

From a very recent personal experience... I can say with complete confidence that this is THE WORST COMPANY!!! Andy the owner is irresponsible and unprofessional. He is unreliable as his crew was 5 hours late after repeatedly hounding us to be completely ready for the move. He dodged all phone calls as his people arrived without dollies and the proper equipment essential for a move. It took 10 hours to move us out and they kept our belongings in their truck to unload the next day because the crew (who were great and worked really hard) were too tired. I had to lift and move things with them and it still took that long. We had a storage unit near the house that needed to be emptied and moved as well as discussed. They did not get to it as they ran out of time and weren't even told the storage unit stop was part of the job. Andy the owner never informed the crew about the storage unit when he knew about it from the start. They were supposed to unload the truck the next day at 6am and didn't show up till 7:30. No one was wearing masks and Andy didn't even bring one to the site. Andy made a million excuses how awful some of his crew is but it was all his fault as to why everything happened the way it did. He kept promising me that he would get my storage unit stuff and 2 weeks had gone by. He promised it would get done and the days kept passing. Finally it seemed like he was going to get it done and I told him he had until 6pm. I text him at 5:30pm to check and see what time he was coming since I waited around all day and his text back to me was "I have to take care of my paying customers first". Funny statement because I was a paying customer. After calling and calling him and no answer after another week, he finally answered and told me he would have it to me first thing in the morning. It has been another week and have not heard from him. He did not preform on even 1% of what he said. He is unreliable, broke many of my possessions and furniture which he said he would replace. He made promises which he did not keep and was rude, evasive, and incompetent. To this day, months later.. he never emptied our storage unit or replaced damaged goods. He is the epitome of a liar, thief and hideous businessman. Spare yourself the aggravation and inconvenience and do not give this man any undeserved business. read more

Contacted Andy's moving since we did not get our scheduled delivery of a treadmill. Purchased it and couldn't get it upstairs. Gave Andy's a call and we scheduled for the next day at 10:00AM. They were professional, courteous and moved the treadmill with ease in very tight quarters upstairs. EVEN OFFERED TO ASSEMBLE IT!!! We will keep his number handy for any future moves. I posted a review on Google that contains more details about my experience with Andy's moving services.Andy responded, first with infantile texts to me and his posted response that was not factual.My agreement with Andy was for a 20 foot truck and 2 movers.There were never 5 movers at one time, read my google review.Andy arrived 2 and a half hours late to start the move, by himself,with a 10 foot U-Haul rental.We starting help him load the truck.2 other movers arrived about anBefore he hour later,1115am to 1130am,with another 10 foot rental from Budget.Both trucks were loaded by noon.I spoke with Andy 4 times before the move date of 6/29,8am to start.We discussed details of the move, items to be moved, travel time and quickest route from New Windsor to Syracuse,his rate, and I asked if he was insured etc,.As Andy was finishing loading the second truck,I noticed he was setting the two TV's on the floor at the back of the truck.I asked if he thought the TV's were safe on the floor, behind the load.He covered them it pads and said they wee safe, he guaranteed it.when the trucks were ready to pull outlet noon, for what should have been a 3 and a half trip,I asked Andy if they were taking the thruway, the best route to Syracuse.He said yes, and he was meeting a driver for his truck at the entrance to the Newburgh thruway exit.Before his other truck left,Andy and his foreman had an argument and I hardier say that she did not want to go to his house[in Wurtsboro]and she wanted to get the move finished.After I went thru Albany I called Andy and said I had not seen either of his trucks.He assured me they were on the thruway.I arrived at the Syracuse address at 330.Andy's first truck arrived at 430.We helped his 2 movers unload.The second truck arrived about 530,with 2 movers.We again assisted unloading that truck.I told the foreman that it did not take 4 and a half hours to drive to Syracuse.She replied that they had stopped for lunch and had taken rote 17 t0 rote 81 to Syracuse.Andy had lied.When it was time to settle the bill, the foreman called Andy and asked him how much it was. Andy and I had agreed to $125 an hour for 2 movers.He tried to charge me $150 an hour, after being 2 and a half hours late and taking an extra hour to drive to Syracuse.I showed my receipt for the $125 deposit to the foreman, we then settled at $125 an hour.I had told Andy I had an appointment at 4 to 430 when I was finished with the move, he said"you will make it, no problem, we are going to rock."Actually his services were more like a slow dance.Andy stated in his rebuttal,"who makes an appointment on moving day?"A person that expects the mover to be on time, take the quickest route and be finished by three pm and not after 6pm.The next day,6/30,Spectrum came to install the cable tv etc.Late in the afternoon, my daughter called to tell me that one of the TV's was not operating.The Spectrum technician said that it appeared that rough handling was the cause.The TV had worked the previous morning before we disconnected it to be moved.On 7/1,I called Andy and informed him of this issue.I explained that there was no overt damage,but something internal He said he would submit a claim with his insurance, and if they would not settle, he would pay for the damage.On 7/8,I still had heard from him, so I sent him a text, informing him that I expected a status report by 7/10.I did not receive a call.When we were settling the bill, and Andy was on speaker,I told him expect a bad review.I posted a review on Google reviews on 7/11.Andy resonded with a series of jejune texts and an insipid response to my review.I had meant to ask Andy to produce his insurance verification when he arrived to begin the move, but after the big delay,I forgot to inquire.Anyone that may decide to hire this outfit, make sure you see insurance documents.New York State,not CA. read more

I hired these guys last summer to move my daughter based on the glowing reviews and the statement that Andy was always on site. Well, he wasn't for my job. But the girlfriend of one of the movers he sent was! My daughters ANTIQUE and LEATHER furniture was treated like JUNK. Bumps and dings all over the place, leather chairs slid across the truck floor so that the leather is WORN DOWN in places normal wear would never be found. Called to speak to Andy (who had assured me he was insured)when we scheduled. Well, he was going to have the man he put in charge call me - which never happened. He was going to have insurance info sent to me - which never happened. I would wait a couple of weeks and call again and my calls were never answered. Finally I texted him and my text was returned that I had been blocked. I would not hire this man if he was the last person on earth! He is not to be trusted, no matter how glowing the other reviews.
