We walked in to wait for the service to be performed on our vehicle and this huge young lady with super short shorts and all her belly hanging out from her camisole was sitting behind the desk. I was simply pulling into the oil change bay at Jiffy Lube at the intersection of Higley and McKellips in Mesa,AZ, as nobody seemed to be around, when suddenly the manager Vincent came out waving his arms and yelling at me, asking me what I was doing! After a road trip across the US my car had a couple light come on for oil change and oil filter. I had just gotten an oil change before leaving. I came to this pep boys and explained to them my situation. They examined my car and let me know that my lights may have came on but my filter and oil still looked really good. Nothing jiffy about it. Took an hour for the service. It wasn't busy. I told them to not bother with the filters. I just replaced both of them. They did anyway. I asked to have the tires set at 40 psi. (They're not stock) they are at 33 and 34 psi. Tires weren't checked obviously as truck manufacturer recommends 35psi. 3 times ago I got home and my truck was leaking oil. They recovered nicely by coming to my house and fixing. Bad bad bad......Thursday 11/03/22 the Higley and McKellips completed my oil change and I made a quick trip out of town for the weekend. One of the attendants managed to steal my Challenge Coin stuck in the dash board. When I then brought it up to the manager, he immediately said they are not responsible for valuables in the car. So in 5 minutes they can take what they want to steal and you are stuck with the results. I would not trade here and take Jiffy Lube off my list. read more

Went to jiffy lube to get my oil changed as I'm leaving in the morning to drive to Oceanside California for my family vacation. Oil change went fine the tech said they also topped my windshield washer fluid to which I said thank you. I got home and decided to clean my k&n cold air I take air filter and re-oil it. When I opened my hood I noticed that my cap wash missing to my washer fluid. I looked in my engine and could not find it so I called the shop and spoke with Jayce Dalton. He listened to what I said and then put me on hold after speaking with the tech who worked on my car he said, "when the tech opened your washer cap it broke and fell down near the wheel well." Then I asked him why didn't they tell me. He said, " well they found it and put it back on but it was broke" to which I replied why didn't you guys tell me that it was broken or needed to be replaced if you added fluid to it and it broke off that information should of been given to me. Just being honest and up front would of been better than me driving miles home and now not having a cap because it's nowhere to be found so now I have to use tape until I get it replaced. I asked him for the techs name who worked on my vehicle so I could speak to management about it because it's annoying that I had to come home and open my hood to find my washer cap is missing. I understand it's a small part but it would of been nice to know that it was broken so I could if kept it in place. He would not give me the techs name so I said I would look at my invoice and found it. It was upper bay tech Armando G. But Destiny also looked under my hood and didn't say anything as well. After paying $103.84 it would of been nice to know I needed to replace a part that they broke off. I will be calling the manager Michael Triebly Monday to speak with him as I will not be going here in the future and I will be talking to my manager of my company that has a fleet account with jiffy lube to let him know that this one close to our shop is dishonest so we won't be using them for business. Follow up so when I left for my trip I noticed my check engine light came on which put my anxiety through the roof since we were halfway to California. I stopped at an auto one to have them check my engine code to see what was going on and the engine code was related to oil viscosity. To make a long story short jiffy lube also put the wrong oil in my engine and I had to get an additional oil change which thankfully for me I went to valvoline who did it for free after hearing what jiffy lube did and how they even put the wrong oil in my truck. First, you add a shop fee at the end after the work is done when your coworker said he would finalize cost and let you know before starting the work when I asked originally. You should not have started the work before giving the total cost if you are going to add fees. You have the price per oil change advertised plus additional oil amount needed depending on the vehicle, and expected taxes added to that. That's all fair and expected. But adding shop fees at the end is false advertising. It's simple include the "shop fees" to the advertised cost of the oil change. That way the costs can be accurately compared with competitors costs. It's about the principle. The other principle violation was a complete lack of customer service by the manager. I can't remember his name...chubby..glasses...bearded.. long hair...we'll just call him asshole. So when the customer has a problem don't just shrug and blame it on corporate...and then get short and tell the them to "go to Walmart next time" when they take issue with the added cost asshole. Maybe I will go to Walmart next time. I've been to other jiffy lubes and it's always been good service and have never had a complaint btw. This one really is subpar. read more

This place is in shambles. I rarely leave a bad review but the service was just so bad. I called before coming in to see what the wait times would be and they said 10-15 minutes. I immediately went down thinking I'd be able to get my oil changed very quick. I ended up spending over 2 hours there and they couldn't even change the oil filter because they didn't have the tool (I drive a Toyota 4Runner so it's hard to believe common tools aren't required). I can't say that for his manager, Barker, who was dismissive and rude to me at the desk area when I arrived as well as when I paid. He didn't go over any of the work they did and I even had to ask him how much I was paying as he rang me up and told me to enter my cc. Worse oil change I've ever received. It's like they don't even know what they are doing there. They did not screw on my under shroud after performing a routine oil change. Allowed me to drive off the premises with my shroud dragging. I advised them of the situation and they had the audacity to tell me I brought it in that way. If you're looking for a super quick, in and out oil change experience than this is your place! After you pull around to the backside of the building someone will come and greet you shortly. They do a quick inspection of mileage, filters, etc. and come inside to give you a quote for service. I normally pay in the $65 range for synthetic which lasts me 5k miles so I don't have to come back so often. They always suggest I change my cabin filters, but you can make them last a little longer if you take them out and clean them off yourself between services. The best part is you're normally only there for less than 15-20minutes which is worth paying a premium for oil changes! Keep an eye out in the mailers and newspapers- they always have coupons available to use! read more

So I get a coupon for $14.99 at Jiffy Lube... and I literally spent probably 45 minutes of my morning trying to go to a Jiffy Lube and get my oil changed and all of them all started out with the same spiel well it's going to be $45.95 and a $2 service charge to even service your vehicle and you're probably better off going somewhere else and I'm just like flabbergasted that literally three different Jiffy Lubes were trying to convince me not even spend a dime at their store or use my coupon or anything I didn't even tell him about my coupon until the very end of the conversation and they were like oh you have a coupon cool. and their customer service is horrible never ever go to Jiffy Lube I am so annoyed with them normally I don't do posts like this but I guess it's cuz I'm getting older and nuttier but man Jiffy Lube sucks don't ever go to them I never will! read more

His lack of customer service skills amazes me that he would even be considered for a manager's position. His rude and lazy behavior would be an embarrassment to a company that had managers who cared about how they are perceived by the public. Maybe he is just a warm body they need to fill the position. I am still in shock at the gouging I received for an oil change and tire rotation. I was overdue for the oil and couldn't find anyone to take me for 2 more weeks so I went to the only place that was open on Sunday. $120 for this service? Thank God I had a $20 coupon! I have never been charged for a tire rotation with an oil change. And I have never paid over $50 for both oil change and tire rotation and this includes the oil filter. That is what I paid my previous change/rotation, and yes, for synthetic oil. The tire rotation wasn't even done on a lift. I don't even know if they really rotated the tires because they pulled my car up the side of their building and I walked outside and saw my car on a car jack with one tire off. For all I know they just put that tire right back on cause I didn't hear the drill for that long. And the one guy brings my air filter in to show it to who I guess was the manager, to see if it needed to be changed. My husband just replaced it 2 weeks prior and it was brand new. Stevie Wonder could have seen it didn't need to be replaced. I guarantee you at this price and under knowledgeable staff I will never go to Jiffy Lube again! I have been totally ripped off! 06-20-17: I received a call from Jiffy Lubes district manager. He told me the reason their prices are so high is they are not a repair shop where they can make money on additional services. He said I paid for the convenience of not having to make an appointment and they use better quality oil then other places. I was in total disagreement with him. I have gotten oil changes at other places that use quality oil and have never paid more than $50 and that included tire rotation, oil filter, all my fluids checked and topped if needed, and some also vacuumed my vehicle. My husband just got this service done at the Ford dealership for his F250 truck. Dealers have a reputation of overpricing and he paid $54 out the door! Yes, tire rotation included! I told the DM I never in my wildest dreams expected to pay $100 for this service. Had I known in advance I would have waited 2 weeks and made an appointment elsewhere. He made a comment that price is told before any work is done. Not in my case! The price I was told was the $20 for tire rotation and since I had a $20 coupon I was OK with that. There are no prices posted anywhere and again never expected that high of a cost. The oil price is a crock too because Jiffy Lube buys in bulk. And convenience of not waiting? I don't wait at fast food restaurants either but they don't charge me for convenience. Bottom line is Jiffy Lube gouges their customers and they don't care that they do this. I even mention to the technician that my car had recently been overheating when it was sitting still, and they still didn't check to see that I had virtually zero radiator fluid. Offered refreshments and shown the TV and the restroom. Checked my car history and offered the dealer recommended services. I just wanted an oil change today. They explained the oil differences and benefits of each. They also cleaned the windows and vacuumed the car. No high pressure sales. I went to Jiffy Lube for a regular oil change today, store # 2998 in Mesa AZ, and now my car is un-driveable! They broke a part on my radiator and to fix it stuck a bolt in the hose and a screw in the other side and sent me, my pregnant daughter and my 3-year old grandaughter out on the road with it. Luckily I wasn't far from home because we pulled in the driveway and fluid was pouring out of the car from their "repair" job. Josh Peterson, the manager, did the repair himself, I could see him working on it from the window of the waiting room where I was watching. He sent me into the waiting area and told me I could not stay out by the car and see what he was doing. Now I know why.
