Well where do I begin.... Paul if that was the name of the technician that worked on my car...thank you for reproducing a key to open my mother in laws car... here is a little review for you. First of all the service that you word was supposed to be 180$ well I guess it turned out to be 285$ after you where done. Yes you accomplished your task yet you where RUDE. AND UN PROFFESIONAL. My moM In law has lost keys to her car while at a Gas station. Pauls service said they can reproduce the key. Serviceman has arrived and worked to reproduce the key after few hours of working on it, he made the key open doors yet was not able to program the key to start the car. My wife was informed that ignition will need to be repaired/replaced to be honest I'm not sure what was done. The process took about 2 hours. Technician was truly irritated with the time it took. He said "THIS IS AN OLD CAR AND ITS A PIECE OF SHIT " and mentioned he has been doing this for 15 years and never had that problem. I guess Ford focus 2002 makes super high tech locks and ignitions... either way after replacing or fixing ignition he still had issue programming the key after charging up the battery in my car he has finally got the key to work.. When my wife asked him if maybe that was the problem to begin with he rudly responded with attitude "YOU DONT ANYTHING ABOUT IT" Sure enough my wife is not a locksmith but I'm sure there are nicer ways to respond. Either way guy is an Ass hat and due to being frustrated in doing the job in hot weather he takes it out on clients. Either way if you are looking for expensive and rude service he is your guy. Paul is the real deal. I inherited a 1987 dodge van, and the keys went missing in the transfer process. The dealer said they did not have data that far back and could not create a key. Let me just say up front, Paul's Lock Service is the goods. My daughter's dream car - a 2000 VW Periwinkle Blue SlugBug had ONE key. And, since she got the car used, it was the ONLY key. The fob broke shortly after we got it, but she held it together with duct tape and band aids. Well, it broke. Thanksgiving weekend. The computer chip key fell into the parking lot. Apparently into a hidden worm hole. Maybe not SciFi. Maybe a real worm hole- like, earth worms. So, after a day or so of looking in vain, I started calling 24/7 locksmiths. I wasted an entire day trying to contact a highly recommended locksmith (24/7 apparently means different things to different people.) Finally got a hold of pretender #2 by 9 a.m. At 11 a.m., and after 2 more phone calls, and the technician never called, I scrambled. That's when I found Paul's Lock Service. Get this: HE ANSWERED HIS OWN CELL! What's more, he assessed the situation, assured me he could and would do the job, and told me he would call when he was on the way. I live in New Lenox. Paul is based in Willowbrook. Its...a drive. He was good to his word. The price was very reasonable (especially for a house call. VW wanted 2x to have me tow it there, and then wait many days). He arrived around noon, and was away before 2. I really wish his Google guy was able to move him up the search list. Make him your first. I don't know if he can help you, but he helped me with a laser cut computer chip key on a VW Beetle (Not. Common. Guessing he can help you with a Ford or Chevy. Just saying...). Fair. Responsive. Accommodating. Honest. Professional. He has already made me a quote on a duplicate fob.
