Pretty bad service. I initially scheduled an appointment to have my windshield replaced 3 weeks ago, and drove to their location in mesa from north phoenix. I wait an hour, then was told they forgot to get the windshield so they'd sound out a mobile repair the next weekend and give me the full $140. Next weekend rolls around, no call, no show. I call them up, and was told I had not been scheduled for that day, so they'd re-schedule me again for the next weekend. Today's here. Big surprise, no call, no show. While the service day of replacement was great, I am currently sitting waiting for 1 hour, 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone. I had my service done over two month ago, thru insurance, and was offered the $140 cash back offer. I understood that they have to get paid by insurance before they pay it out, so I filled out the thing online, and waited. However, yesterday, I contacted my insurance to see when it was paid. It was paid August 6th. Its october 9th, more than 2 months later. Even accounting for mail time, I should have received it more than 2 weeks ago. My wife had her window replaced on our van and they did do a good job. I'm giving them a five star rating on the good quality work that was done on the van and for reassuring me. I highly recommend them to anybody. We we're a little frustrated because it took a little longer to get our money.I did talk to Sheryl the manger and explained our situation about the whole money thing and she did let me know she was super sorry and had told me the reason why. I got a promotion in the mail for this place and called to make an appointment to get my windshield replaced. The technician was supposed to be here between 9 and 1, and call me 30 minutes before arrival. At 2 I called to find out what was going on and was told the technician would call me but never received a call. I called back yet again an hour later and come to find out no one was coming and they were supposed to call me this morning because there was a problem with the reference number. They offered me an extra dinner certificate but that was not worth all my time wasted today. I canceled my appointment and I will find a company that will care about their customers. read more

The only positive experience I had with this company was whomever I spoke to through their Facebook page. Otherwise you wait 20+ minutes for a person to answer their phone, they don't take one of the most popular companies insurance claims (Geico) and if I waited for them to get back to me (a voicemail) I'd never have a new windshield. The gentlemen who replaced my windshield said they send them out from the office and it should be delivered in less than a week. Avoid these crooks at all cost!!! I scheduled with A&E Auto Glass to replace my cracked windshield. I scheduled the appointment during the week between Christmas and New Years to be completed during the first week of the new year. The day of my appointment my installer called me and said he was on his way at 11:45 and should be there within 30 minutes. So I was expecting him sometime around between 12:15 & 12:30. I received a text message at 1:30 stating he would not be making it this day and asked if another day would work. I called the installer to try to set something up and his phone went right to voice mail. I then texted him asking to schedule something with no response back. So after an hour of waiting I called into the office to let them know what happened and what needed to be done. The lady I spoke to said she was sorry and her solution to remedy the situation was to have me come to the shop. What is the point of offering a mobile service, and if your technicians don't show up your solution is to not be mobile. Worst way to remedy a situation. She then agreed to have me rescheduled for the following day, and we then agreed on a time. Well at about 4:30 the technician showed up with no phone call or warning. Luckily I was still at the office. So as part of the work order an 8" tint strip. Well the guy did not install the tint strip and said that he would have the office send out their mobile tint guy, which I thought since I had an appointment the next day they would tint it then. Well the following day the guy showed up and was told me he could not tint the window because it was already installed.....what??? When it was tinted originally the window was already installed so it baffled me that he could not tint it. So again I was promised someone else would come to tint the window. We are going on 2 weeks with no return phone calls or scheduled appointment. Take your business elsewhere, avoid this place no matter how big of a "rebate" they offer. It has not been worth the $120 check i got. Avoid these crooks. read more

These guys were awesome!! They set up a time frame and called 30 min prior just like they said. the tech sent me a text in the morning and introduced himself, his name is Jesus Leon. When he got to my office he was quick and efficient. By the time he was done I had my 100 dollars CASH! and the other 50 went to the School fundraiser we signed up for, I also had my dinner voucher to rodizios just like promised. they were very easy to deal with and very pleasant on the phone. im honestly not sure what the issues were from the other people who reviewed this page, but I had a very simple and pleasant experience. They use fraudulent advertising to get your business. They did not pay me even one of the rebate checks (we had 2 cars glass replaced). They never reply to emails and lie and say, if you call them, that they haven't been paid yet by insurance even though online I can see insurance paid them months ago. Made a claim and got the referral to replace my windshield on November 4th and was told that I would be called to schedule a replacement within three days because they had to wait for my windshield. Fast forward almost two months later, I have called A & E multiple times and was told that my case would be forwarded to management to get me on the schedule. Called again today to tell them I will probably go with someone else and the customer rep told me to call my insurance to remove the referral and got me off the phone quickly. I have been using this company since 2004. The owner has always taken great pride in his work on my vehicles and friends I have referred to him. I took my car in for some chip repairs and fully expected to pay for my repairs, but to my surprise when I asked what I owed I was told he does up to 4 chip repairs for free. =O I was like no way that's awesome!! It was explained to me that if a tire shop can offer free tire repairs, then they can offer free chip repairs! Great glass shop and great people! ! read more

Now I understand why they only have 3 stars. I set up an appointment with them for a Saturday. The installer calls and advised me he was going to be 2 hours late so I had to reschedule do to plans. Could not wait an extra 2 hours. So I reschedule for the next Saturday and request the car be driveable by 1pm they told me it wouldn't be a problem due to having to reschedule. Again the installer advises me that he wouldn't be here until 1pm okay whatever I needed the glass replaced. So installer get here again late and then advises me that they brought the wrong glass. So yet again have to waste my time waiting another Saturday. Have never seen such a An organized company. And on top of everything else I get no apology I get nothing. Ok, so A & E originally came out on September 10th, last Monday. I was given a window of 12-5pm. Nobody shows. I call at 4:58 because I know they are closing. The lady says, the tech should have been there by now. So he gets here about 6pm or so, and it was a shit show the whole time. I have State Farm and $0 deductible for glass. Should NEVER have called these people. So the tech leaves about 7, it's dusk, and I pull the truck from the curb into the garage. I see a mark, but it looks like one of those dealer pens used to write on windows. I go out to the garage about an hour later just to be sure. It's a HUGE crack from top to bottom starting underneath where he put the blue tape. Right in my line of sight on drivers side. I immediately left 2 messages, took pics, and sent email that night. Now a reputable company would have followed up on my messages as soon as they got in in the morning. Nope!! I had to call them. Do you think I was their 1st appointment that next day or that they were apologetic?? Nope! So, here it is a week later. They said last Tuesday morning, day after original appt. that they'd be here same time frame as before, 12-5pm. They said they couldn't fix it for a whole week. For an error THEY CAUSED due to THEIR NEGLIGENCE! I call at 3:30 because it's getting late, and the girl says, they're not coming today, maybe tomorrow! No phone call, because i've been waiting here all day for an appointment they booked, wtf?! I have never been so livid. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!! I'm also calling the BBB and the radio station they advertise on. Yes, i've already called my insurance who is going to rectify this mess. Thank goodness I have insurance. **UPDATE JUNE 2, 2019 So I received a communication from Sherolyn from A&E regarding my post directly below. She asked me to give her a call and I did just that. She explained to me that they are in fact still making good on their offer to provide customers who have had their windshields replaced by A&E, through their insurance company, cash or checks in the amount of $140 or $120 depending on whether or not you want them to come to your home to do so. She went on to explain that this payment would be made 30 days after they had received payment from your insurance company. I understood that because evidently some insurance companies have been a bit flaky about making payments to them. So if you don't receive your payment when you think it should have been made you should contact Sherolyn at the number in this review below and she will give you a status update on your particular claim. I did this with her, and sure enough my check came in the mail right on time. Thank you Sherolyn for accepting my challenge and stepping up and proving to me that this offer is bonafide and sincere. Also I should mention that the actual work done on my car was both timely and professional. I was amazed that they actually installed my new windshield in only 25 minutes and it looks and performs great. I am a business owner and was looking for a good company to help with our fleets but I would never do this to our customers and can't believe they would do this. I picked up my check after they asked me to wait a period of time. I went to my bank & deposit the check. Everything seemed fine, until two days later I noticed the funds were withdrawn. I called my bank and they told me the check had bounced. I called Sherolynn back (BTW her department is called the happiness department). She did not answer, so I left a message. I called to submit my claim, which was effortless and my appointment was scheduled for the following day. I received a text message from my technician in the morning to confirm my appointment window and he arrived as scheduled. Heard about them through radio ads... So I looked them up online and submitted my information. I got a quote through email and was very happy. Setup an appointment, but had to call in to do so. When I called, I had to go through the whole quote process again! A bit frustrating but ok... Setup the appointment for 8 am on February 15th. Showed up at 8, they couldn't find any of the paper work. They ordered the right glass but refused to start til the found everything. They started at 9, good deal it's all behind us. They said it would take about an hour, which is expected. I had to Lyft to an appointment I had - no biggy. Lyfted back, its now 10:10 and they have only just removed the windshield. My morning is shot because of poor organization and delays in execution. However, they did recognize all the fails. To apologize they gave me some BBQ tickets for Saturday in addition to the promised tickets via the radio for the Brazilian steak house, but it's only for one person! They did a good job with the windshield. I would give them one more shot, only because they did recognize the fails and that is the most important part. They could have strapped it to a donkey and i would have it by now but i dont. My windshield needs to be replaced agian and i won't use these frauds. So to start off, i called and tried to set an appointment on numerous occasions and they would not even answer the phone. I sat on hold once for over 15 minutes before i hung up. After 4 days of continuing to be ignored i requested an online quote which they replied to later that day. When we finally got everything all sorted out the guys came and fixed the windshield and they were super friendly. They told me how to get the rebate check and gave me a free meal coupon to a restaurant. I went with A&E auto glass due to their radio ads for cash rebate back in April. Day of service comes (which to be fair was on time and a professional installer) and am told they changed their policy where rebate is mailed. Ok no problem. It is now 3 months later and no rebate received. I come online and see that this seems to be a recurring issue with this company so I finally call today, and after a lengthy hold, am told that "it was mailed over a week ago." Now I am pretty sure that it does not take a week for mail to get from Mesa to Tempe. At a guess, they probably will put in mail today and curiously I will receive it in 2 days which is what I would expect from a standard mail from Mesa to Tempe. We'll see if that actually occurs or not. Would not recommend! Update: I was contacted last night by Sherolyn who expressed that she wanted to make this right asap. We had our windshield replaced months ago they brought a windshield with out a tint strip and promised us someone would be back out to put the tint strip on. That never happened. I see a lot of reviews on here now talking about their rebate check bouncing. We NEVER even received our rebate check. EVERY time my husband calls he gets the run around. Once they told him the check was sent out but returned to them and that she had it and she would personally send it back out. That never happened either. It's been months now. So, my husband called A&E because they said he'd get a check for $120 30 days after the installation of his wind shield. It was after several phone calls and over 70 days later that we finally got the check. I just got off the phone with my bank because the check bounced. They gave my husband the runaround and now we have to pay a $12 fee because the check was returned for insufficient funds. Great. I will say his windshield looks fine and he said the installation person was nice and professional. Not worth the aggravation though, unless you don't care about the money. I had my windshield replaced by A & E Auto Glass a month ago. They were completely transparent from the beginning, that I'd receive either a $120 rebate for using the mobile service, or $140 rebate, if I had it replaced at their location. The tech was very thorough and we did a walk through before and after to inspect any prior damage and to ensure nothing had been damaged afterwards. Their waiting area was much nicer than other places, they had various snacks and beverages to accommodate most diets. My windshield was replaced in about 30 minutes and they provided clear instruction for maintenance and how to utilize the rebate. I was advised that the rebate would not be issued until they had received payment from my insurance company. The rebate website was extremely simple and took less than 5 minutes to complete. It took about a month to receive my rebate. I spoke with Sherolyn, she was extremely kind and assured me she'd take care of it right away, & she did!
