The technician who came by was pleasant, but when he heard we wanted a complete rewire, he did not even inspect the property or the amp panel. He just ballparked us a random number that made absolutely no sense. It was when I asked him to do an inspection to review the scope of work that he half heartedly opened a few outlets and said "ok, we're just going to replace them." In the end he gave me a quote verbally and never even sent me an actual quote that was promised. I would be extremely careful working with this company or choosing them for any high level electric work. If you review them on BBB or the California licensing board, you'll see that the owner is C-10 licensed but his workers are contractors who are working under his license. In comparing them to other electric companies in SGV in which the workers are licensed, this company uses just random contractors so the quality of your work varies.

He and his apprentice were able to run a dedicated line from our subpanel in the garage right outside to the sauna. They also installed the heater and temperature sensor (this is highly recommended by the heater companies! Don't install these without professional help!) The work was completed professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. It took them a few hours but they finished it the same day. It's hard to find contractors who are both reliable and fairly priced, but Caldera Power Services delivered on both.
