Pretty on par with average Korean chicken spots in WA Service - service was great. The girl behind the counter and a nice smile and was patient as we contemplated which options to go with. She actually asked us if we wanted to sample the different sauces so we tried most of them. It was a bit of a wait once we ordered but everything is fried to order so understandable. Ambiance - definitely a grab and go type of restaurant. they have 3 tables inside if you decide to eat in but it's really not set up for dine in. Food - overall we enjoyed it. We had the buldak, soy garlic and cheese snow. They have 3 different spicy options that for the most part all tasted the same. There was a spicy soy garlic that was delicious but last minute opted for the non spicy soy garlic (which we hadn't sampled) and the standard soy garlic was sort of lacking flavor. The cheese snow which is basically a cheese powder was really delicious and our overall favorite. Here's the problem. We ordered bone in wings for all 3 flavors. Our cheese snow box had 1 GIANT drumstick and random boneless pieces of chicken. It really looked like they just fried whatever they had left. Flavor was fine just chicken was janky. Overall it was good. Wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if I was in the area and needed a KFC fix.

I stopped in about 30 mins after they opened on a friday and they had a lunch rush, everything is cooked to order so be prepared to wait at least 20mins. I ordered the 6oz catfish and chips which came with 3 catfish strips, fries, 1 hush puppy, chips and a drink ($16.99) I also got a side of mac&cheese. The positives: staff was kind, pastor at the counter would make jokes with customers and you could tell they had regulars during lunch time. Fries were well seasoned, hush puppy was good and Mac was acceptable. My only issue with the catfish was that it was overcooked and became a bit chewy (see photo). Sitting in there it seems like the wings were a customer favorite so I would love to go back and try their wings and other sides. Since my order took longer (there was a large order right before mines) the pastor at the counter thanked me for my patience and threw in a dessert.

The place is quaint and the people are friendly. And the food here delivers in every possible way. If you appreciate Soul Food and/or Southern Food then this is the place for you. The cabbage here was everything I could ever ask for. I wanted more when I was done. The Mac & cheese didn't look like much to me but man did it serve on tastes. It was cheesy, seasoned and cooked just right. The fried chicken was cooked fresh and seasoned to perfection. My breast was still juicy and piping hot. Call ahead for to go orders or you'll spend your time waiting for the chicken to be fried. The peach cobbler here is not my preferred way to have as I like a pie crust with mine but oh my goodness, I took one bite and couldn't stop savoring this dessert. Do yourself and get you some. Open Fridays & Saturdays, and the menu slightly rotates weekly so check their website ( southerngrill1.com ) to check menu and confirm hours. This place is everything and more that I could ever ask for when it comes to good ole soul food.

You order at the counter when you come in and it's a pretty straightforward and simple menu. You can choose boneless or traditional wings, and your choice of spice or sauce. It's a pretty good deal that I definitely cannot finish on my own, or even my girlfriend and I can't even finish it. Even though I'm typically more of a bone-in wing type of guy, the boneless wings are still pretty tasty and for the price you seriously cannot complain. Are these the best wings in the world? Definitely not, but they are satisfying enough for when you crave wings. The ranch sauce here makes it all more enjoyable too. Staff were friendly during my most recent visit at the Tukwila location last week, and the wait time was average for the order to come out. Decently clean dining area as well.

This day one of the FIFA games was being show. And the place was packed. I had a chicken Caesar wrap with spicy chicken. One thing is clear, in anticipation of the crowd, most of the items were made ahead of time to allow for quick table service. On one hand, when a soccer match is on and beer is flowing, the food becomes second to the fun of the game. So it was different heating a cold wrap that had been sitting in the refrigerator, Warmed for a few minutes and then served. Fries that were begging to cooked, but the best root beer I had that day. Lesson: don't go to the sports bar/restaurant when are actually hungry because the game is more important to than the food. Also, when near a large mall, you are effectively in fast food grease alley and I had to accept that as I was so hungry that pigeons looked like food.

They show sports on TVs all throughout the venue so if you want your Fikse of baseball, basketball or football this is a great place. We had about a 10 minute wait for a party of four. After looking at the menu, I saw that they had cheese curds. Being from Wisconsin this was a staple. I'm surprised we didn't eat them for breakfast. These were well fried and portioned and Kame came with a great dipping sauce. We decided on the traditional wings and got a 20 piece order of Asian Zhing flavor. The other two decided to have a more spicy option. Reasonable wait for the food and our server came by to check on us. The wings were incredible. Perfectly done with the right amount of sauce. Carrots and celery sticks on the side with ranch dressing were a nice touch. Restrooms were very clean and our server was very friendly and checked in on his frequently. Great experience.

I don't think I've had anything that was meh at this location and this spot gets very busy, but despite that you will get a buzzer to let you know when you come get your food or if you did an online order then there is a section where you can tell them your name and they will usually have it ready for you. The staff here are very friendly and helpful in assisting customers. They are also bilingual so you can speak Tagalog or English! There is quite a bit of seating from solo, couples, and family seating. The most recent visit, I noticed they didn't have tables and chairs at the front but they also are doing a FFXIV collab so they were probably really busy. Speaking of the FFXIV collab, this location had the limited drink and it was pretty good. It does just taste like a watered down Gatorade but I did enjoy the crystal boba and they included a generous serving of it. I also appreciate that FFXIV themed buckets, boxes, and cups are only given to those who order the FFXIV items so that way people who actually want them get them.

After 7 nights of cruise food, we were ready to try something new and local. Sharp's was only 5 minutes from our hotel, and highly rated, so I figured we would give it a shot. We arrived at the restaurant to a full parking lot with people standing outside. However, when we went in, the wonderful hostess informed us there was no wait. The seater showed us to our table, and chatted with us about our day along the way. He also explained the 3 menus that he gave us, and informed us we were right in time for happy hour. Our server, Sam, greeted us promptly, and she was so incredibly welcoming to our family, answering questions about the menu items. It was so hard to decide what to order, so we ordered several small plates (Brisket nachos, Wings, Brisket tacos, fries, and mac and cheese, along with the complimentary cornbread). To our surprise, everything came out so quickly. This was probably the fastest service I've ever had at a restaurant. The servers who delivered our food were friendly and welcoming as well. Not only that, EVERYTHING we ate was phenomenal. The fries were flavorful and perfectly salted, the wings were fantastic, and the brisket nachos? Wow....the brisket was some of the best we've ever had, and the nacho chips even stood out. The biggest compliment is from our 15 year old who said that the mac and cheese is some of the best pasta she's ever had. Throughout the whole meal, Sam was so attentive and chatting with us about the restaurant and dessert options. I truly enjoyed everything about our experience. The food and service both were top notch. The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant is that I'll have to book another flight to Seattle from Michigan to eat there. I'll be recommending it to everyone I know though!
