Please don't use them, don't put your family on their waitlist. It doesn't work. We had to move my sister to another state. They give false hope. The center refused to allow my mom additional days of therapy because the nurse director "did not like me and my sick mom".

Hospice is supposed to be comfort care - but instead I had to advocate even harder for basic care for my dad than I did before he was under hospice care, at a time when he was actively dying and I was most overwhelmed, sad and uncertain.

FANTASTIC thus far. Better surgeon, much better physical therapist and home nurses. Healing much faster this time, walking steady, managing pain so much better and getting GREAT PT support. Christy has been so much better with work out. She stays here for a good 30 to 45 minutes and always explains which muscle or soft tissue is doing what action. She actually stays and practices the routine with you. Got some short but soothing massage to the under part of my TKR and good tips for balance and to stay on walker, especially during the night. That tip save me falling at 2 am one night! I highly recommend this team that i worked with on my 2nd TKR. Thanks everybody.

We ended up at Sutter's ER then had one home health visit from a few departments. One person was abrasive, the other was rushed the only one who seemed to care was the guy in PT. Their social workers who are supposed to help you find benefits for your parents are unfriendly, the least empathetic of any I have ever experienced. She even lamented about her problems and complaining about her job as if I was wrong for wanting figure out how to navigate CA healthcare. In WA my mom had Medicaid that paid for her to be in an Adult Family Home, she also had in home health and they were all really nice. Everyone wanted to help the patient:elderly but here no one wants to tell you what is available. I have been finding bits and pieces from people I encounter. There should be a packet or a hospital, county support person who navigates Medicaid. Helps you find, Boarding homes, assisted living or in home care covered by Medicaid benefits because your parents are eligible for these benefits. What is wrong here? Even the skilled nursing facility hasn't even mentioned Medicaid they just say her insurance is up go pay out of pocket for in home or boarding but they take Medicaid and this is Woodside... they sent me to a dump of a boarding home where a dog was locked in a utility building while I toured the place. Can Sutter do better? My mom has Medicaid in place in Washington good until April next year.

I signed my…read more83 year old mom up for hospice care for bladder cancer and Bristol followed up with the nurses, social worker, and bather. They reminded me to call anytime I had a question. Their accessibility made me feel supported and cared for. They immediately made sure my mom had pain management taken care of. I didn't have to be burdened with waiting in line to get medications. This was significant since I'm the doing all of this alone. The RN case manager, Antoinette, has been a pivotal support agent in my life. She has a very present, nurturing quality to her. I felt safe breaking down into tears in her company. Her compassion, knowledge, and understanding reached my heart as she sat with me as I had a moment of immense grief. She said all the right things during a time I felt most vulnerable. I know this team must have pragmatic tasks of the job dealing with paperwork, but when they are with you they offer their complete presence while also juggling documentation and ordering supplies. The level of authentic care and sincerity means so much to me. I know my mom can feel it as well.

He also suggested a home-help product I didn't think I needed (but turns out I do), that will help me shower more safely. I have been so impressed w/ everyone from Blossom Ridge. In recent months, we've had a few…read moreof our residents under their care at Roseberry Care (roseberrycare.com) and were very impressed with the professionalism, creativity and attention provided, particularly when extended family challenges presented. Great to work with an organization that enables all of the involved care-givers and key family members to present a unified team during those tough moments that require calm and an integrated plan. And we greatly appreciate the extra touches like music therapy.
