I was there earlier and they assisted me with several specialty keys for my specialty locks. I have assisted many friends utilizing their skills. They can look at the key and explain to you the time period the key was made and why you couldn't find that key anywhere else. I don't believe a computer could give them competition read more

unlike the recent proliferation of scammy 1-800-locksmiths out there that purport to be "local businesses," this is the real deal. knowledgeable, professional, courteous. he replaced three locks in my home. will definitely recommend and use again. read more

Excellent work. Extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. I've been doing business with them for over 10 years.

Unexpected issue with a residential lock that literally fell apart. They were polite and professional over the phone, discussed security measures in place to ensure I was authorized to request the service. The technician arrived earlier than quoted. The technician was professional, polite and thoroughly explained the issues and promptly made the necessary corrections and repairs needed. It even works better than before it fell apart. The value paid to come out on a weekend, complete the service in a timely manner and added safety they confirmed who i was before performing any work is well worth the reasonable price. Thank you so much! read more

This place came highly recommended. They came out right away and the technician was great. I would have been a happy customer, had I not reviewed my invoice after I paid it. When I called and asked about appointments/pricing, I was told the service call was $150 or $180. Once reviewing the invoice, the service call was $225. I texted to inquire about the difference. No response from the business for 4 days. I finally had to call and after 3 follow-ups finally spoke with Sue (or Susy) and she listened to my original call and called me back. She stated that they do charge 150 for a service call but the 225 also includes labor, although all services are listed as separate line items. She also stated that the invoice should have been more for the length of time the tech was at my house. I had a lengthy conversation when I set up the appointment AND sent pictures of the locks prior to the appointment. I was very transparent on my end, they clearly were not. If there was a additional charge for labor that should have communicated at the time of the appt was set up. If there should have been an additional fee for a longer appointment, that should have communicated at the time the appointment was set. If labor is a separate charge, they may want to consider listing it as a separate line item on the invoice or at least tell the customer that during the price quoting process. If you like surprise charges, lack of transparency and poor customer service, this is your place! read more

Rekeying of a facility. Thomas and his team were prompt and gave me updates throughout the day. They finished the job in a timely manner.

Had them come out to fix a stuck flush bolt. Not only did they simply leave without fixing anything, they actually didn't even put the latch mechanism fully back together and walked off with several of the screws! I guess at least they didn't charge us for the privilege but still. Tried to follow up with them (repeatedly) to get a replacement tech and they never called back. Just as well; wouldn't use them again. read more

My elderly parents back door would not lock properly; Bobby (technician) came out and did a good job of explaining the issue and corrected it. The price was much lower than anticipated. They are GREAT! read more

They saved me a small fortune on a key fob replacement! The dealer was going to charge me upwards of $300 for a new fob. The issue I was having was after replacing a battery, the fob would start the car but none of the buttons worked. I had two fobs with this issue. Rob went through the troubleshooting process he uses, and full replacement is a last resort Turns out the BUTTON PAD on one of the fobs went bad (as they do from use). There was a small break in the circuitry in the other board Long story short, a $16 pad got me a fully functional pad. Rob said hang on to the other board since it would start the car in a pinch but it would need to be replaced if I wanted button functionality. Long story short, the store looks like a place that would be limited to repairing your 80-year-old lock on a home in Beverly, but they do work with computerized chips as well. read more

This place is super cool. Been here since the 60s and probably has not changed much since then. I'm glad places like this can survive today. Ace hardware and Menards can only make basic house keys for you. They never have the right stock for file cabinets, padlocks , gate locks etc. This place has never let me down, even with weird and old keys I need copies of. They deserve to beat out the big places because they know their stuff. Not a computer in sight either. Super cool. read more

Great experience with Morgan Locksmith! Stopped in because I was in the area and needed to replace a broken key. The key was in two pieces, but Morgan was able to make a copy of the key, which worked perfectly! I was in and out in five minutes. The new key was about $5.00. It is a proper locksmith shop, so they have all sorts of lock and door parts that a big hardware store likely wouldn't have. I also prefer to support small, local business when possible and Morgan Locksmith is definitely that! read more

Was in dire need of a key for an older brinks home safe. I wasted so much time and energy buying keys that didn't fit and nonreturnable..... then great Ace Hardware (95th Homan Evergreen Pk) suggested MORGAN LOCKSMITHS. Bingo! Calls returned quickly, use of texts to communicate and share pics, super straight up folks! Zipped over there, had the key made for much less than anticipated- so I give him a tip!! Learned that MORGAN LOCKSMITHS have been in the area for 60+ years and it's easy to see why: great knowledgable people, impressive key types in stock, patience, fairness, effort, and just plain kindness! Love these guys! Make them your go to and send others their way- support our local businesses so we won't be forced to always buy from Amazon! KEEP LOCAL BUSINESSES THRIVING! read more

Super dependable and friendly service. They always return phone messages. Shop local!

I definitely recommend this business. I called on a Monday and spoke with a very patient gentlemen. We talked through what I would need and he presented options without pressuring me to buy anything. The serviceman was at my house the following Wednesday. He was on time and very polite. I told him the issue, he explained what needed to be done and got to work. He was in and out in about an hour if not less. My husband and I were pleased with the cost of the service and so far everything is perfect! read more

Oh this was the guy who called me and told me he was on his way to another job but would come afterwards - and he was 45 minutes away. In the meantime I called someone else, who came an hour later. They ruined my door and charged me $300, which sucks, but at least they showed up. NO ONE from this place ever called again, nor did they show up. Not cool. read more

My 2012 Chevrolet Cruze key broke. I went EVERYWHERE I possibly could to get a new key. I even went to the dealership who told me that it would cost $800 to get a new key and chip (which would come in a week). I came to Morgan Locksmith as a last resort. Here, I got help right away. They explained everything to me throughly. They told me how to program the key and gave me tons of information I didn't know. I got two sets of keys the SAME DAY with chips included and went about my day. I only paid $200 for the whole service and it took less than 30 minutes. Hands down the best service I've EVER gotten. read more
