Miguel, Pancho, and their team did a fantastic job on my mini bathroom remodel. I wasn't ready to invest in a complete remodel and left the original shower tiles and salvaged the old vanity, but my bathroom looks completely transformed nonetheless. I had gotten 3 estimates before I found Miguel and let's just say that Miguel offers extremely reasonable prices. Two of the quotes I received were at least double of what Miguel quoted me. Miguel is easy to communicate with and reviewed all the work I requested. I wanted new flooring, wall paneling removed and smoothed out with new paint, change of all the fixtures and exhaust fan, change the shower door and mirror, and add a recessed light over the shower. He provided the quote and we agreed to a payment plan. He informed me of everything that I needed to purchase on my end and have ready for his team when they arrived. They were punctual and very respectful of the space and clean as well. You can tell Miguel really takes pride in his work and even went above and beyond what we originally agreed to. I also asked him to change out the vanity in the guest bathroom as a last minute request and he was able to help me with that too. Over the years Miguel has done multiple projects at our East LA house. He's built a fence and gate, redone a bathroom, repaired stairs, and replaced a sliding glass door. Recently with his partner Pancho they installed a whole house water filtration system and RO filter, installed a split AC system in the work studio and re-floored our entire house, including the kitchen and bathroom. Everything they have done was up to professional standards and was done with a lot of care. They remained flexible as issues arose (something always comes up!) and they were fast and courteous throughout every job. We will definitely hire them again as other projects come up. read more

Miguel and his brother renovated our old bathroom. It was in need of updating and sprucing up. They removed the old linoleum flooring, sanded to smooth out a couple of places on the walls that had been sloppily patched with plaster years ago when a copper repipe was done. They removed the old sink vanity and carefully painted the new vanity to match the bathroom walls. After preparing all of the bathroom surfaces they installed new flooring and new decorative baseboards. They painted the walls, doors, and ceiling. They installed the faucet and pop up drain, as well as a new P-trap pipe below. They neatly affixed the vanity in the corner and attached the backsplash engineered stone piece. They secured the vanity in the corner with appropriate caulking to make sure water wouldn't be able to drip down behind the vanity. They worked hard over the course of 2 days to get it all done, and now our bathroom looks updated and beautiful! read more

I always know I'm in good hands with Miguel, he is reliable and detail-oriented. I've used Miguel for a few projects, the latest of which he mounted a tv for me. It might sound like a simple task but it was a bit more completed given the location (tight space above non-working fireplace) and most importantly, I didn't want to have any cords showing. Miguel worked diligently to deliver on what I wanted, even though it was a bit more involved than anticipated. He had to cut into the wall (I had to look away a couple of times, ha). Once he sorted out the wiring and finished setting up the mount, I thought he'd quickly patch the wall and use the tv to cover up the work but he took the time to repaint the entire wall so that it was uniform before hanging the tv. He is meticulous and approaches everything he does with care. I've referred a couple of my friends to Miguel, each of them have been so pleased with his work. Our roof/window was leaking every time it rained and we weren't sure where the leak was. Miguel came out and identified the problem (weak spot in the roof with wood damage underneath). In one day, he removed the old section of roof, re-roofed, replaced the damaged wood, replaced/repainted all of the wood framing around the window, the drywall, wall texturing, and floorboards -- he also cleaned the gutters!
