Thanks Jim! We've found our guy. Found a bunch of good reviews for A1 Dryer Vent Cleaning and they delivered as advertised. Our dryer was definitely in need of an overhaul and Jim explained everything and worked hard to get our dryer working safely in perfect order. The prices are reasonable and service was great. Will definitely be calling A1 for any needs in the future. read more

Jim was on time, friendly and unclogged a mess of a dryer vent that I could not get cleaned out myself. Our dryer just wasn't working. Now it works perfectly. It was well worth it. I will have them clean this vent every 24 months to keep our dryer working properly. Don't waste your own time, just call A1 Dryer Vent Cleaning. read more

I HIGHLY recommend this company. Jim was very professional, good communicator and very reasonably priced. When I called for a quote Jim returned my call quickly and gave me a detailed description of the tasks he would preform along with the exact price, no hidden fees. Jim arrived exactly on time, completed the job in a timely manner and took extra time to explain and describe exactly what he did to my dryer. He even showed me pictures. I especially appreciated that despite the fact that my laundry room is extremely cramped, Jim took the time to move the dryer and do a through job. If you need your dryer vent cleared, give Jim a call. You won't be disappointed. read more

Good thorough service. Friendly, on time and professional. Give them a call and you won't be disappointed.

I don't usually write reviews but the service was so excellent that I made an exception. We recently moved into the house and I could smell something burning when we first ran the dryer. The clothes were not drying at all. Jim discovered that there was no air flow and the lint was burning in the back of the unit. It could have been a tragedy! Jim was dependable, honest, helpful and effective. The dryer runs perfectly now. I would highly recommend calling Jim! read more

I am forever indebted to Jim and his wonderful service. For years (since we moved to this new house), my dryer hasn't worked right - I've been waiting to replace the unit and running two or three dry cycles every time. I finally decided to give a vent cleaning a try, and for $99, I have a "like new" dryer, cheaper energy bills, less frustration, and no fire hazard. I was shocked to learn how clogged my vent was, and what a simple fix I've neglected all along. Jim came exactly at the time promised, was friendly, informative, and professional. Call him. ****STRONGLY RECOMMEND***** Jim is AWESOME and probably saved our lives. We've been having problems with our clothes taking forever to dry and the lint trap not catching any lint. Our home was built by Pulte ONLY 18 months ago and we've had a horrible experience with PULTE, which led to the mistrust and us calling Jim not PULTE. Jim came out and confirmed our suspicions. Pulte had painted the flapper shut on our vent that is on the Roof. For 18 months our dryer was not able to vent out. Jim scraped all the paint away from BOTH sides of the flapper allowing airflow. Jim explained to me that the air from your dryer travels at 20 mph, which in normal circumstances forces the flapper open until the dryer stops. During the 18 months we lived here (new build) ours never opened. He then cleaned all the moisture out of the vent and took pictures before and after. Jim than got all the lint that had collected inside the vent and on the bottom out, which was a disgusting wet mess. Jim then opened up our dryer and cleaned out the inside. The inside of the dryer was the most disturbing as Jim explained the lint trap was not catching any lint because there was no airflow, therefore it had no place to go and dropped down inside the dryer. I had a couple inches of lint throughout the bottom of our dryer, in addition to the Heating Element and all Wires being covered in lint. Jim said he doesn't understand why the dryer didn't catch fire inside. Jim will ask 3 questions when you call, like he did me: 1) Is the dryer heating up 2) Is the Lint Trap Catching Lint 3) How long is it taking to dry clothes? If your experiencing any of these problems, please call Jim Right Away! He offered same day service but I was out of state when I called him. My husband called me and told me it took 8 hours to dry two blankets - I was disgusted, so I searched on line and found A1 Dryer Vent Cleaning with awesome reviews. Jim came out the very next day and his price was incredibly reasonable. He's incredibly thorough and a very nice guy!! read more

Jim Warren, owner of A1 Dryer Vent Cleaning cleaned my dryer vent yesterday. I had no idea how a real, thorough vent cleaning was done. I don't have enough space here to tell you all the steps he went through to make sure a complete job was done. Now I feel a lot better knowing my dryer is running more efficiently and not likely to catch on fire or break down due to excessive lint AND I will save money on the utility bills because the clothes will dry faster. Jim gave me a price on the phone, he was on time and very knowledgable. If you want a thorough, professional Dryer vent cleaning, call A1 Dryer Vent Cleaning. You won't be unhappy. Jim was awesome. Returned my call promptly and was very polite. Scheduled an appointment within a couple of days, showed up few mins early knowing that I had to be out of the house at a certain time. Jim was great to work with! He responded quickly to my request for service and did an amazing job cleaning my ducts. He explained everything he did in detail, showed me pictures of the before and after and cleaned up thoroughly. I would not hesitate to recommend him! read more

I was contacted the same day. The entire procedure and price was explained to me. My technician arrived early, and got right to work. He explained what he was doing, and showed me photos of my (almost completely blocked) vent at the roof. He also showed me the basketball-sized ball of lint that he liberated from the vent! His price was fair, and the work was done quickly and without a mess. I highly recommend this contractor! read more

Our electric dryer was taking too long to dry clothes and when we removed the vent hose we discovered water and wet lint. Called Jim and he solved the problem. The outside vent had been smashed so very little air was circulating causing the issue. Called Jim who arrived on time, found the problem and resolved the problem. Would highly recommend Jim and A1 Dryer Vent Cleaning. read more

DOES NOT KEEP APPOINTMENTS! I made an appointment and no one showed up, no one called, no one did anything! I called an hour later to let them know I would be using someone else. Of course, the excuses started bubbling out - double booking (yeah right, when that happens one of the customers usually receives a phone call!). I think they just forgot. My time is valuable. I had to be home waiting for a company that never showed up or gave me the courtesy of a phone call to let me know anything different. read more
