It came with the traditional salt, pepper, and lime mix that was on point and a Mayo sauce that was meh, like they mixed mayonnaise and a bit of sriracha to give it color. Calamari was crisp and well seasoned. The big disappointment was the beef "bowl". It legit is just beef mixed with onions and some cilantro severed over a cup of white rice. No pickled veg, no traditional fish sauce, not even traditional Vietnamese green onion and oil mix. Avoid the bowls unless it's for a child. Not worth the $$ read more

Very puzzled. This restaurant had great reviews so we thought we would give it a try. The service was fine. Very friendly. But Pho is Vietnamese and none of the staff were Vietnamese and the food was not Vietnamese. I ordered crispy shrimp bun, which I assumed would be grilled shrimp. But it was deep fried. They were very small and I assume they came from a bag of frozen breaded shrimp. It came with a roll, which I thought would be a fresh salad roll but it was deep fried and again I have to believe it was from a bag of frozen egg rolls. They gave a healthy serving of deep fried onions (heavily deep fried meal when I was expecting something fresh and healthy), but the portion of the meal itself was very light. Cashier was very patient and gave quick and friendly service. We did not wait long for 3 soups. Pho was also very delicious and packed with flavor. This spot is surprisingly good! It's a bit hidden and questionable from the outside but the inside seating is super clean and nice. I got the lemongrass beef vermicelli bowl and it was SO good! I love that they added an egg roll and crispy onions. The beef has really good flavor and is thin sliced. I also got the vegan spring rolls which were super fresh and pair so good with the peanut sauce. I also tried the Jasmine lychee tea and it did need a bit of sweetness to it but still refreshing! This is the best vegan pho I've ever had this place ended my search for my favorite pho the broth was sooooo flavorful. The portions were just as much as usual pho meaning I got like a pound of noodles and a a tub of broth. Plus the service was great! The person who rung me up was very friendly and kind. I hate to write this review. My previous experience with this place when they were out of the liquor store was so much better. The food is off now. Pho broth lacks flavor, but also I felt completely ripped off. I got maybe one once of meat for a $15 pho, 1.5 times the price of normal. The meat was also very fatty for rare steak. I'm okay with paying more for quality and a convenient location S of Anaheim. But this was very disappointing. I expected the quality to at least be on par. I also ordered the pork and shrimp spring rolls. Although I could tell they were made fresh to order, the were so small they reminded me of my Ex. Also disappointing was there was only shrimp in 1 of the 3 rolls, that cost $10. 2 stars because the food was hot and fresh, albeit sub quality, and the service was pleasant. I hope they can figure out what's going on with their recipes and portions before they go under. read more

I got the pho with rare steak to go. The broth and noodle were good but they didn't include lime,sprouts, Thai basil or even a spoon. It was my first time there so I'm not sure if they forgot or they just don't include it. They also only have one size and the portion was smaller than other pho restaurants. It also took them like 15 min to get my 1 order to go and it wasn't busy so I'm curious why it takes so long, most pho spots only tale a few minutes to get your order. It's not going to be anybody's ultimate take on Pho, but they put the pickled Bun Mi veggies in their BBQ pork spring rolls and I'll bet those are THE ones for lots of people. So good. So we were craving banh mi's and we are trying to support more local businesses. We've seen this place before and we figured why not. NO REGRETS, we ordered the BBQ pork and chicken banh mi's and they were 10/10. Most places are honestly stingy when it comes to meat but this place isn't. Ok, I used to really love Number 9 when they first opened their physical location, but stopped going several years ago because the wait staff was not the greatest. OMG I was so excited when I found out they have moved to a delivery only model! The food is still incredibly fresh, filling and such a good deal for what you get. I usually get the veggie spring rolls. Best I've had (except for the homemade vegan ones made by Harmonie for PADNET events, but I digress). Stuffed full of fresh veggies, perfectly wrapped (nothing falling out) and the peanut sauce is sinful. I usually get the bun, which again, is more than generous with veggies, tofu, noodles and sauce. (I really need to take a picture and post because it always arrives Instagram worthy - no soggy wonton crisps or wilted veggies even though the noodles are still warm and moist.). Servings are generous enough for two meals ... if you can stop yourself from stuffing it all in in one sitting. I *loved* the pho when the had a physical location, but I have not tried it for delivery yet. I look forward to trying it when the weather gets cooler. I see some reviewers complaining that it is not authentic enough. IDK if it is or not, but I can say I cannot think of a local Vietnamese restaurant that has fresher, high quality ingredients with such generous portions at a reasonable price. read more

The service is great here. Friendly guys who want to make you feel welcome. They should do away with the use of single use plastics. I think their paper bowls might be recycle but the spoons are plastic. Also when I sit in somewhere I want to use a real bowl and silverware. The food was pretty good!
