Nick and his crew have a really good understanding of what people need whether it is early plowing to get to a job or special needs like a particular shaped driveway and they are efficient, really skilled and very reliable. On particularly heavy snow days, they come back and make it possible to get in/out and allow you to get on with your day, even if that is just hours more of shoveling. We also have a lot of cars in our driveway on most weekends. Tim and his crew always take care of our driveway and they often come back the same day or the day after the storm to re-plow the driveway. Our first year at our house, we used another "reputable" company in town because we heard they been around the longest. They have good staff too. Unfortunately, when we contacted them to re-plow our driveway because of the amount of snow and even willing to pay extra to have it re-plow because it would take all Friday evening to clear the driveway before my friends get in, the owner came to my house, spoke down to me, and told me he will not send anyone to clear the driveway. I was in disbelief by how he spoke to me, and sadly, I spent 3 hours removing snow manually to ensure my friends can park when they arrived. Their advice turned out to be accurate. The Rock-N-Dirt team offered the full complement of grading, environmental and excavation services and ensured that our project was done on time, according to code, and on budget. Darren has a fantastic eye for both the possible AND the creative, helping us develop possibilities for driveway design and landscaping that we would never otherwise imagine ourselves. They were always there to answer our questions and always professional. There is no one better in town. Called and spoke to Jose, after the receptionist failed to provide any knowledgeable responses. Who…read morestated the Owner (Robert) was in my area that day and would try and stop and complete an inspection that afternoon. Robert called and stated he was ten minutes away. 45 minutes later I receive a text stating his vehicle would not make it up the road to my house. This is often an issue as there are two roads to take. One is impassible. Google Maps knows this and routes people the easier route (which semi trucks and large vehicles take daily with no issues). Prior to the conversation with Robert, Jose stated if Robert couldn't make it up that day he would schedule me for the following Wednesday for Inspection. No one called or showed up Wednesday either. When I called Robert THE OWNER to ask what happened to my Wednesday appointment he said I wasn't honest about how far up a dirt road I live on (like I didn't provide my service address originally.) When asked why I never received a call about the missed appointment I was told I should have called him. Why is the customer responsible for confirming an appointment the contractors office made? Absolutely horrendous customer service and an absolute joke of a contractor who takes zero accountability for his companies poor organization. If I could give zero stars I would. DONT BOTHER CALLING THIS COMPANY. They'll just waste your time.
