Jorge remodeled both master bath and jack and jill bathroom for us. He also installed new cabinets and counters for our laundry room. We are very happy with the Jorge's work and have lots of good things to say about him and his team! In the beginning, Jorge visited our house and spent couple of hours answering all the questions we had. He submitted very detailed quotes, which I liked, and after the project started, he remain easy to reach and patient. When there were issues, Jorge provided good recommendations, which was extremely helpful to stressed and nervous couples like us dealing with a costly project for the first time. Jorge's guys are super nice and they deliver good quality work. Another great plus I want to mention is that Jorge does not cheap out on materials such as grout and paint. He uses very good stuff, which is why we are so reassured with his work. Our remodel finished on time and very close to budget. I could say a lot more as to why Jorge deserves a 5 star review, but in short, we will recommend Jorge to our family and friends in a heart beat. read more

We were very pleased with the remodel of our two bathrooms. Jorge and his team could not have been more professional and communicative. Both of our bathrooms were original to our 1949 built house. They were a mess! They have been transformed with incredible attention to detail. We had upgrades including smart toilets and a jetted tub. VIP took each bathroom down to the studs and rebuilt them. The projects were completed on time and without any hiccups. Both rooms were permitted and had to go through the South Pasadena planning department's rigorous standards for approval. Highly recommended Jorge and his crew. We would use them for any future jobs: read more

This is our 3rd project with Jorge and VIP, two of them bathroom renovations. From start to finish, Jorge is a contractor of excellent skill and integrity. His estimates for work costs are reasonable, his team is efficient and always leaves the space in perfect condition daily, his communication before and during the project is excellent, and with each project, the work was completed in the time estimated. In addition to supervising his team, Jorge is 'hands on' and was a skilled artist with installing our custom tile. Honestly, we would not consider a home project without him. read more

VIP Remodeling did an amazing job remodeling our mid-century modern home. George Higareva and his crew worked on every part of our home and the results are transformative. Absolutely the best general contractor! From the initial estimate to the final walk thru, Jorge H. provided excellent service with high quality results. We remodeled our 1941 master bathroom finally. Although the estimate was slightly higher than we expected, we definitely got what we paid for - QUALITY craftsmanship and PEACE of mind with VIP Remodeling. His estimate is very detailed, so you know what you are getting upfront. His team was meticulous about keeping the work area (and my house) clean everyday. They identified and resolved any unforeseen issues and managed design changes in a timely manner with minimal impact to schedule. They were so easy to work with and flexible. They also were on the job site everyday, dedicated to my job. They even worked on a few Saturdays. Jorge is very knowledgeable and answered my litany of questions and concerns. He patiently provides clear explanations and design options. I trusted his suggestions and ideas, which is a first for me with contractors. He gets it done right. If you want the best then hire VIP Remodeling! read more

I didn't know there were contractors like Jorge. I couldn't say more about Jorge's service and professionalism. He was on budget, showed up to work everyday he said he would, and completed the job a little early. We had no issue's getting all the punch list items corrected after cabinet and tile installation. Jorge even had some things fixed that I wouldn't have noticed. His work was excellent and we cannot be happier. I simply cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed working with him and I can't wait to save up enough to start the other jobs I want to do in my house. He's renewed my faith in contractors. I can't imagine having anyone else do my work. Joe Neal read more

I was really hoping to leave a 5 star reviews like all the others but I am very disappointed. VIP remodel came from a neighbors referral. I have had some very bad experiences with remodeling and saw the amazing job Jorge and his team did and was excited. My neighbor told me there were some minor hitches along the way; time line weren't met, not because of Jorge and his team but city issues, few change orders but because they decided to adjust the plans and they spent more than they wanted to. My issue is he came, seemed very nice but never sent a quote. 1 week later, I have sent a few text messages without even a reply......not at all what I expected. Creates an unnerving feeling....I don't feel I should have to hunt someone down for a quote.....customer service goes a long way. I get it if your busy, just say something, I'm delayed but haven't forgotten about you and am still very interested in assisting with your project. All I can assume with no response is he wasn't interested in working with me. read more

After a very extensive search for a remodeling company we found VIP Remodeling, the level of service from VIP remodeling was great. Very professional came to our house the next day after we called for an estimate, Jorge was able to answer all our questions, and helped us through out the entire process, gave us excellent ideas and was very patient with our last minute changes, they did a full remodel of our home plus a complete addition, they took care of all the planning permits and inspections. We have and will continue to recommend VIP Remodeling for any general contracting work. read more

We cannot recommend VIP Remodeling highly enough! Jorge Higareda is a very talented contractor and project manager. Jorge and his team completely reworked and transformed our dreary, ugly, tiny master bath into a luxury mini oasis. The work is all high-end and there was no cutting corners, sloppy workmanship, or substandard materials. Jorge knows each aspect of the trade, code, materials, design, and project implementation. Everything was plotted and finished to perfection. Jorge is honest, trustworthy, and reliable, and the same can be said of his hardworking team. We trusted Jorge and his team with our home and our indoor cat. We knew our project would be pricey and all bids we got were very close. Jorge's bid was in the middle and he stuck to it. We chose to make some extra "while we're at it" changes that Jorge was happy to accommodate. Jorge was also happy to make adjustments every time I changed my mind. Jorge and his team worked every day and even worked late to keep the project on track. He checked the quality of the work at every stage. Jorge was responsive to calls and texts. He solicited feedback regularly and really had our best interests in mind at every stage. Jorge is laid-back, hands-on, and very easy to work with. What a great experience! Thanks, Jorge! read more

Jorge and VIP Remodeling are incredible! This was our first remodel experience and we are so lucky to have hired them. We did a full kitchen and master bath remodel along with new floors and painting throughout our townhome - every step of the way, Jorge was communicative, helpful, trustworthy, engaging, and so knowledgeable. Their bid was comparable to others we explored and Jorge was able to explain everything from beginning to end. He was also clear if there was any change orders that came up along the way and our project remained on time (which is unheard of in renovation projects these days!). Jorge and his team were very thorough, hardworking, kind, professional and even cleaned up at the end of every day. Jorge gave us our dream home and we are so pleased with every aspect of the remodel. We're so grateful to have found them and cannot wait to hire them for our next project! read more

It has been a pleasure working with VIP Remodel. Greg and his crew have been a breath of fresh air. Greg Saris is attentive, delegating, and obvious asset to the company. We feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with you and have been assured by your character, your professionalism and your integrity. I'm certain that new construction has a myriad of its own challenges. But remodels are "up close and personal" and folks' personal space and beloved homes are entrusted to you. I cannot say enough good things about Jorge and VIP Remodeling. Many other companies just wanted to give me an oral bid, and others would not even come out to look at the project because it would not be a complete gut and replace job. The bathroom remodel included replacing a window on my 1946 Pasadena home, as well as completely re-tiling the walls and the floor. Jorge gave me a very detailed written bid, and was scrupulous about updating the contract to reflec progress payments. He had great design ideas, and was absolutely on board with my desire to have the bathroom reflect the '40s style of the house. He also was completely above-board when dealing with the City and permits. Everything was neatly done, I was kept completely informed, and it was not disruptive at all, which is a miracle. Hands down the best construction experience I have had in 30 years of owning the house. read more

My family has a lot of experience with home remodeling which enables me to say that VIP REMODEL was absolutely the best experience yet! They were everything one wants in a home remodeling company: 1. Prompt 2. Courteous 3. Creative 4. Responsible 5. Professional From beginning to end Tony, our design consultant, had our back. We came in knowing exactly what we wanted, but he recommended some terrific products and ideas. If we find something that needs fixing or adjusting they send someone over right away. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

I just moved into my new place in DTLA and totally love it. Only problem was that the bathroom was kind of a tight squeeze. The toilet and sink were a little too close together, and the tiles were a little out dated. I got referred over to VIP Remodel from my cousins, who recently had their kitchen fully remodeled by then as well. I spoke to one of the managers over the phone for a consultation, and the very next day, they were in putting in work. Everything was great - they worked within my budget, and were super cool about leaving the house and come back when I came back from work. Thanks VIP read more

Jorge came highly recommended and he completed a kitchen update for us. We later hired him to update another portion of our home. Tried to call for a quote to have a new bathroom shower built and a new floor put in. The guy told us this wasn't a complete remodel and they couldn't help me. Seems a little ridiculous. My family and I had the opportunity to receive the best service from VIP Remodeling on a renovation project we had done in our home. The construction workers were very friendly and professional. Moreover, we were able to plan out a timeline of when our kitchen, office, living room, and dining rooms would be completed. The owner George was able to give us some helpful advice on the type of flooring, tile, and color schemes to choose from at very reasonable price. Another great thing that I really thought was great about VIP's service was how quickly they worked so there were no major delays. We ultimately reccomend VIP Remodeling for anyone who is seriously looking to get quality work done on their home with a high level professionalism and quality. read more

I recently had a master bathroom remodel done with VIP Remodeling. Job was completed in 4 weeks. The experience was very good from beginning to end. Jorge, (the owner) came in for a requested free estimate. He had very good design ideas and also was open for our must haves in the design. Changes were made to the design due to our budget and Jorge had provided good compromises to the design to meet our needs. His crew from demo, plumbing, electrical and anything in between was excellent. They cleaned up at the end of every work day which made living during a remodel much more feasible. They even worked Saturday. Communication was great. Me and my wife was informed of the process along the way. This constant communication gave us a timeline of when we can make changes that will not impact the remodel greatly. My wife and I whole heartedly recommend Jorge for your remodeling needs. Communication and openness to the customer's ideas makes him a top notch above the 5 bathroom remodelers that I interviewed and requested a quote from. read more

We hired VIP to remodel our bathroom. The project went smoothly and the results are perfect! Jorge was very easy to work with, extremely responsive, and took full responsibility to fix things when we had a couple of hiccups in the process (in my experience, hiccups are a standard part of almost any home improvement project). VIP did custom tile work, built custom solid wood cabinets, and got us a beautiful Carrara marble vanity counter that Jorge sourced from slab remnants, which helped keep the cost down. On that note, the price was very reasonable for the quality of work and attention to detail. I will definitely be working with Jorge and VIP in the future! read more

Big fan of flip or flop so it inspired me to update my house this fall. Even though the tv show makes it seem a little harder then it is, it really isn't that hard to remodel a house if you have the right contractor. Tony was well organized with the proper documents ready for me to sign, always had the material ready for me to pick out, he had a payment schedule spelled out in black and white, and the quality of product and work was A grade. Remodeling is not cheap but it is well worth it. read more

A big thank you to Greg and his crew for getting our kitchen remodeled just in time for the holidays! The 3D design of our new kitchen layout was extremely helpful for visualizing the open concept we were looking for. I was hesitant about the wall that divided our kitchen but we put our trust in Greg and it turned out better than we can hope for. With all needs met everything went according to plan. There was consistent communication. Workers were extremely professional cleaning up everyday. Service was straightforward , no hidden fees and all deadlines were met. read more

I am happy to say that my kitchen is 100 % complete. Although we had a few bumps with out of stock materials, Tony took it upon himself to go and find similar products. I would have preferred my original material selections but I know in this industry tile can go out of stock. My only recommendation is to make sure the materials you select are available immediately. The good thing is that once the materials are at the house, these guys rock when it comes to installation. They know what they are doing and it was amazing watching the transformation. read more

Tony oversaw the project and made sure all the permits were pulled with the city. He waited for the inspector to come over every other day for inspections. Ask to see the material selection; it will blow your mind! read more

The whole kitchen from the materials to the design came out better then I expected. Glad that I hired a professional to get it done and not call family friends with uncles who want to remodel. I saved a lot of time going with Vip because they bring you tons of samples, help with the selection of material, and listen to your needs. I was asked what upgrades I wanted in my kitchen, as well as what issues I had with the existing layout. A window relocation eventually was the best solution to add counter space so we did it. We had some minor rotten wood sub floor damage and they took care of it right away. Once the project was complete a crew showed up to clean the house and I must say I was impressed by the entire company and work ethic. read more

If there was an option to give 6 stars, that would be my rating! I can't tell you how many times I've felt taken advantage from other companies. The crew are the REAL VIP's. Jorge and his team did an amazing job on our home!!! It is absolutely stunning and he is not your typical contractor but an amazing craftsman. My husband and I were by no means easy clients because we are both artists (extremely picky). Jorge was always wiling to go above and beyond to make us happy. We did go over budget because we added some work along the way and didn't anticipate some extra costs. My advice is have 3 separate budgets. 1. Construction 2. Appliances, faucets, fixtures 3. Permits, Architect Costs. Also research any architect you decide to hire even if they work with your contractor. Have a cushion of 10-20k as a just in case. There were a few hiccups but that should be expected with any remodel. The more important thing was Jorge always remained calm and extremely professional throughout the process. Any concerns or changes that needed to be made were addressed with a helpful attitude. Jorge responds immediately to texts and calls which was extremely reassuring especially when our house was down to its studs. My husband and I still can't figure out when Jorge eats or sleeps because he's so dedicated to his clients. Every last detail was executed beautifully. I cannot say enough about how beautiful our home is now. I highly recommend Jorge VIP Remodeling!!! Jorge is a great guy and after interviewing a dozen contractors I'm very happy we chose him!!! Full kitchen and two bath remodel took 2months and 2weeks (quote was fair for what we had done). Go with Jorge you will not be disappointed! We loved working with him!!! read more

Got referred by a co worker to call VIP Remodel for a small bathroom remodel. They quoted me a decent price and completed the job in about 2 weeks. They worked Monday-Saturday from 8-4. Sorry for being so picky but you guys ended up doing a great job. read more

Its been a year since Tony helped us remodel our kitchen and things are still looking as if they were new. I let Tony handle everything with his experience I knew I was in good hands. I went with custom cabinets, which is the most expensive option, they also sell the already made cabinets which cost less. Initially I was going to go with lowes cabinets after further research, they actually do not even offer custom cabinets, just overpriced pre made cabinets. The great thing about custom cabinets was the ability to go on houzz and pick the nicest white inset cabinets and just get a similar look. Once the cabinets arrived to the house 3 weeks later, the installers did such an amazing job installing. These guys really care about their work and make sure all the doors are flush, the bottoms are leveled, and the glides are super smooth. With Vip remodel your not just buying the cabinetry, but a high level of craftsmanship from their entire team, attention to detail, and post project services. read more
