Don't plan on getting a Rebate check anytime soon or even at all!! Others said they have got checks and they have bounced. NSF. Plan on waiting on hold for a long long time. A&E auto glass used to be good and send you a check of $120 in the mail. I heard them on the radio and they did a good job the first time, not they have changed policies. I think these guys are in over their heads on false advertising and claims. Now customer service is terrible. I have referred several friends here and I was told I would get 25 dollars for each referral. I have got nothing. Even worse none of my Friends have got their checks either. It's been 3 months now. Installers were decent and did a good job. I even see that they are in a law suit with Gieco now. I won't recommend them to any of my friends. Tari Skousen I had my windshield done over 4 weeks ago. The 1st technician glued my stereo antenna in with my windshield leaving me with no radio reception. It took them 2 days to come look at it when the 2nd technician determined he needed to remove the 1st windshield and replace it to get my antenna removed from the glue. The next day he came and replaced it only to try and reconnect my antenna and my radio still wouldnt work. A & E agreed to send my car to a car stereo shop. Its now been 5 days and I went to the stereo shop and had to wait 3 hours only for the stereo company tell me my antenna was broken and a new one had to be ordered. This process would take over 2 weeks A&E did pay for the new antenna and the installation that again took another 3 hours to install Throughout this entire process I had to continually call them and stay on top of them as no one would return my calls or emails. I am out over approx 12hrs of my own personal time on Sat mornin and after work to get my antenna fixed. They have now again not returned calls or emails to compensate me for my time. I will never use them again nor recommend them. Their technicians are not trained properly and they didnt care once my car was damaged. If I hadnt stayed on top of it I am sure they would have never fixed my issue. Their lack of communication and concern was very unprofessional. read more

Had my windshield replaced. Glass was good. Install was good. I had them install tint from my refund money. Tint job is horrible. Dust everywhere. I was told by the installer that if I'm unhappy with the tint i can contact them and they'll redo it. Now i keep trying to contact them and they don't respond. Next time I'm gonna try another glass company. Update 5/4/19: Spoke with Sherolyn. Working to correct tint issues. Update 5/29/19: Scheduled retinting guy did not show up. I am still waiting for a rebate and also trying to get a chip repair that was supposed to happen with a replacement on another vehicle. I had a hard time getting through on the phone, the phone would ring and ring then I'd try to leave a message and the voicemail was full. The appt was from 9:00am-1:00pm and they showed up at 3:15, I had to stay at work late waiting for them to finish. Not very reliable, the windshield did get replaced but alittle much of a hassle for me. Made an appointment for 9 a.m And for there right around then. They finally came to talk to me at 9:30 to tell me they didnt have my windshield. Got my windshield replaced through them after hearing all the rave reviews and money back. They came out for it done and tinted my windshield. However after 2 months now, the tint is already falling off the car. In this review, I am going to name drop some people from this place. First off, I read everyone's review before/after calling A&E... I still went ahead and went on with this.. I was either the first caller or 2nd in queue the 2 times I had called. Both times I had spoken with a gentlemen named Alex. On both calls, Alex was very professional and helpful. I had to get my windshield inspection so I took it to the location stated and got it inspected. Called Alex and he informed he that he was waiting on the inspection company to email him a WO#. Within 15 minutes of that phone called he had called me back to set up an appointment. I arrived on the appointment date and was greeted by a technician named John/Jon. He was very informative on what he was doing and went through and explained of all the chips I had on the front of the truck. He had promised it would be done within the hour which was fine because they have a legitimate movie theater. Free drinks, snacks, and ice cream.. The replacement was done within 30 minutes. Time for paperwork. The front desk lady, Im assuming her name is Kristie since its on the paperwork. She went over everything with me from the oil change coupon to the $140 CHECK. During this time she had explained to me to go online and fill out the form and the check would be processed. She did state that it would take 30 days but when I filled out the form the confirmation emailed states 90 days..No big deal.. I am in no rush since my insurance "preferred" company doesn't PAY OUT anything for a replacement. Why the 4 stars? After everything was said and done.. Would it have been nice to received the check/cash after? Of course.. So I'll play the waiting game. This will either change it to 5 stars and below.. read more

Update as of 7-17-19: Upon reading my initial review, Sherolyn responded offering to correct my service problems and make my experience outstanding. After months of doing nothing, I finally decided to take her up on the offer. Folks.....I want you all to know she came through! I called and gave her a very tight timeline, difficult service location and I wanted all of their incentives. She offered service within my timetable, at the location I requested and got the job done as promised. I swore I would amend my review if all went as promised thus I am standing behind my pledge and giving A&E and updated review of 4 stars. If my initial experience had been this awesome, it would have been a 5 star review. Very unprofessional!! When I called to make the appointment, someone was in the background dropping F bombs. When I arrived this morning, workers were coming and going all over the place and grabbing the drinks and snacks that were out for the customers. It is nice that they have that for the people that work there, but maybe a different location. They added something they weren't supposed to add to the window. I was really upset, but they removed it and made things right by giving me movie tickets. I appreciated that. They also offer a contest to win a TV if you leave them a 5 star review. read more

Last week I jumped in my new truck only to find a 10 inch crack in the windshield. I called my insurance company and they recommended safelite. I had heard about A&E from friends and radio ads so I asked my insurance company to let them do the job. When I spoke with A&E they were great. They were not able to get me on their schedule for the next day but said they could come on Saturday which worked for me. They arrived on time and even sent me a text to let me know they were 20 minutes away. The two guys that showed up were good. They changed out the glass in about 30 minutes. I can't even tell it's new glass it looks perfect. I feel they did a very good job and I do recommend them. read more

The technician was right on time to replace my windshield. He was efficient and professional . Before he left my house a fine line was noted in my windshield. I was told to call the office and they would replace the windshield. The rebate was disappointing. Other companies give an immediate rebate. A & E had an online application that had to be completed. No word on the application yet. I would have given a 5 stars rating except for getting a scratched windshield and the rebate.They came out right on time to replace the scratched windshield and I finally got the rebate. Wow. I love A&E!!! Eric and his whole team are awesome. And talk about work ethic. This owner has it!!! His office is in Mesa. A few months back he was training a new person to get new business and going to door to door in the neighborhood where I was. I was in Ahwatukee visiting a friend and met him. He was super nice, the approach was not pushy and he was respectful when talking to us. Now tell me how pounding the pavement to get new business isn't owning it and setting an example to make it happen? To me that is what being an entrepreneur is about and not only that how to make long lasting relationships. I talked to Eric later and he took care of me like he said he would. A man of his word. His team comes to your house or your work. So you don't have to worry about anything and it is done. He uses great glass and not the cheap stuff that other corporations use. He also gives a better deal than the big guys do. I'm pleased to give 5 stars and would give more if I could. This time, I got my damage verified by my insurance company, made an appointment at the A & E new location, arrived to the team standing ready, I watched a movie in their theater while waiting, had an ice cream and a coffee, it was quick, easy and again, I walked away with a $140 check PLUS a dinner. They are the biggest scam ever and you will now notice they will not work with Geico. They install a cheap windshield in my car but charge my insurance for the most expensive one and forged my signature. I still wonder how many people they must of done this too. I had a great experience with this company on my first windshield replacement in March of this year. They brought me my rebate check when they replaced the windshield and everything was great. I had a 2nd car windshield replaced in April and again the installation went great and I've had no problems or issues with either windshield. There was a small issue with the rebate check but Sherolyn responded to me right away and took care of the issue the same day. Great place to get your windshield fixed. The first visit her I drove by after hearing on the radio they fix your cracks for free. I had a few small chips they fixed right up. The second time here a year or so later I had them do my entire windshield as a replacement. Driving on the highways in Arizona there are so many rocks I probably get a ding every few months. Anyway, they worked with my insurance got it approved was scheduled the very next day after the inspection. The windshield is brand new and the service was top notch. They have a relaxing lobby with snacks and movies to wait in the shop! Great experience would recommend to anyone near and far. read more

I had a windshield replaced them about a year ago. They were supposed to mail me my rebate check. After a month or so I thought maybe the check got lost in the mail so I emailed them. There first response was they changed the processing company that processes their rebates. I was told it would take about another month. That time came and went and still no rebate check. Great experience working with them. Scheduled an appointment for 2 days after my windshield was cracked. Went into the shop and had had great service. They took my car in just a few minutes after I arrived. There was TV, for which I had the remote, drinks and snacks while you wait. 20 minutes or so later and my car was ready, was handed the keys with a $140 Chase check and a new windshield. I would give this company less than one star if I could. I went with this installer because I heard their ad on the radio so I figured they had to have some credibility. Long story short, I had the glass repaired on two vehicles in August 2019. I am still waiting for my two rebate checks and today is March 28, 2020. I get the same old excuses everyone else here gets so I am going to file complaints with the State of AZ Corporation Commission and anyone else I can think of on April 15 if this is not resolved. read more

Don't go here. The cash they offer is not worth it. We had an awful experience. We decided to take my car to their shop and waited several hours to have the windshield replaced. When we drove off, I noticed everything in my line of vision was wavy and distorted. I turned around and went back right back to their shop. You could see from the outside the glass was warped. So we waited another several hours to have it replaced again. Unfortunately less than a week later, my windshield got a crack and this time they came out to my work to replace it. I thought everything was finally good, until today when I had another huge crack and we had a different company replace it. The repair guy was in complete disbelief as he showed us the molding around the windshield was missing and a plug as well. He also showed us damage the previous installer caused when putting in the glass. Take our advice and don't go to A & E! read more
