Looking for a quick bite on the cheap? A Tendinha do Rossio has you covered, but don't expect it to be of the highest quality.
Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere?
Quaint, well-located, and clearly popular, because it was pretty packed when I strolled in on a Saturday afternoon. The servers are friendly enough, and the abundant seating outside is great for people watching. Star Granted.
Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost?
€2,20 for a schnitzel sandwich? Yes please!

Star Granted.
Stars 3 and 4: How was the food?
I mean, for less than the equivalent of $4 what do you really expect? However, that's beside the point. Let's start with the bread. Newsflash, I had some absolutely incredible bread while in Lisbon, and it was cheap, so I can't understand why ATdR would use what was some mediocre bread as opposed to the good stuff at damn near every bakery within a square kilometer. As for the schnitzel? Well, it was about 90% breading and questionable pork, so while I ate my whole sandwich, it honestly wasn't good. There's plenty of room for improvement here. No Stars Granted.
Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could?
There are better options nearby, but if you're looking for a spot to have a seat for the afternoon and get your fill without breaking the bank (or even a note), it's worth stopping by. No Star Granted. read more
