As I'm in the middle of my workday I trusted him to do the job without me watching him. I come out and the second photo is my crack. Nothing was done other than maybe slapped some sealant on it and left. When I texted him he said he would come back and fix it. I feel ripped off. Not worth $40 and there's still a little crack as he rushed through the actual repair the second time. I should have done it myself with a $10 kit.

They showed up to my job within the time frame they provided, took about 45 mins to install my new windshield. Steven, my technician was friendly, professional and helpful with a minor issue I had non related to the windshield which I appreciate. I called several places to compare prices, they do offer great prices if you pay cash if you pay with a card there will be a hefty fee which puts them right at normal market prices. Overall, I am satisfied with my windshield and the service provided.

BEWARE - Cash customers…read more Twenty year old car with not even fifty thousand miles, showroom condition except for a small scratch on the front bumper and a couple wheel dings from a spicy curb or two. I did not use this facility to paint my bumper, I didn't even take the car in physically for the quote. I sent in a few pictures for a quote and Chapman decided that they needed to report damage to Carfax. I am not anti Carfax, I just don't think the scratch warrants a report and I would have liked to have known that simply asking for a quote would elicit such action. I am pretty annoyed for sure, but I would be enraged if I ever intended to sell this car. I thought others might like to know before making contact with Chapman. Cheers

Failed A/C Compressor at 13k Miles - Denied Full Coverage, I Took My Business Elsewhere…read more In March 2023, Sun Devil Auto replaced the A/C compressor in my 2005 Ford F-350. Less than 13,000 miles later (well before their 24,000 warranty), and just two months past the 24-month time-based warranty, the compressor failed. When I brought it in, their own team found the system completely empty, recharged it, and added tracer dye to track the leak. A few weeks later, I returned and was told the compressor had failed. This clearly wasn't a sudden breakdown--it had been leaking for a while, meaning the failure began within the warranty period. Not to mention it is well documented that compressors last a minimum of 60,000 miles which points to an install issue and/or faulty part. Despite that, Sun Devil Auto refused to cover the repair in full and offered to pay 50%--which really just looked like them covering their cost on the part, not the labor or my out-of-pocket diagnostic costs. They stuck to a script, pointed at the calendar, and chose policy over doing what's right. Delay in getting vehicle into service prior to 24-month warranty period was due to significant medical issues in my family that understandably took priority. I explained that, but it didn't matter. I acted in good faith and followed their process. They chose not to do the same. I've since declined their offer to cover half (effectively covering their cost) and I am taking my vehicle to another, more reputable shop, where I'll be paying full price for the repair--because I'd rather give my money to a company that stands behind its work and treats people like customers, not case numbers. Sun Devil Auto had a chance to do the right thing. They didn't. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend them. There are better options out there.
