The 99 in Chicopee ma. Pulled up found easy parking. Was greeted nicely at the entrance and was seated very quickly being it was 6:30 I was surprised. Ordered our food and appetizers came out very prompt and hot. We got the colossal meatball which was served with several pieces of garlic Texas toast which was very good. Then on too our main dish the smothered tips. Mine with loaded mash hers with broccoli meal came out right after appetizers was finished so right on time and it was also done peferctly to our med rare that we ordered. So all and all 99... 4 stars and a thumps up on your service and food from us. As for there drinks they were kinda weak and very sweet so that's why they didn't get a 5 star rating tonight read more

This is an unrealized gem in Chicopee! Have eaten in quite a few 'chains' - Ninety Nine is the best I've experienced. Kudos to the chef...every meal has been fresh and tasty. Appreciate that the staff is friendly and experienced. Good TVs with the right games and very friendly service! Are there a few nights ago. It's usually pretty decent. We ordered ribs. They were so undercooked and tough, I couldn't eat them. Our server was at a table of people he seemed to be friends with the whole time. A manager ended up bringing us app plates etc. worst service and food. read more

I realize many businesses are struggling during this time,that is why I support. However my most recent visit here I was utterly disgusted when I watched the chef wipe his nose, and his face and fix his hair with his gloves on, all while he was in the kitchen. He then proceeded to handle food without washing his hands or changing his glove. I reported this to the manager Jill Marchewka who decided just staring at me silently was the solution to the problem. The chef (Adam) was allowed to keep handling food and did not wash his hands or change his gloves before I left. I have called several times to speak to the general manager and have been unsuccessful. This is a public safety hazard! COVID-19 is a real issue and businesses that are not following safety protocol should be shut down. read more

Not great but not bad. If you want a fairly quick meal that is the equivalent of New England comfort food this is the place for you. Pretty good happy hour specials and I've never left disappointed. I don't like chains, but my gramma likes this one so I was there on Christmas eve to pick up a gift card, we decided to go ahead and eat lunch. . This review is 4 stars because the bartender was so great.Of course now I can't think of his name, I want to say it is Chris. Anyways, he was working all day Christmas Eve, was super pleasant, friendly and generally made our experience enjoyable (he has a great scratchy old school radio dj type voice btw). I had surprisingly good fried shrimp, they cooked the wings exactly as my gf ordered them and I will say that the side house salad was a very nice size. Clean bathrooms, modern, all motion activated. Awesome salmon with balsamic glaze, broccoli, asparagus and roasted tomato. The lemon zest on the salmon was a delightful surprise. Some very good healthy choices but you can still be an American and choose fun food that is not good for you! So close to the thruway. Very good service. Let's start with I HATE chain restaurants but this was close to my hotel and I'm not familiar with the area so I chose this out of convenience. My server Ashley was fantastic. Went to this place twice in one week, Friday and Sunday. Both day I had a such delicious meal. I had a Virginia Cheddar Burger with French fries and Roast Beef Dip Sandwich with french fries. I think this is the only 99 restaurant I can think of the best place to eat in Hampton county of Massachusetts. Because other 99 restaurant I had were a negative experienced. read more

The Chicopee location is our favorite. We have been to almost every 99 in the area but this one is the best. The service is always good. Dani and Kathy are our favorites but really they are all good. obviously they are well trained because even the new servers get it right. I especially like how your food is brought to the table by several servers as soon as it arrives at the window. It is always piping hot and served all together. I love the baked scrod. it is fresh and nicely seasoned. I have ordered fish at much more expensive restaurants and been disappointed that it wasn't as good as the 99. The fish tacos are also really good. The manager Tom runs a tight ship and it shows. Dining there is always a great experience. read more

A great local version of an Applebee's type place. A very diverse menu, and a good draft beer selection. I got one of the hamburger options and it was cooked just as ordered. They have several options to add (grilled onions, mushrooms, etc) at no additional charge. Service was great, friendly, and fast despite the crowd that was there. read more

The food is as good here as every other 99 I have been to, PLUS it has free Wi-fi!! However, since I have already pledged my undying love to the Liberty street location, I can only give this one 4 stars! You can tell that there are plenty of regulars at this one too, with good reason. read more

This place was never really all that good to begin with. The servers were really nice and prompt, but the food was absolute garbage. It tasted like the food was old and i honestly would not have fed it to my dog. I almost threw this horrid meal right back up, but forced myself to shovel it down, cause hell, i paid $50 for it all. Never going back here again. Sorry, servers! You guys deserve a better place to work. read more

My boyfriend and I chose 99 for our pre-errands lunch today and were pleasantly surprised, most notably thanks to our server, Dani. She was cheery and flawlessly efficient, and knew when to check in and when to give us our space like a seasoned pro. Our meals (a bruschetta flatbread and stuffed shrimp and lobster tail) were delicious and perfectly timed, and we would order both again without hesitation. Both having extensive backgrounds in the restaurant industry, we understand how quality service is expected by all and appreciated by few. We also know that it is hard to find. The 99 Restaurant and Dani deserve recognition for a great meal and a job well done. We will be back. read more

From the start not a great experience. But to top it all off I left my credit card behind. I was traveling there and leaving town, as I was leaving I realized it would be an hour round trip to retrieve it. I called the restaurant and they told me my daughter could come by and get it the next day if I shared her name, etc. I did, got on my plane and then heard from my daughter the next day that Tom the manager would not allow this to happen. Even as I offered to fax or email a copy of my drivers license, give him the exact card number and expiration etc over the phone and have my daughter go in with her ID. Nope. While I am keenly aware of fraud, really? My reason for complaint - Customer Service. If an employee of his shared directions and an approval for this transaction to happen and in not following through with that has resulted in my not being able to retrieve the card when I could have turned around and made a trip to get it - that in my opinion is poor customer service. In addition, he was fine taking instructions from my daughter to "cut it up". I suppose that isn't a risk to him in the sense that he is not giving the card out - but how about asking her for my phone number and contacting me directly? I had to call him to review the situation - his reply "I am sorry". Not helpful and honestly the easy way out. There were plenty of ways of confirming I was the card holder. In addition, he had no interest in asking me about the employee. What time did you call? Was it a man or woman etc. Just disappointing. read more
