Eddy was awesome to work with. We needed 900 feet of string lighting installed in our backyard for an event, and he was able to come out within 24 hours. The work turned out beautifully and completely transformed the space. He was professional, efficient, communicative, and clearly experienced, but also just a genuinely kind and pleasant person to have around during a busy event setup. It's hard to find someone this reliable and responsive these days. Highly recommend Eddy Handyman and will absolutely use him again for future projects. read more

I am so glad I called Handy Eddy! Adam did a WONDEFRFUL job replacing the old, worn out weatherstripping on my front door. There were gaps where bugs were getting in. Adam communicated throughout the entire process, ordering the proper materials and returning soon after. Always on time. Extremely professional. I will DEFINITELY use Handy Eddy again for any repairs I have around my home. It is reassuring to know that there are still companies out there that care about the quality of their work, as well as their customers. read more

I've hired Slava twice now and have had a great experience both times. He installed an outlet, repaired my baseboards, and mounted a few things for me, and everything came out great. What really stood out was how respectful he was of my home. I recently refinished my wood floors, and without me asking, he took his shoes off every time he came inside. Small detail, but I really appreciated it. Great work, respectful, and reliable. I'll definitely be hiring him again. read more

Slava was a machine, super fast and efficient. Fair price, would recommend to anyone who needs general handyman services.

Kudos to Edem for being very quick and responsive when I reached out via Yelp for a free quote for a few small jobs I had around the house. Edem was very nice and came out as soon as he was available for the quote and provided the quote quickly, so no surprises. Also easily available via phone and text. Recommend checking out Edem for help with work you may need around the house! read more

Edem and Slava were able to accommodate a short timeline for a task that's been nagging at me literally for decades since we had our house re-piped. Short notice because I had a short window of availability for the temporary loss of laundry room use to get the wall fixed and replace the appliances. Slava was able to work around the existing tankless water heater and made the wall look brand new again. He was very accommodating in making sure he addressed all concerns and took care of all the details I wanted included. Top notch quality workmanship at a fair price. I couldn't be happier or more grateful to finally get that taken care of. read more

Fantastic experience. But maybe different than others, so I think it's worth a description. I try my best to do as much DIY around the house as I possibly can so that I can learn, but every now and then I encounter a problem that I just don't know how to solve. In this particular case, I wanted to build a cement wall around a crawlspace entrance that was getting flooded during major rain. I had built the molds, excavated the hole, but I was getting stumped because the side of the house was protruding differently than the foundation (see the first photo). Long story short, I called Edem. He responded right away. He wasn't able to personally make it but he had one of his teammates CJ come (who was just as knowledgeable). Eddy also came by mid-day just to check things out. CJ helped to adjust the mold. He helped me buy a few additional things (gravel etc.) that I didn't know I was supposed to do. He helped with the concrete. Really helped me to solve the issue and the wall is great (see second photo). So this wasn't a typical "handyman" project, and yet, I couldn't have had a better experience. Highly recommend. Planning to use him in the future for more projects. read more

I requested for a service to fix our closet that broke down and collapsed. The closet was originally done by a contractor who built the house and was poorly done. Unbelievable, the house is brand new, one month old and this had already happened. Luckily I found Edem from Handy Eddy to help me. He did an excellent job fixing the closet. His quality of work was commendable. Value wise, very reasonable for a good quality of work. He basically removed the entire built in hangers and made a new one with hanging shelves for 2 bedrooms and coat room. I will definitely keep him in my contact list, if I should need any work done moving forward. He is a nice guy, accommodating honest and very professional. And most specifically he works very clean, he cleans up after working on the project. Overall, i am a satisfied customer. I highly recommend Edem. read more

I am THRILLED that I stumbled upon Handy Eddy to complete projects around my house that I either don't wanna do, don't have time to do or I simply cannot do! Eddy is very prompt, completely reliable and extremely talented! We are so happy with the outstanding job that Eddy did for us. He is extremely knowledgeable, and his work is very meticulous and thorough. Eddy is a true professional--he arrived on time, went out of his way to complete everything on our to-do list, and was an absolute pleasure to engage with. We asked him to install brackets for plants on a wall that involved precise measuring--and a tricky placement of the brackets (so they would be hidden from view). Eddy's impeccable installation exceeded our hopes for this project. He also touched up the grout of some shower tiles, and beautifully refurbished our driveway lanterns to look like new. Eddy is simply the best handyman we've encountered in our many years of home ownership--you won't be disappointed! read more

Eddy was great from start to finish. Prompt reply, asked questions and requested photos so he would know how to best handle the job. Gave a fair quote quickly and was able to add on a few additional odd jobs during his visit. He was able to repair the steps I had and didn't try to "upsell me" on paying to have them completely rebuilt. I will call on him again! UPDATE: Eddy handled a pretty challenging job for me - hanging some acoustic panels from my ceiling above my home vocal booth. He made sure he used materials that wouldn't vibrate and get picked up by my mic without me even thinking about it! But, Eddy did! That kind of attention to detail, care and thoroughness is so rare and I appreciate it!. I have a long punch list of to-do's around the house, so I'll be calling on Edem again SOON! read more

We would highly recommend Adam. He has worked on several painting and restoration projects for our 1904 Pasadena home. He can handle simple tasks with ease as well as more detailed projects. Very impressed with his work on our large original windows, and a deck railing, among other items that needed quite a bit of attention. His prep work before painting is excellent, his father who also works with him is just as meticulous. He makes recommendations while working never moving ahead without discussing them first. I had a few items that needed fixing at my property and reached out to several contractors. Most of them don't even bother to call back (very annoying and common!), but not Edem! He answered right away and was very responsive throughout, which was much appreciated.
