I had high hopes that this would be my new go to Salon. It is very clean and new. I had gotten a gel manicure a couple weeks ago and it was a decent experience. I called earlier in the day to see what the price would be to remove the gel polish. The person who answered the phone said it would be free. She said I could come in any time. I came about an hour later and asked for the same thing, just a gel removal. I was helped pretty quickly. Once I was in the chair, in the middle of the process, and my fingers were soaking, the receptionist came over to me and asked if I was the one who had called earlier. (I feel like she knew as soon as I came in and asked for the service that I was the one who had called earlier, they aren't a very busy place) She said that it wasn't free but $10 to have my polish removed and was that ok. I was already in the middle of the process and felt like I had no option but to pay at that point. I told her I would pay but I wished she had told me that when I got there. She said "my bad". The problem for me wasn't paying but that she didn't tell me until I was in the middle of it and didn't offer to fix it, since it was her mistake. On top of it, the man who did the removal didn't file my nails and left some residue on my nails. They look as bad/worse than if I had just peeled off the gel myself. I will not be returning for any services. A pretty building doesn't make up for poor service and poor treatment of customers. read more
