Jose of JV Builders was the 5th licensed contractor I interviewed. On his consultation visit, he didn't just take a peek, make a few measurements and leave. And he didn't over-stay the consultation visit by asking way too many personal questions about our jobs and to basically gauge what he would (over) charge. My mother-in-law needed a walk-in/accessible shower due to having a bad fall. So with my wife's vision/design we laid out our plan for Jose and his team. Each member of Jose's team were hard-working, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Jose himself wasn't in everyday but was accessible anytime we had a question or request. And he was quick to take action every step of the way. After about 10 days, Jose's team finished the shower. While it wasn't a true walk-in shower (it would've taken extra time to coordinate with the HOA on a concrete issue), the end result was a stylish, accessible shower that Mamita (mother-in-law) declared, "this is better than any hotel shower."
