So I told them to put me on the list and that I was going to try to reach another locksmith as I was supposed to be at work! I did call the other locksmith in the area, no answer for one, and the other one answered and told me that his technician would be reaching out to me. Tom of Hoosier arrived within 40 minutes (after a 20 minute drive) and started by trying the key in the lock himself. It worked!
