Great little classic burger spot. Not fancy, but it was so good and the staff was friendly and cheerful. We got the pastrami burger and it generously piled with pastrami that was juicy, lean, and delicious. The onion rings and fries were hot, crispy and delicious too! This was my go to place for great burgers and sandwiches. The last 2 times I've been there the food has been terrible. The chicken sandwich was mostly lettuce, tomatoes and the buns. Ok, no big deal I don't live that far, so I call and Janet answers and reads my order back correctly and the man in the background mouths off something because he made it. He takes over the call and begins arguing with me, finally after realizing he's WRONG, he says he can make a new one...TOMORROW! Horrible experience. I do not recommend. I ordered a "Big Richard" and I got this crap. It's supposed to be double patty with bacon and avocado. Was starving and had just got out of work which is why it is partially eaten. The girl wasn't even paying attention when I was ordering because she was chatting it up with the other girl and some guy that had walked in that they were talking to as I was trying to pay. A hidden gem on the menu are the munchers, one order only feeds one person. Best description of the munchers is shredded potatoes with cheese deep fried. Their are no combos here so everything is a la carte. The milkshakes and apple pies will satisfy your sweet tooth. If you're around in the morning, try their breakfast burritos. Be careful because they are (heat) hot. If you ask nicely you can get two salsas for your burrito. Their burritos come with veggies, potatoes, eggs and your choice of meat, anything more than one meat is extra. My favorite is sausage and pastrami. Don't knock it til you try it! read more

Yea I'm over this place. Never consistent . I paid almost$7.00 for a dry bbq chicken burger and it doesn't even come with bacon , cheese, or even a small soda . Yes I did ask for no tomatoes and Thank God I asked if it came w Mayo because the menu didn't mention that . Nowadays with peoples allergies etc , please list everything you put in the burger . It appears that one time they were named" Lot-A-Burger", but the name is now A-Burger. I would not say it is a "rip-off" just a copy of Whataburger. The look is pure 70's fast food orange and white. The burger is dressed with tomato,onion, lettuce, pickle, and mustard they will offer you ketchup at the check out. You can pick additional toppings for extra charge. Overall the burger is not great the buns were stale, but the fries were crisp and not too salty. It appears they have a hidden menu, after I picked my order I overheard someone asking for mayo on the burger During my lunch stop the staff did not clean the tables so most were dirty.
